Hi guys,
When I'm calling with my Desire HD there is pause button on screen and I accidentally touch the button which causes breaks in calls. Is there any way to change the default phoning app? I've tried GO Contacts, but it changes only managing contacts app. I'm using Cyanogen Mod 7 if this is revelant.

I know PhoneAlarm offers the option to disable alarms during calls... it either stops them till u hangup or provides a small tone during your conversation ... instead of playing the tone right in your ear....
I didn't want to install another application just for that one feature... is it possible to perform the above with a registry hack?
HTC touch pro (sprint)
nothing?
no hacks for this?
I installed the great Home Tab Cookies few weeks ago, but after that the incoming call mute button stopped working or so i think that it has something to do with the application.
The problem appears when call comes and u have the slider to left and right and below is the mute.
So is there any tricks or somethin to fix this problem with out hardreset? Or is there any other way to mute the incoming call
I tryed to remove the app and installed it again but nothin happened!
I had the same problem so I switched it from the Hd mini lockscreen back to manila style and now my mute button works fine.

[Q] Android > create Telephone app that keeps focus on outgoing & incoming phoneCall
Using this simple example to create a PhoneCall application that dials out a hard coded # and monitors phone state.

Unfortunately, on making the phone call, we always switch to the actual built -in phone application.
I want to avoid this, or at the very least hide the dialer pad button. The user SHOULD NOT have the option to enter a phone#.
Does anyone know of a way to achieve this? i.e. keep the actual built-in phone application in the background (I would need to add buttons for speaker, and end call in the primary application)
OR
alternatively, hide just the dial pad button in the native, built-in phone application?
My mom's phone and my P01v have the same version of Facebook Messenger. It works well on hers and use to on mine.
After a recent call I realized that FB Messenger now turned my screen off so I was not able to access the speakerphone feature as well as end the call. It did not do this before. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I have also reset my phone but there has been no improvement. The proximity sensor on my phone does not work. I have tried to make and receive regular phone calls and Viber calls and I was able to get a speaker phone, end the call, and the screen did not turn off.
Is there something wrong with Facebook Messenger? Since I have not been able to get the missing features and keep the screen on I'm now thinking of editing the FB apk instead. I was able to extract the apk, can anyone help me out on how to hack this app?
Note : I've had a similar issue with Asus dialer app (screen off, can't turn it on again during call, cannot access speakerphone, cannot end call unless I press the power button) and its because of the proximity sensor. I uninstalled the Asus phone dialer app and installed 3rd party dialer and phone related apps, problem solved.
Hi !
Before proceeding into any "hacks" better go to a service center , you must be sure wether is a hardware issue or not
