I was wondering if anyone was able to get their Panasonic plasma TV to connect to the TF because it seems t be the only TV incompatible.
Also is there a HULU hack out for his yet? I 'was unable to find anything.

I have a p46s2. I have tried every HDMI port and nothing works, same cable in the living room on a Samsung plasma works, can you please tell me what you are doing to get it to work or what I may be doing wrong?

I didn't do anything special. I just connect the TF to my plasma using a mini-HDMI to HDMI adapter and it works.
Sorry, I don't know what to tell you.
My plasma is an older model though (600U). Maybe that has something to do with it.

Yeah my Panasonic doesn't work either. I have tried 2 cables and 1 adapter and I still can't get it to work. Must be something with the newer Panasonic Plasmas

HDMI has different versions starting with 1.0 up to 1.4 as of right now. They have different standards so the latest version 1.4 is better and allows more throughput and resolution through that cable. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI
Not that5 this helps at all but my Pan Plasma works fine also, even added a 10 foot hdmi ext to the mini to hdmi and attached it to the 50 foot hdmi that runs through the wall. All that with no loss in quality...
Non working HDMI here
Generic cheapy cable from Amazon plugged to a P42G20B.
Works fine on a different 21" Samsung LCD (don't have model to hand)
Looks like us Panasonic plasma owners need to try a 1.4 cable to see if it clears up the problem.
So are the tv's that aren't working older tvs or are there some new and some old???
Mines a 2010 model. It seems to be affecting the Panasonic plasmas but not the lcds.

Obviously I have a Samsung Galaxy S 4G. I'm running a custom rom, the valhalla final. I recently purchased a tv out cable from samsung. It doesn't work on any tv I have. Is it because the tv's I own are older? Or does it have something to do with my rom? If this is the case can anyone suggest a rom whrere tv out works? Please help me!!
Did you go to display settings and turn on the TV out option? If so and it still doesn't work, it may be a TV issue. I've been able to use it on all the TV's I've tried.

You need to switch the yellow (video) input with the red (audio) input when connecting to TV.

I've actually found that only applies to certain TV's for some reason. It's weird. But good point, I forgot about that.

Typically this would be reversed, meaning it would depend on the cable used. The phone sends the video signal on the same output.
I tried any color combination possible. NOthing work. My guess so far is the tv that stoned yoda was talking about. And yes, to answer your question, I chcked tv out. I get a bad picture with static and stuff. By the way, after thinking about it, the switching the cables wont work. That only applies if you don't buy the samsung cable, which I did. The samsung cable has a converter in it. Samsung switched the terminals to give you the illusion you had to buy from them. So I guess Im gonna find a newer tv and try it.....stoned yoda do you run a custom rom?

Good god man you need a new TV.
I didn't say that was my only TV man.
Dear All,
I'm running on Rocket Rom the latest version for gingerbread (2.3.6) and few days ago I bought MHL adapter to connect my note to my tv through HDMI and I tried to search for TV out options but its missing, based on my search it should be somewhere in settings-->display--> tv out. I tried to find on all the menu but I couldn't find it. So I guess it has been removed from the ROM.
Anyone could help me to get the missing apk so I will be able to connect my note to tv?
Thank You
I don't think it has an "apk" for TV out. Plug it in switch TV to HDMI an it should just work. Mine does anyway
Although some custom Roms don't support TV out. Have you checked if urs does?

I plugged the MHL adapter with charger and connect the hdmi to mhl but still nothing is show up.
So I guess the rom that I used which is rocket rom doesn't support tv out, is there any way to check on android system whether I have tv out or not in the system?
Thank You
Hey I'm looking to get my phone screen to show up on my tv and i was just curious if this HDMI cord is compatible with our sensations, let me know, thanks

Don't think so
What you need is a MHL cable or a craddle that includes it
I bought one from a seller in EBAY... and it worked flawless.
It's a craddle from KiDiGi, you can find it in it's home page. Can't post it here because of the rules of the forum
:good:
Just remember that a MHL cable needs power to function
Sorry to bug but could you perhaps pm me a cheap good one, so I know what I'm looking for exactly, greatly appreciated

Any MHL adapter should work... I bought a cheap one off eBay and it works great.
Has anyone used MHL with a de-sensed ROM? For example I am running Elegancia 3.6 with Nova launcher. Should it work ok and will the screen rotate to landscape on my TV? Just wanted to check, as any videos of MHL that I have seen for the Sensation show portrait orientated Sense launcher.

Just to update, went ahead and ordered an MHL cable from ebay (under £5) and it works great. Didn't work with my 40" Samsung as its nearly 5 years old, but worked with my smaller led tv.

Be carefull wenn using cheap MHL-adapters in a moving vehicle.
The switching between 2G and 3G network can cause serious interference (white snow/flickering)..

Thanks for the tip, but I doubt it will make it outside of my house!
No problem.
I'm using one in my car with my Appradio (Pioneer SPH-DA100). Found out the hard way...
If (IF!) you're getting any interference at home, try putting network-settings in HSPDA-only.
You'll probably just fine, but maybe this info is of any use to someone else who reads it.

It is a beautiful system IF you use ARLiberator. That app lets you mirror the full phone to the radio with touchscreen!
It's like having a 7 inch phone in your car.
What resolution will be displayed on the screen, capable of giving full hd ?

I just read an article about drm protection being implemented through USB type c. I had no idea this was even a thing.
