i will suggest to make a usb jig or buy one. The procedure to make it is available here. Search it. And u will be able to get into download mode and flash a stock i9003 firmware (also available here). Samsung service center will definitely refuse to give warranty. so i suggest u use this method. And here is a video link to how to create an usb jig. Its really easy if u have the tools
hxxp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rdn5GoRjhn0
That wasn't very clever was it? It's very silly of Samsung to make these phones sound similar, yet they are very, VERY different. There is basically no hardware inside the i9000 which is the same as the i9003. Please refrain from doing stupid things like this in the future, you will only end up with a very fancy paperweight. The main reason your phone won't boot is that the i9000 bootloaders are probably flashed to your phone. I'm not sure if a USB Jig will fix this :\

Agreed. you need pure stupidity to do this.
oo god i did the same thing.
Any Fix available??
PLEASE HELP!!!!
Remove the battery and leave it out for about 1 minute. Then with the back still of look to the right of the camera and there is a small recesed hole, stick a pin in this and hold down for about 30 seconds. That worked for me when i had a similar problem,

This guy is clearly a deep noob. He would not understand even if you make videos of what to do.
EDIT: follow this video procedure: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rdn5GoRjhn0
once you enter "Download mode" you can flash a i9003 stock rom to your bricked device. If this does not work, bring the mobile to samsung assistance.

If you put it in a proper diet , probably even make it exercise daily for 2 hours on a treadmill , then yes it will be healthy ----Err, In all serious aspect.
Get it checked at the samsung service center, Period. There is no hope, Clearly if he is a deep noob what ever you are about to tell him will fly over his head. Or worse case scenario probably ignite his house trying to build a jig kit.
i make it and 301 Ohm but mobile not go to downladoding
usually your kind of brick can be recovered by jig. Try again or buy one from ebay.
If it still fails, you have to bring it to the samsung service. if they investigate they will easily recognize your crazy attempt to flash i9000 rom on it. Sometimes they ignore and repair it (even if they have seen the mess caused by the user), sometimes they repair but ask for reparation cost since the warranty is void.
Good luck, next time first read, understand and then flash. Flashing is a risky procedure and one must knows what he is doing.
i life to iran and give mobile to samsung service

ok buddy. I understand that u are a new to android & to flashing. Generally flashing is very advanced procedure. So u have to research alot about it before attempting such flashing. There is a FAQ thread in forum. Read it 2-3 times in depth to understand basics of flashing, modding. Even if u dont undestand some points then post ur questions in Q and A thread. We will clear ur doubts there. But dont creat new thread especially for new questions.
Now about ur problem i will just say that plz dont do any experiement further & straight a way go to samsung centre & give ur mobile to them. Tell a fake story that while updating from kies by mistake computer turned off so now phone is not starting. In one or two day u will get mobile repaired. Flashing i9000 rom to this mobile is common mistake done by new members. So dont wory about ur mobile. But from next time dont do the mistake again.

Hey,
I recently rooted my note 2 via some YouTube link.. Now for some reason I am still getting over the air updates and my recovery mode always goes into the Samsung recovery (only options are wipe data and some others.. The screen is black with a green android mascot )
However all the root apps are working.. So what do I do£
Do I install the update which has come over the airborne not?
Thanks for the help..
You should send us a link to the youtube link and you should get a rom off XDA, it works better and you get more support.
Hope it helps
What next

Have you even gone to the thread for your device and read there? That should be the first thing you do before you do anything on your phone. Following some youtube video then coming here for help is not very considerate. Also you provided no information.
Luckily for you. You have root access but you haven't installed a custom recovery yet. You need to do that next. Then install the rom of your choice. Look in the development section for your device and read the stickies. Good luck.

hi,
yes i did.. there was a video.. i watched a 100 of those before rooting the device .. so in the end i chose one which i thought i was the most comfortable with .
unfortunately this happened and now it has come notice that xda is the overlord of sorts in android .. at the time i didnt kow else i would have followed the xda guide..
hence i ask NOW WHAT.
should i unroot ?
my recovery goes into stock recovery and cwm or twer recovery doesnt work properly .. so hence my question was thus framed..
please give me a suggestion that you see fit

Sorry dude, it's mostly a hard brick
Why ain't you ask a JTAG man if he can help before checking up the hardware?
Since it's still vibrating means it's still a life.

No proof of this! How to be sure that you are not a scammer?
---------- Post added at 09:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:03 AM ----------
OK @wrundawan I found the scam, you have a dead device and you never solved your problem. You only need an other device to play with it and try to repair YOUR device, that's why you can't prove anything. I searched for your old posts on Xda and I confirm that your phone is always dead and I found this from you on the web who comfirm this again: https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-16341.html
Other thing, selling services and spamming all threads is against forum rules so I will contact forum moderator to have his opinion.
To all users, I will make a small guide to explain how to unbrick your phone, it works in some case but not 100%. For the short story I bricked my phone some weeks ago with the same result, only red light, and I successfully resurrected it. Don't worry it's free, you can do it yourself and I can provide a video for proof
Buddy check the date of that post at which I had posted it.
Currently I had fixed my device and also helped other guys to fix their phone.
I hope your just eagerly waiting for posting me here solution as till now you didn't got any solution. As I said my solution is paid, I am not rich enough to do it for free.
Show me single person with whom I did scam.
Good to know if you got solution and posting video soon.

And you show me some users who repaired their phone with your solution, nobody reported good feedback or trusted you. You can't show us anything, video or any kind of proof, for me it's a big scam!

No proof of this! How to be sure that you are not a scammer?
