[Q] USB tethering problem in Galaxy S I9000

Hi,
i upgraded my phone to 2.3.4 version of android.
After that i am facing a strange problem with USB tethering.
When i connect to internet through USB tethering, it stays connected with PC for a while and after 2 or 3 minutes it gets disconnected.
This is really frustrating.
Please help me ASAP, because i find good 3G speed when connecting through cable, not through Mobile AP.

JVP & JVQ tether hang up for me after opening 10-20 webpages in PC's browser. Tried modem from 2.3.3 (JVH) with 2.3.4 (JVQ), it's a bit better but also hangs up in some minutes. USB drivers are fresh, 1.3.2410, May 2011. Probably we only can wait for official 2.3.4.

I have the same problem (2.3.4 JVR), any help?

[Q] Problems connecting ZTE modem to android device

I have a N900 Android 4.0.4 Tablet Allwinner and i tried all I could think to connect it to a internet modem ZTE. It says that it recognises it but there are some problems.
I cannot create a new APN for the modem (does not appear). For this i even restored the factory settings. It still does not work
I installed PPP Widget + SuperSU but when i connect the modem it does not recognises it
I installed APN Manager with all the networks but when i try to select my network the program closes because of some error.
Does anybody know how to solve this kind of problems?

[Q] USB device not recognized message for MI4

Hello
Yesterday I bought the MI4 from xiaomishop.com and trying to update the phone with MIUI 6 version. While I am trying to connect the Phone to the Laptop (windows 8.1 (64bit)) using the USB, I am receiving the message as "USB device not recognized"
Can someone please help me in resolving the issue?

MiPhoneManager installs also USB-drivers.

I tried using the MiPhone Manager...but still the phone is not being recognised

You should be able to upgrade it without computer.

my device is
Samsung galaxy note 8 inch GT-N5100 android version 4.4.2 baseband unknown kernel 3.0.31-2637964 [email protected]#1
Version number KOT49H.N5100XXDNH3 IMEI NULL.
my problem is
- i can't connect my note to computer, when i connect the handheld the battery shows red X cross and it wouldnt detect neither wont charging.
- but when the device charged via ac adapter it work fine.
- the device wont recognice sim celluler card "mobile network not available"
nb: all feature and function works fine inclde wifi, bluetooth, etc. (the error just gsm function and connection usb mode with PC)
i have tried this some work but couldnt solved my problem yet.
- i cant rooted my device via odin caused by the device won't detect any usb to my pc. (normal mode or download mode)
- i tried to restore efs by efspro software but not working caused by the device won't detect any usb to my pc.
- i tried to rooted via cfautoroot apk not working either

- i have replaced the Micro USB charging port receptacle and it just the same, i think the hardware of my usb port is fine.

what i havent try is restoring my efs file with flasher tools like octoplus box. because i dong have that tools. and i think its too expensive to solving my problem of one device with buying flashing tools investment.
