Prevent Light sensor from switching off LED buttons? - Milestone XT720 General

Hey guys, I'm running Khalpower's V4 (following the video tutorial which was great)
I realized the light sensor now controls the 4 lit buttons at the bottom part of the phone. I'm okay with it but I realized that sometimes its not accurate and it really distracts me going on and off. Any idea if I can turn off the light sensor controlling when the buttons are lit?
Thanks!

Raphael and information diode

dear all, I have some problem with my Raphael. Information diode not indicate any status. Can I get information than existing some result for this problem?
Can I help me pleas?
i assume you are talking about the led's around the scroll wheel and not the light sensor beside the ear piece?
yes, I means led diode up devide near speaker.
READ YOUR USER MANUAL
its a light sensor.
Yes, what ardsar said.
The led's around the d-pad capacitive touch scoller thing are the notification LED's now. They pulse when charging. Pretty neat, actually.
the little glass next to the speaker is NOT a LED - it is light sensor

Curiousity about a status light

I was curious every other HTC phone i've had (e.g.) MDA, Dash......Is there a status light on the Fuze I notice that in the left corner of the earpiece there is something that looks like a light?
That depends on what you mean with status light.
The ring around the "enter" key give an indication about missed calls, appointments or whatever.
thats the light sensor for dynamic backlight ajusting
I mean status light as in it blinks green when you have service, red when you have no service, or green and blue when you have service and wifi connected
No such light on the TP. You will have to check the screen for that.
The light sensor is indeed located at the top of the phone, next to the opening for the speaker. Try it by setting light to automatic and cover the sensor by hand. You'll see the light intensity of the display change.
Thank you....Just a feature I miss

Backlight

Is there any way to completely disable the backlight on the samsung galaxy s 4g?
What I mean by this is that I don't want the soft keys on the phone to light up at all
I would like to see a reply to this as well...I use Screen Filter and it does a great job at dimming the screen beyond the minimum I can with Android, but it doesn't affect those buttons...they're blindingly bright in a blacked out room...

[Q] duration of backlight on hardware keys

hi there, could some one help me work out how to control the duration of the bottom touch capacitive keys on my lg p920 3d, as they only stay on for 6 or 7 sec i need them to stay on while im using it,as at night its just not possible to know where the keys are!my old lg p970 black had it and the led lights would stay on really dim but enough to see them,so if you can post a link or know of a app that can do this let me know
Try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1216824
It will keep the LEDs on while the screen is on. And it can do some other stuff.
But it is not possible to reduce the brightness of LEDs.
Over the time you will find yourself remembering the position of the 4 keys and maybe the function to reduce the timeout of 6s to lower values will come in handy

[Q] Proximity sensor red led is on all the time when using Smart Screen app

Hi everyone :victory:,
I've just found out a very convenient app to control the screen on/off automatically:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=novum.inceptum.smartscreen
But it makes the proximity sensor led red all the time although the screen is on or off (like during a call), is it safe?
