You would have noticed it was there first but everoyne was like this is a Rom y don't you put it in the Rom ssection. Any way good job man but Im not much for the green now if it was red this would be on my phone

im not a developer or a themer ive been using the apk. for about a month pushing them to the different builds for my personal use. i posted this just to share, im not going to be updating the rom.

I'm not being mean, I just asked him why he didn't do a theme. When people have problems with it they are going to want him to fix it and if he isn't ready to do that he is going to have to wait for Drizzy (who isn't working on Hero ROMs according to his twitter).

i meant apks all of them. you can adp push the framework-res, htc.resources and rosie apks from an older hero build(non-odexed)to the Blur build youre running or do it with rootexplorer

well i mainly pushed the blur effects to hero2 1.5.1 , but i think the red is horrid. if you could tell me how i can just revert the red back to lime green.

itll take awhile to do it but youll have to replace the -- highlight, list_selector_background, pressed_application_background, status_bar_item_background.png's --
in the drawables folders in the framework-res, rosie and resources.apk's with the green ones from JAC's or another heroROM-or edit them yourself in PS

**If you notice you don't have all of the theme then you likely flashed a new rom and my theme before rebooting. This will prevent the theme from fully updating. You can flash the theme a second time to get it working or follow this guide**
1) Shut down, Boot into Recovery
2) Flash Rom
3) Reboot
4) Shut down, Boot into Recovery
5) Flash this theme
6) Reboot
**Note**
If this is your first time flashing to this rom it's better to let the rom boot fully first, then reboot to recovery and flash the theme. As always when switching roms a full factory reset and wipe of dalvik cache is recommended.

Absolutely fantastic.
Only thing is the battery percentage doesn't align with the battery. I don't personally care, but I thought you should know.

Yeah I haven't messed it with the icons enough to fix it and that's why I themed Rodriguez's batter notif to red. I also think it looks better using more of the status bar
I may look into fixing it though if other people want to see it changed too.

Glad you like it I'm not too familiar with all the roms available for the Incredible so you'll have to send me a link so I can check into it. Themes, out side of CM6 require additional editing to get the notification colors changed. I can't promise anything but I would check into it.

I'm more than happy to test the new build once it's ready. This is definitely my favorite theme so far.

This is the best theme out for the Incredible on CM6.
I added your other Maps icon back in and changed the battery icons. Can you add this Maps icon to the next release?

I agree. No offense to Jonnybueno (I love his theme too. That's what I was using before) but I just really like the notification bar icons in this theme. Really sharp looking. That and the dialer looks sick. Can't wait to get this working on the new build.

Yeah I'll try to get this updates in to the new release, I just got back to work on this some. I hope to have the new release updated sometime today before I head out for a pool tournament. If it isn't up in the next few hours it may not be till later tonight or tomorrow. I hope to have it done earlier though.

flashable smoothsense+translucent notification tray+dropdown mod. Requests now open.

HERE IS THE MUCH AWAITED MUCH WORKED ON AND MUCH FAILED (BUT NOW WORKING) FLASHABLE MADE BY ME. this is only my third flashable, but works perfectly. the problem was (for those of you paying attention) is that my update script was not compatible with the lengthy smoothsense mod.
credit for smoothsense goes to faster3200
credit for the translucent tray goes to xeudoxus & fxn
credit for the dropdown mod (i think) goes to manup or virus, not sure who
credit for screenies and testing goes to _metalhead_

Because this seems out of date for the new OTA somehow, I am trying to create a new version. This takes some time, and is not number one on my priority list. (what is number one is a 3 command root kit for the new ota so people will stop asking for an easy way to root). the new version will also include the power controls in the notification tray by jschisurf. i will start once he releases the 4g toggle publicly.
Until then, i am taking requests to port and/or combine this mod. Send me your framework-res.apk and services.jar. Both are located in the system framework folder. I will do the best i can.

i think i am right on the translucency, and there is some contradiction over who did the dropdown bar. if somebody knows for sure, please post.

Awesome mod! I just flashed the white battery icon w/% ...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=819568 and it wiped out your mod, settting it back to the white tray. I prefer your mod better so I flashed back..is there any way you can combine the two? I tried flashing the battery mod over yours and it reset it. I also tried flashing the battery mod and then yours and it reset the battery to the stock one I had before. Is it even possible to combine the two?

my zip contains stock battery with percent. if you send me your framework-res.apk (with the other person's battery theme on it) and your services.jar, i will happily make you a combination. you can find both of these in your /system/framework folder. pm both of these to me (or email, [email protected]) and i will combine my theme minus battery percent with your theme that already has the battery percent that you want.

Wondering if you can make the smooth version with regular sprint slider on bottom instead of the android and notifications word on the bottom. I really just want a translucent tray with the battery percent mod in it. I would gladly donate for it. Please think about it.

My next version will be a metamorph, so no more worrying about different frameworks! I am waiting on the 4g power toggle by jschisurf to start a new version. Yup, what Akellar said.
FYI - all of our CWM recoveries have ended up with red text, there have been 3 versions total (2.5, 2.5.x, now 3.0) any of which work with edify scripts. JT and other individuals have had to take the one released by koush and hack in edits to work with our phones, because the official versions are "broken" in that aspect - so only the ones posted here will work.
What does not work is trying to use CWM 3.0 to flash some of our theme/rom .zips (the ones that didn't already have edify scripts in them) that's where the incompatibility comes into play.

The text is black on a dark blue background making it hard to read. I read somewhere on the forums how to invert that. I 'll have to look that up. Just thought I'd let you know if you want to tweak the rom.

The text where? There's a lot of text in a lot of different places

The messaging, SMS app, has dark text.The clock on the status bar on top is missing also. When I enable and disable it in TSM parts they shift over a little but the clock remains invisible.
Time go visit that donate button now.

The clock issue is a known issue with the ROM - it defaults to the same color as the status bar so if you don't set it to a different color - or use a different status bar - you won't see it. Setting the clock color requires a reboot after btw.

bdemartino got me straighten around on the clock issue, and my cwm question for that matter. thanx bdemartino & akeller.
On bdemartino's port on the 2.1 version the indicators (wifi & cell strength) on the top notification bar were colored. Is that changeable or is that part of the TSM settings?

i believe that its changeable, but this is how the maker of the theme has it now...or so im guessing cause i didnt change anything form what he did

If u ported from vibrant ull have to check to see that the names match, I've had to rename them to get them to port correctly. That goes for 3g and service bar icons at least. I think I noticed that earlier when I threw in that data icon

ill have a look at that tomorrow...kinda taking it easy tonight to celebrate my final day of the spring semester!!! yay me for getting good grades...lol

I was able to fix the mms dark text on dark background issue.
I 7zipped the mms.apk out of the H57 Andromedena Tek and 7zip it back into H57 SoC.
Looks pretty cool! I had to go through and test a few once I proved it would work to find one I liked.
Are we having fun or what? I'm close to digging into bdemartino's guide on porting
themes, to figure out this stuff for myself.

I dived into the porting guide and figured out the basics. I decompiled the latest SoC from tator and bdemartino's 2.1 version. I picked the colored pngs I wanted out of the original and replaced the monochrome ones.
I found a better colored mms.apk from the crysis pack but didn't care much for the mms icon, to dark, and 7zipped a different one back into the res folder of the mms.apk.
Everything is about where I want it accept for the gps navigation icon is always there in the notification bar even if gps is turn off. I'm going to look at the png names again and see if i missed a blank gps png or something. Any ideas would be appreciated.
***I just 7zipped the 3 pngs from the original back into the drawable-hdpi-v4 folder. Not sure why this fixed it they are smaller tho.***

grats on learning the basics homie...if you start doing this, it turns out to be alot of fun...i love it!!

I still get black text on dark background on the balloon thread of the mms app, with the updates. No biggie I just went backed to my hacked mms.apk. Just thought I'd let you know for others trying this theme.

[ROM][CWM] VOMMMMIT - TEMPLATE ROM - Clean, Basic & Stable. [6.14.2011]

-based off of dr.honk's kd1 with the permission fix.
-simply modded. blue icons borrowed from bionix.
-uses a standard gb launcher.
-no fota fix. Use app in market by matt henry.
-accurate battery mod.
-battery turns red when low and when charging.
-removed most bloat. forgot a couple of things.
-custom startup/shutdown. [transformer head-android / android pissing and beating apple logo with bat.] (shutdown sometimes goes too quick.)
-Compatible with ALL KD1 mods, themes, etc.
-Not built for ext-4. Dsexton720's mod works fine. (waiting for voodoo recovery.)
-no fugutweaks.
-bali 2.1 kernel by dr. honk.
-kd1 modem.
Basically, just wanted a stronger version of rommmmit for our community. nothing special. This is a very clean and stable base to dev on.

Download 7-zip and GIMP and extract the drawable-hdpi and drawable-land-hdpi folders. you can edit the .png's or use icons from another source. just make sure the filenames match. place in /system/framework. re-zip when prompted after pressing the directory up button.
Just be sure not to go crazy unless ur familiar with xml.
*WHEN FLASHING, BE SURE TO WIPE AND MOUNT SYSTEM.*

WOW thanks alot for this. This really gives people a chance to get their feet wet. Stuff just keeps hitting the board for this baby! Makes it impossible not to b really excited to own one of the most kick ass phones out there!

Now someone needs to post a version tweaked. Post link in thread and I'll update in the op. see where our community can take this rom!

love the rom so far a BIG THANKS!!!.....only issue is when i press the settings button the icons will pop up grey with a black background and the words are black also so can not see the words under the icons. is there a simple fix to this? thanks for the good work

Yeah there needs to be a change in framework. Has to be in /color or somewhere. Will look when i get home.

What files do we need to replace? Ive been trying to fix that but haven't had any success

If i just want to flash with the ROM and forget about the other stuff, will I be able to do that without a problem?? Sorry, If the question sounds too trivial, still trying to get my feet in the development area,,,so right now not wanting to get my feet wet
I am currently running the Deodexed KD1 ROM from the forum.
