[Q] SC card problem after ROM change - General Questions and Answers

I have SE X10 and 8gb microsd sdhc class 4. Tried 5-6 different ROMs and every time have same problem. After installing ROM from Xrecovery, phone does not recognise SD card, it can only be seen in stock Android. Right after I restore stock OS from recovery it is working again like a charm.
So does anyone have any idea what can be wrong here?
Btw i have 1gb micro SD, and it is working flawlessly with any ROM.
I already tried to find sollutin on X10 forum but didnt have any sucess, so I am trying here.
thanks in advance

[Q] Problems with flashing

Hi
Up to now I flashed two diffrent roms (RcMix and Android Revolution HD) and I had always the same problem:
After rebooting and restoring my apps with Titanum Backup Pro, The Phone doesn't recognize the micro sd card (Kingston 32gb class4). When I connect the sdcard (via a cardreader) to my laptop, it recognizes the card but I can't open any folders (if I do so then the file explorer doesn't respond and I have to reboot my laptop).
I can "repair" the micro sd by formatting it first in the laprop and then in the phone (via 4ext recovery).
Does anybody know why this happens and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.
Nobody got an idea?
Sounds to me your kingston is going out, only reason i say that is i had same issue with my Kingston! and finally it jus died and nothing wouldnt read it, or i couldnt format, so i went with sandisk 32 and its working flawless

[Q] SD Card Not Recognizable on Samsung Based Roms

What's up, everyone? I installed the Zeus Build 5 ROM recently and would've stuck with it, but my SD card wasn't being recognized (or my internal storage for that matter). However, when I downloaded PowerAmp, it found all my songs. I had this problem when I was on stock and I noticed that the Zeus ROM is based off of Samsung.
Note: I have tried two SD cards and my Infuse won't recognized either of them except when I locate them on my computer. I even formatted them and the problem still remains. Is there a way that I can correct this or is there something wrong internally with my phone? Thanks in advance!

[Q] Galaxy S2 64GB SD Card Cyanogenmod Problems

Hello, thank you for reading this, in advance i am sorry if i have posted this in the wrong area, i am new to the forums.
My problem is that i have bought myself an 64 GB sd card for My Galaxy s2 I9100. This is the SanDisk SDSDQU-064G-FFP Ultra 64 GB Class 10 Micro SD Card.
Although 32gb is the officail limit for the gs2 i have formatted my 64GB sd card to FAT32, so it SHOULD work.
It works fine with my on average 45gb of music on stock rooted rom, but as soon as i try to use it in cyanogenmod i will encounter problems such as:
Freezes in the cyaogenmod file manager when trying to get into the Sd card
Apollo will either recognise some of my music or not any of it
As you can see these problems have made me have to go back to the 4.1.2 officail rooted galaxy s2 ROM, which i am very upset about.
The strange thing is it works perfectly on the stock ROM, the other strange thing is that in the cyanogenmod ROM the sd card comes up in storage options in the settings.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this please?
Many Thanks, Brendan

Question ROM (10) Suzu AOSP stable on xperia x 5121 does not support my sd card?

My greetings to all,
I have a problem regarding the android 10 AOSP ROM on my xperia x (suzu).
I installed the ROM and everything is working fine if I can say it like that. Except my problem is the Sd card which is not supported. And he asks me to format it. What I did with a message which subsequently states that I can use my card now on the phone. Except that I still have nothing, not even a trace of the SD card in the file manager. Could you help me? I really like this ROM and would like to keep it. If there is a possible solution, please help me. I am attaching some screenshots to messages I got with the SD card. I also specify that to flash the ROM I have to send everything on the SD card and use TWRP to flash it. The SD card shows up well on my computer and the Oreo 8.0 Stock ROM on the phone itself. I have to format the SD card in Fat32, exFat, Ntfs but still nothing. I tell myself that maybe it is the ROM which does not accept the sd card. Ah yes I was going to forget, to flash the ROM, I used the kernel of android 9 pie and I don't have another SD card to check if it works or not with another. I also admit that I am not too good at handling. I just came across a tutorial here that I followed(rom-10-suzu-aosp-stable) . Thank you and sorry for taking so long.
