[Q] Some questions About Samsung I5800

I bought a Samsung galaxy 3 , here in spain. How can I do a overclock? and if it is posible. What the max. overclock posible to this phone?.
and the last question! xD. Why change the kernel on a android phone is better than the nomal kernel? thanks. (sorry for my bad english and for my ignorance about android)

As far as i know you cant overclock it. You can underclock it though. If there is a way to overclock it i'd be interested too.

Somewhere I read that Samsung Galaxy kernel doesn't support over clocking.
So I think if one replaces the kernel it is very much possible.
I could upgrade to froyo but couldn't find any way to overclock.

Yeah, some of the devs need to enable the overclocking of CPU in the kernel itself.... Customised for us !! :/

Which Kernel for I9100 KJ4?

Hi all,
I am in the process of rooting my new Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100
I am looking for the correct Kernel to replace the current:
Kernel Version 2.6.35.7-I9100BVKJ4[email protected]#2
I have had a look for the matching kernel on the thread:

However I can only find one which is KJ3 and KJ5. Is it ok to use either of these and if so which one is better?

Ok. Here is it. I have seen a stable build of Galaxy S2 GT-I9100G, REMEMBER IS (G)!!!! Don't reply me with the answer of S2 without the G, I'm asking the[G] Version. So the stable build was here http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=i9100g&type=stable for the [Direct Download: cm-9.1.0-i9100g.zip ] So i wondering if it really stable and safe. So, here the Question.
1ST:Is it safe to flash? Will it brick? Worth it? And what Android version IS IT?
2ND:Is this CWM Good, Working, and Safe to flash?So, i'm giving 2 link, (Not downloaded from here)=http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1631934 and i found these word=This is a kernel including ClockworkMod Recovery for use on Samsung roms.
Don't use this kernel on aosp based roms like CyanogenMod!!!) And this link is where i'm downloaded the CWM and flashed it, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1683800 because of GT-I9100G_LP7_ClockworkMod-Recovery_5.5.0.4 it make me think it is the same from the first link i gave that have LP7 hacked, and i wonder it will it be also not support cynogenmod.
3RD: If the CWM at STEP 2 is not supported, What CWM that is work for SAMSUNG GALAXY S2 GT-I9100G and Flash able to cynogenmod with not PROBLEM!
4ST: Anyone have this on their Galaxy S2 GT-I9100G? Is everything WORKING FINE? Is the Performance and Battery Good?
5ST: Do i need to factory reset the phone before and after? And can anyone tell me the step if you can?
My phone is rooted and my battery is so bad and i wonder is this rom good for battery and performance. I'm afraid of bricking my phone because of the CWM. I installed cwm on galaxy 5 and it died. So This is important information to me. and PLEASE ANSWER ALL MY QUESTION CAREFULLY!

Hey everyone!.
I have a question about the Galaxy Ace GT-S5830D. I have a friend who owns this type a phone and it was just so slow. So i rooted the unit, installed a couple of apps and it seems to be better. But I was thinking about flashing a custom rom.
Now i have been reading on the forum and there seems to be ton's of ROM's. But all i see is everything listed for the Galaxy Ace GT-S5830, nothing for the GT-S5830D.
Will the ROM's for the GT-S5830 work for the GT-S5830D? Eg: MIRICLE v4 or IMAGINARY ICS Final?

Well, i decided to take a risk and flash the GT-S5830D with custom rom's designed for the GT-S5830 and they work! I decided to stick with TheMyth rom for the galaxy ace but it works just perfectly.
During the boot up it just strips off the "D" for anything on the system but all functionality does work.
its still not clear to me as to what the "D" stand's for.. as google search results show no info other then its a phone for telus/koodo.
Anyways, it seems as long as you use any GT-S5830 rom and make sure you have the right baseband. Your good to go.
I know no one replied to this post, most likely because it was as confusing but maybe this will help anyone else who owns this version of the phone.

Can you guys help me find the best rom for my Galaxy Tab 2 7.0?

Hi everyone, I would like to use my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Gp3110 tablet as a second monitor for my computer, so I would like to have the best performance possible and not use too much battery on the tablet. Could someone recommend me a custom rom based on these parameters? Or maybe the original rom already meets these requirements?
