What is the best pdf reader on Android? From the apps I have tested so far, Adobe PDF and ezPDF they are all slow at loading pages on my Xoom tablet.
i think that's just a problem with apps for gingerbread in general. unfortunately the best avail is adobe but we should see better support with the advent of 3.1
Adobe works just fine. Doesn't seem like a resource hog. Barely use it but when I do it's quick and works.
Adobe reader works fine for me on my x10 mini pro....

hi there, what is the best (free) pdf viewer on sp5m/wm6 smartphone?
thanks
highmighty
Adobe Reader of course!!!!
agree!
Well i used Adobe LE 2.0 on my sp5m but found it too heavy and difficult to use i believe for viewing text with pictures Adobe is best however for serious text readin i have found Old orneta reader the best.
Of course the Foxit Reader with mini-map feature . Adobe Reader LE is slower.
thanks all!
go for foxit reader
Glad I found this thread. I can safely say that PocketXpdf is the best one, even though its quite aged. As Foxit costs $, and Adobe doesn't have a 'true' fullscreen mode.
MobileXpdf better than PocketXpdf
Hey that PocketXpdf is getting old now.
Try MobileXpdf instead, supports WM6.x as well!

i have the adobe reader 2.5
is there a better version then this.
can u give me a link please? i need this adobe reader..thx..
Adobe Reader 2,5 LE is OK / What Epub Reader???
as far as i know no better / more recent version than 2.5 le for win mobile (feb 2012). I tried other pdf readers -- I like this one most.
I have a huge ebook lib and read 80% of my books with it.
rest: epub, html
I use 'Freda' for epub and dont like the GUI. i prefer standard windows behavior.
So what epub readers do you prefer??
thx
I find the free Adobe pdf reader slow and laggy and far from the slick experience of web browsing and viewing pictures.
Are there any alternate PDF readers that are as slick as WP7 itself?
I wish, the included reader doesn't even reflow text just like IE. Hopefully in time
I bought the Touchpad to be a sheet music display, and I've made a nice PDF file of all the arrangements I play with my band, only to discover that the Adobe Reader on the touchpad apparently will display thumbnails but not bookmarks in my PDF file. I tried to work around it by creating a table of contents with hotlinks to each song, but apparently, hotlinks aren't working in the WebOS version of Acrobat reader, either.
Am I missing something or am I truly screwed here?
Is there a third party PDF reader that I should be using?
Anyone got any better ideas for a workaround?
Picsel smart office
Picsel Smart Office should do the job, chapter links are working and there's a search function too.
Just got my Toshiba thrive last week and looking to read a lot of books and notes on there. However I find that the Adobe PDF reader is not smooth enough. The QuickOfficePro HD that the tablet came with is also not smooth enough.
Any other ideas ?
You can try EZPDFReader, i still find it a little slow in loading up but you get the turning page effect.
I haven't found anything out there that is as smooth as Adobe Reader, but then again, I don't have a tablet.
This one is pretty good

Click to collapse
Tried that but it's even slower than Adobe Reader.
UPDATE: Kindle allows to view PDFs now and it's the smoothest, like iOS smooth
try mantano reader
