The mod is compatible with ICS 4.0.x and I packed the theme as metamorph pack so you can use that on every rom. You need the app Metamorph or Zip Themer. Don't try to flash the attached the zip, it will not work.

How to:
Metamorph: open the app and select the zip files. Apply it then reboot.
Zip Themer: open the app and make a flashable zip. Have fun.

AsusICSButtons: the new ICS ASUS icons ready for Metamorph or Zip Themer

An update.zip version would be great. That way people can download it straight the transformer, move it to their MicroSD card and flash it without going near their PC.
I wish I knew how to do this stuff. Is there a good website with tutorials, etc?

Making a flashable .zip. Hope the OP doesn't mind. Give me 1 minute.
Edit:
Flash in Clockwork Recovery. Unsure if it works in Stock Recovery but I don't see why not. If attempting to flash in Stock Recovery, rename to update.zip (unsure if it works, but it should)
Stock XOOM: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?8q3s3rcp1t16p47
Stock TF101: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ozgwcu874m2wanp FLASH ONLY TO UNDO THE MODIFICATIONS
Enjoy. I've tested it as well (Clockwork only).

If you copy it over, with a different name, say SystemUI2.apk, and put it in the system/app folder with Root Explorer, you'll be fine. Then, just navigate to it, and change the permissions. Once they are set properly, then you can rename it to SystemUI.apk without any FC issues. You'll just have to reboot in order to take note of the changes.
good to know, thx for your clear explanation

In root explorer, everything in the first column, and only the top one in the second column. Everything else should be unchecked.

You can do the copying with root explorer.
Download swype with the swype installer, if you don't have it, find the apk and install to/system/app/. If you download with the swype installer, install and don't enable. Copy com.swype.inputmethod-1.apk to/system/app. Install the apk there once copied. Put the swype_htc.zip in the android themes folder. Download metamorph. Select create new. Select the swype_htc.zip and follow the instructions. Once applied, reboot the phone, then go in to keyboards in settings and enable swype. Some times it won't take on the first try, just reapply the metamorph and reboot and it should take.
Get it HERE , make sure swype is in /system/app and named com.swype.android.inputmethod-1.apk
I take no credit other then changing the .thm to .xml
If it doesnt work let me know asap!

did you move your swype is that why you are having trouble removing it?
If so-
delete the app from system/app or whatever the current location is- and then delete the additional file- com.swype.android.inputmethod in data/data/
restart phone. and also uninstall your swype installer and you should be good to go
yeah it was because I moved it, I wound up just searching for any swype related files in root explorer and deleting them. Its back working now, haven't tried to theme it yet though
Can someone please apply this to the latest version of Swype with a mic and package that up?

I was never a huge fan of the clock in the notify bar where it is currently. On CM6-7 builds, there is/was a tool to disable it. Not finding such a tool for the tab, I proceeded to remove it myself. Below are my results.
I have removed it from the area by the battery and signal icons and placed it with the date in the pull down (see screenshots).
Install:
- Reboot into recovery
- Download attached zip file, extract and copy the services.jar file to your tools or platform-tools directory (depending on your setup)
- push services.jar to /system/framework/ on your device via adb
Code:
adb push services.jar /system/framework/
- Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Reboot
* The reboot will be longer than normal as we wiped the Dalvik Cache and it needs to be rebuilt (approx 3 mins for mine, could take as long as 10 though)*

Running CM7 and not having a properly themed gingerbread music player bugged me; so I decided to change that Introducing my gingerbread themed MIUI Music app! This should work on Android 2.1 and above, but it is themed to match the style of android 2.3, so this is perfect for roms like CM7, or for Gingerbread Themes. Feel free to use this in your theme, so long as proper credit is given! Also, there are two versions; the first is with the equalizer removed, and is much faster than if I let the equalizer in there. The second will be a bit slower, but it has the nice equalizer graphics on the now playing screen

Weither your on KC1 or KD1 you first want to make a backup of your framework-res. Root explorer for me is the easiest, now copy the modded framework-res, and navigate to system/framework once there, make sure you click on "Mount r/w" up top, that allows you to make changes to system files. Paste the file over the current framework-res. You will see if processing then vibrate a few times and appear to be frozen. At this point the file copied over, and if it does not reboot, reboot your device. Once rebooted, you should now see the changes. Hope this helps
Let me know how it goes.
Hey Community,
I found this bootanimation for the M7:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2248740
I didn't find that one for our device, so I modified the one from the above thread to match the M8 specs. I attach it to this post.
Just use any root explorer to copy it to your ROMs bootanimation location and dont forget to set permissions!
It might be necessary to rename it, just name it like your ROMs current bootanimation.
Robot sequence is looping until booted.

The bootanimation location can be different, depends on the ROM. Just use any root explorer to copy it to your ROMs bootanimation location and set the permissions. I use InsertCoin, the location is /system/customize/resource. Permissions are rw-r--r-- (644).
