hi there, what is the best (free) pdf viewer on sp5m/wm6 smartphone?
thanks
highmighty
Adobe Reader of course!!!!
agree!
Well i used Adobe LE 2.0 on my sp5m but found it too heavy and difficult to use i believe for viewing text with pictures Adobe is best however for serious text readin i have found Old orneta reader the best.
Of course the Foxit Reader with mini-map feature . Adobe Reader LE is slower.
thanks all!
go for foxit reader
Glad I found this thread. I can safely say that PocketXpdf is the best one, even though its quite aged. As Foxit costs $, and Adobe doesn't have a 'true' fullscreen mode.
MobileXpdf better than PocketXpdf
Hey that PocketXpdf is getting old now.
Try MobileXpdf instead, supports WM6.x as well!

as per the subject, what are people using to view pdfs?
I too am keen to know what is best for viewing PDFs
I was using the official Adobe Acrobat reader 1.0 on a WM5 iPAQ. I didn't have any crashes.
Its the same software as the phone PPC's so this should work.
I use the ClearVue PDF viewer that came with my MDA Vario. Works nicely.
So...
what is the best PDF reader around? i mean.. with pan and zoom (opera 9.5 wanna be)

well said. even adobe fails to reflow many pdf files. I believe the current state of pdf readers on pocket pc is pre-alpha.
The reading experience highly depends on which resolution you use... 320x240 = forget it! No matter which client you use, viewing PDF files will just suck. And Reflow or not: With VGA (or better) you don't really have to worry about most of the files. So far I found just a handful of them that were illegible due to the text being way too small to zoom up to a decent view. That said, apart from being a memory hog, pocketXPdf does a very decent job.

i am very, very content with reading in adobe with reflow! even with glasses! lol!
Hi all.
Ive been looking around, but I cant seem to find any good ebookreader to my vox.
The integrated adobe reader - lite, sucs for reading pdf files, as it cant rearrange the text, and word isnt any real alternative.
Do you know any god ones, and what formats does it take, freeware etc?
Greetings.
Haven't really tried any of these, but these 2 came with the ROM I use:
Microsoft LIT Reader
CHM ebook Reader 2.5
For PDF files no Windows Smartphone reader is perfect, but this included in Documents To Go is the best among them. It is the only one that word wraps the PDF text, so you can read the book without scrolling around.
Unfortunately, there is no PDF reader that can reflow your document like Adobe Acrobat Reader for Pocket PC, but the Word Wrap mode of Documents To Go PDF Reader is pretty close.
For non-technical literature i advised AlReader 2 (freeware)
This programm works with TXT, HTML, RTF, DOC, FB2, PDB/PRC (PalmDOC, zTXT mode 1), TCR
PDF is unsupported
And what about MobiPocketReader ?
AlReader 2.
I simply cant find it in an english version. You have one?
Is moby pocket reader good?
Thanks for your replys.

You have to try yourself.
It's free, with PC/PPC/SP client with few format convertion.
Yes, Alreader2 is the best reader ever, with the russian menus even. ;-)
With a reader like this for the iPhone, maybe I let my Vox at home.
A new solution for ebooks on smartphone....giv it a try!
hi there....i suffered from this kind of problem....i had over 3000 ebooks in .lit format....my idea is this. use isilo v4.36 for smartphone....if u are really interested i'll put it up here.....
there is a freeware called amberlit .lit converter available. my advice is, do a batch conversion of .lit files, then use isilo on ur mobile. mine too is a htc s710....my novels are great/ pm me....i hav the full working version.
try and njoy!
i have the adobe reader 2.5
is there a better version then this.
can u give me a link please? i need this adobe reader..thx..
Adobe Reader 2,5 LE is OK / What Epub Reader???
as far as i know no better / more recent version than 2.5 le for win mobile (feb 2012). I tried other pdf readers -- I like this one most.
I have a huge ebook lib and read 80% of my books with it.
rest: epub, html
I use 'Freda' for epub and dont like the GUI. i prefer standard windows behavior.
So what epub readers do you prefer??
thx
Hello!
I'm trying to get the Adobe Reader on my F1 (Spanish rom 3.003c.00.ES) and I tried to install the official release (v2.0) that can be found at adobe's page, but it doesn't work.
Any ideas?
Thank you very much!
Adobe Reader doesn't work on S200
To read PDF-files you can use some other software like PocketXpdf (free, can be found on SourceForge) or Foxit Reader Mobile
PS: on my S200 PocketXpdf can't read big (more than 1mb) pdf-files, but Foxit can.
I finally managed to install the Adobe Acrobat 2.5 LE on my F1, but I'll try the ones you said.
Thanks!
