[Q] Launcher2 apk

Does any1 have the froyo launcher2 apk on aosp roms cuz im using CM6.1 now and i dislike ADW. Thanks for sharing it if anyone has it.

If you're talking about the 3d cube app menu, then just get Launcher Pro. It has the option to enable that.

As mrinehart93 said, just get LauncherPro. It's currently based off the stock launcher but has additional customization options.

I don't want launcher pro I mean the actual launcher2 apk for froyo. I don't need the 3d cube.

To me adw and launcher2 run the exact same.... sluggish

+1 That is why I quit using ADW a long time ago. Since I paid for LPP, I'd be a fool NOT to use it.

Gingerbread theme for Launcherpro

Does anyone have an icon pack/dock img for the new GB update? I love the look of the stock dock, but I like being able to scroll through multiple docks (a feature that only Launcherpro affords me).

Stock launcher for sensation

I have the stock lancher apk called launcher2.apk it works but because the resolution is diff the app drawer is off is there a version of this app that's redesigned for the sensations resolution ... Don't wanna use Lp+ or adw

I know you said you didnt want to use lp+ but why not? i use it and have mine looking exactly like stock gingerbread launcher but with better widgets

really basic, fast and can change dock from froyo to gingerbread to sense
Edit: after trying it out on the sensation is seems that the app drawer is particularly laggy :/

Good launcher?

I'm looking for a launcher to use I am currently using adw but I tried go not a fan of either... I was hoping there was a launcher that let me place my icons and stuff without being on a grid... any ideas,

There is the Go Launcher and ADW Launcher like you said. Try LauncherPro or NovaLauncher. Just search the market for launchers. Or google. I think its all based on grid.

I've been trying them all was hoping someone knew something 3rd party not based through the market :/

You can always use circle launcher for increased personalization.

My favorite right now is Launcher 7 from the market. Its simple, stylish and customizable. I'm running that on top of CM7 with an ICS theme, and haven't looked back.

Where do you get themes for it I mean I've had It but wp7 never appealed to me

I paid for adw launcher ex and love it. ive used launcher pro, go launcher and adw is my fave.

I too am using ex but I'm a person who wants something different all the time and these are just getting boring :/

There are no themes for Launcher 7 as far as I know. It's basically 2 screens; the WP7 style tiled grid, and the application list to the right. What you can do though is use your own images as icons, so it doesn't necessarily have to be a colored tile with the white icon in the middle (the default setup). Using a transparent.png and some images you like you can bend it to your liking. The CM7 ICS theme just affects the highlight color when selecting an app from the list and some small color accents when hitting the soft menu.
Before I found Launcher 7 I was using Launcher Pro, so that would be my next vote, then ADW.

I use Zeam. Love it.

Go Launcher EX is really good. I can't really think of any launcher not based on a grid but there are Circule Laucher that's not really a laucher but more of a "laucher" inside of a launcher. It look really good though. An alternative is WaveLauncher which is not bad either.

I still use zeam with miui. With the Suave HD miui theme and dark fade dock it's pretty nice looking IMO

If you want something completely different, you could tty Rocket Launcher. Not my thing, but kind of cool.

i used SPB Shell 3D for some time and thought that was really cool .

Launcher
I paid for ADW and used that for quite some time. I just purchased SPB Shell 3D and I have enjoyed it. The price tag is a bit steep but I have been using it on my Acer Iconia tablet and found it to be great!

I liked how you could change out the panels

I'll cast another vote for Launcher Pro Plus. I'm a big fan of its widgets. The calendar widget is very clean, minimal, and lets you toggle easily between month and list views. I have LPP running on CM7 and it's incredibly stable. It's also very customizable. You can't do away with the grid layout, but at least you can change rows/columns. It also has a super smooth vertical scrolling app drawer, if you're into that.

I don't run widgets. Cost to much memory so I just keep it clean and simple. I only use one widget at a time

Holo Launcher is not really optimized for tablets. App drawer icons looks disgusting. I too would want an ICS Launcher that is optimized for the tab, or even the stock TW Launcher modded for greater performance. Go HD is fast but looks kind of ugly.

Sorry guys...Any Mod can move this topic?
And, about the laucher...I already try the Holo Launcher, but it is not costumized for tablets...
Any alternatives???
