Very nice, been waiting for this. so far seem most functional. I found a bug tho: the wake up by power button seem a bi erratic.

Might need to do something about this.

It seems I'm not able to download apps from the Market. Can anyone else confirm this? (preferably, from a country where paid apps are visibile 'by default')

Does the camera in this rom have touch to focus functionality? I'm about to flash to this one, but I do like the camera in the desire rom..

Nevermind, I've already flashed it.
Found 2 bugs: the camera and screen autodim
Basically this is the default nexus camera, and on the desire hardware (at least on mine) it cannot autofocus. Takes blurry shots, and the lens seems to dislike the rom..
The screen auto-dimmer seems to be stuck on really low..
Besides this everything seems to work fine. The lockscreen is perfect. Not keeping the rom though, the camera is a nogo for me.
Just hope somebody can bake this lockscreen into the desire rom

Nice, the stock 2.1 messaging and contacts are much faster and nicer than the sense apps. Forgot how much faster.

Its the Cyanogen rom with helixlauncher. I modded the framework and services.jar.
Lots of mods in the nexus section that can be used now

No, you have to do some work:
The morphs cant be used due to semi-root that we have today. (no write permission)
And the mods may need to be converted to be able to install on this rom.

Running this rom is pretty nice. Opening the app drawer seems to lag a little but not bad. Love the custom rosie (similar to Launcher Pro, but we get Sense Widgets too!) +1 for that.
Things I do like:
- Adding app to screen from drawer add-ons (name the app before adding it i.e. contacts instead of people)
- Custom Launcher Pro-ish rosie with Sense Widgets working
Things I don't really like:
- Transparent background in app drawer and most menus
- Mentioned the lag in app drawer loading
- Dedicated back to home button when app drawer is open
* Got force closes when trying to add htc sense music widget
- Thats about it

This is the first Rom I flashed that I'm getting bad battery life with by using the new stock kernel. I went from 80% to 50% in 2 hours.
I'm going to flash another kernel and see if that makes a different.

It's very nice! I've got to get used to it again though since I've been using the HTC one for so long. I've always preferred the key press vibrate for the stock and Android keyboard as opposed to HTC's.

I also have had requests from rom makers about putting it into roms contact me I have a flashable zip (Smiley key intact as well) that has the pieces needed for it.
It means a lot to me that people are using it I am not a skilled dev or even much of a dev at all, but I do what I can to give back

unfortunately i can't, if you get me a version of the gingerbread keyboard with arabic already in it i can make the dimens changes but there is no way to add that post the apk being compiled

No, it has the stock CyanogebMod kernel. LorDClockaN's kernel is just for the DHD

Tried the ROM.. still going through it... found one issue so far:
1. The Audio quality (during calls) is a bit sharp and not pleasant to the ear... can some one else confirm it ? (It is not sharp on other ROMs)...
Otherwise the ROM is quite good ... Love the all black look

Well, this bug may be present, i guess it's closely related to the caller hearing an echo. I'll see what i can do.

yes I can confirm that sound during of call is not good... but ROM is pretty nice.

Didn't have any sound issues during call...
The rom runs smoothly on my phone, great work. Only on fc in icetool when clicking on system tab.

This is a best AOSP ROM so far for desire S.
1. Caller voice is sharp.
2, ICEtool fc when choose the system tab
3. proximity recalibrator gives error 'Kernel not supported: ps_polling_ignore not found'

Yeah, the proximity recallibaration is for DHD, the lordmodue kernel to be more specific. It won't work for DS

Letters like: î, ţ, ş, ă are not showed, i think i need "US English (Romanian)" as a language.

The google googles force closes if you try to load a image,tried a fix permissions from rom manager still same.
But will use this has my daily love it

Small Bug: The camera shortcut overlaps the music and missed call thing a little although it doesn't affect the functioning. To use the shortcuts just drag them to the bottom left corner

I really like the BMW one .. so much so that I installed the ROM just to get it haha.
Anyway. It was worth it. I just wonder how I can keep the BMW ring but change the skin. Whenever I change from the HTC skin it replaces the BMW.

Would like to change the thing where the phone mail and sms icons are whatever thats called and also the recent apps UI. Are those moddable do you know?
