External battery charger

Now that official HTC/N1 battery is available, I'm looking for an external charger so that I don't have to swap batteries during the night.
I found one on eBay, but since it's eBay and being shipped from overseas (I'm in US), I'd prefer buying from local sellers for faster turn around. Too bad I couldn't find one.
Does anyone know where I can buy this charger (just the charger, no dock-charger combo) from local non-eBay seller?
This is ebay, but it's California.
It's an auction for a battery + a charger. $15.95 + $4.95 shipping.
ebay link
Just out of curiosity, is this the cradle/charger you were talking about?

It's kind of cool... looks like you can charge an external battery and the battery in the phone at the same time...
thanks mike. nope, i was talking about this charger (just plain ol dedicated battery charger)

I don't think the charger-dock combo is good for N1. Microusb wasn't designed to be a dock connector for something that's inserted-removed often. Unless you align the inserting/removing angles properly, I'm afraid it will damage the N1. That's why Google opted for 3-point contacts for dock connection instead.

Are generic cradles from eBay harmful to the battery?

Hi,
I bought a spare battery for my Desire. But since the battery cover of the Desire is kind of a pain to remove, it's annoying to change the batteries all the time to keep them both filled up. Hence I'm looking for a cradle with an included charger for the second battery. They can be had from eBay for less than $20. But could these cheap cradles be harmful to the battery, e.g. due to overcharging? I've no idea if the overcharge protection is in the phone or in the battery, so I'm kind of clueless in this respect.
No one in the know?
All of these cradles are just a USB port wrapped in a plastic case so are no different than using any USB charger.
So I guess they are only as good as the mains charger being used.
I've been using it for two and a half moths now, and everything is OK. USB cradle connected to my pc, and I've used it as sync, disk and charge only. Mind you it is as someone already wrote just a micro USB wrapped in a plastic dock, so I wouldn't worry about it.
Thanks guys! I went and bought one on eBay.

Wall charger where you put your battery in and charge it?

Wall charger where you put your battery in and charge it?
I'v checked amazon/ebay searching for seperate charger who chargest batteries 'in it self' not in your phone, is there any actually? I was looking for LG Optimus 3D size battery charger, cuz I was thinking to buy 3500mAh or 1980mAh battery, but I'm kinda worried in case if they explode, since they are...well...ebay stuff?
The wall chargers + 2 extra batteries worked very well for my last phone. I just got the same for my OD3 from eBay, they arrived yesterday. It is MUCH better than using the usb cable, and saves it getting worn out.
I got them here http://rover.ebay.co.uk/rover/1/711...amp;_osacat=0&_trksid=p3911.c0.m270.l1313

Yes thats the same as the one I have. You place the battery in the charger (make sure its hard over to the left side) and just put it in the mains outlet (you can't see the "legs" because they fold away inside the charger when not in use). Had one of the new batteries in today, seems to be as good as the original. I had the original in my pocket (I charged that in the new charger too, you must make sure the contacts are made or the charger stays blue, I had to push it in properly and the charger went red ie charging.) but didn't need it.
It arrived in about 5 (working) days, ie about a week.

Universal battery chargers - battery outside the phone while charging

Hi
I've ordered a new mugen 1950mAh battery and now I'm going to buy a new battery charger (not for the phone, only for battery). Here are some links such types of chargers:
Omg, I don't have 10 posts so I'm not able to post outside links. So please just write in 'images.google': "universal battery charger" and see the results. I take interest to the one which is a little bit similar to a computer mouse
Do you think it will work properly? Does anyone have got such a charger? Or maybe can you suggest sth other? I just want to use the phone with one battery, while the second one would be charged. Binding the phone to socket with cables during a day is very annoying.
No one? Can't believe..
not sure what you're referring to but http://www.amazon.com/Laza-Battery-Charger-Sensation-Shooter/dp/B0057HJU1Q is a good deal for 2 1700mah batteries and a standalone battery-specific charger. no pins to align every time. just slam the battery in and it goes.
or there's dozens of universal ones with sliding pins like http://www.amazon.com/Anker-Multi-Purpose-Universal-Battery-Charger/dp/B0058XGN7I
I'm sure you could find one of these for less than $5 shipped on ebay if not amazon.
But I've already ordered new mugen 1950mAh so I don't need to buy anything new. Mugen and stock batteries are enough
Unfortunately I can't find such a battery charger on ebay. But it's a cool thing because I would better buy something branded than some noname rubbish. Any ideas?
i'm using this: http://ioomobile.com/shopbybrand/990-momax-smart-battery-charger-for-htc-sensation-z710e.html
can use usb. but it only supply 500mA so it took longer to charge.
I've been using these for ages
These chargers are the best way to charge your battery, for me at least. I've been using them for years. Of course you need at least two batteries, but I usually have at least 3
These chargers are chinese creations. Some can be really slow, others a bit faster, but usually they give out around 200-400mAh which is kinda slow, but will charge your battery overnight.
The good thing about these chargers is when your phone dies or is about to die you just pop in the already charged battery and you are ready to go, no charger, no cables. And from my experience the battery lasts longer than if charged in the phone, sounds strange but it's true.
A downside is while charging they have this LED flashing, which indicate charging, and when they stop, battery charged. But these can be really bright and if you charge overnight in your room, you have this flashing colour changing lights.
I totally recommend these chargers. On chinese sites they go around 3-4$. Don't go for the cheapest, probably will be crappy.
Thanks for info guys. A week ago I bought YIBOYUAN 100-240V EU Universal Battery Charger USB Output F HTC Sensation/G14. Will see how it works

OEM battery or Zerolemon?

like the title says does anyone know a good legit OEM s4 battery to buy in the UK with a charger so i can charger it separate instead of being in the phone, also i heard the zerolemon 3000mah are good but the charger is not so good so any suggestions would be great help
My 3000 Zerolemon charges fine in my phone.
Luke
Zerolemon all the way. Charges fine in the phone, and the wall charger works great for the extra battery. The ZL 3000 lasts a few hours longer than stock for me, giving me plenty of juice for a full day.
ok thanks for the replies does anyone know if the zerolemons wall charger have the UK 3 pin plug?
