Nexus S like menu?

I just flashed over to a new rom, and it is beautiful, but I really like that Nexus S menu with the fading on the top and bottom... and the way it goes up and down and not side to side. Is there any patch for this for the Evo?

I think what you are referring to is the app drawer, get adw ex in the market... it's simply awesome, or try the free version.
Launcher pro or adw are in my opinion the best two launchers/home replacements. They have a ton of customizations.
Edit: or just look for Gingerbread launcher in the market...

Or flash a gingerbread rom. Evervolv is awesome. Cm-7 is really nice also.

Personally, I would reccomend the CM7 mod. Evervolv gave me a lot of issues and force closes, along with no market access, and I manually had to install apps via downloading the apk file.

GB 2.3 on a SGS4G?

This person on a Phoenix (Arizona) area Craigslist is claiming he's got a SGS4G on 2.3 Gingerbread.

Well, the dockbar looks like it has GB icons but the notification bar doesn't. Id say it is themed 2.2.

Has anyone asked him yet??

There are convincing-looking (and free) Gingerbread launchers in the marketplace. My Galaxy S 4G has looked like the one in the post, but certainly isn't running 2.3, and I suspect that's what we're seeing. Whether it's deceptive or just a poor understanding of what Gingerbread is -- that's another question.

One problem, the app drawer is not 3D like GB. Isn't GB launcher 3D?

Launcher pro has the 3d launcher. I am running 2.3 on my vibrant right now. With touch wiz 4 . And doesn't have 3d app drawer.

No, true TW 4 for some gestures requires the new hardware that supports multi-touch, and uses the gyrometer for tilt.
It's just TW4 without those features.

Theme
I am making a full GB theme, the problem is that I can't change the fon't colors at the menu because apktool never recompiles framework-res, so I had to keep the same old popup menu. Other than that, it is amazing

(Q) Is there any AOSP theme for Sense?

No but you could run a different launcher and theme that, but you lose all of sense when using a different launcher

I asked cause I like the feel of sense but the look of AOSP. Don't really like the playitcool ROM though.

espresso launcher for virtuous unity

is it possible? regular sense launcher sucks.. the phone button takes up 3 spaces and i NEVER use the personalize button.. such a waste..

do you need a cough drop? yea, that launcher but for unity lol if i wanted doubeshot i woulda just got that.. but it doesnt work as well as unity..

Also, search "espresso theme" on the android market. There is a t-mobile theme engine theme, as well as several options for ADW launcher.

not what im looking for but close.. although with those, you cant use the rosie/sense widgets which kills the whole purpose of using a sense ROM lol..
is there any way to change the function of the "personalize" button? i tried bullethacks but it didnt work for me, not sure why

Hey everyone. I don't like tw 4.5 cause I think its buggy. The launcher in infinity is good but it isn't just a simple apk copy and paste. Do you.know of any other tw4 launchers compatable with the charge

I've asked this before myself and from what I've been told there is no way to just add TW4 to any ROM. I think it needs to be cooked into a ROM and a whole bunch of stuff needs to be tweaked to get it to work properly. Obviously IMNUTS would be able to answer this way better than me.
Other than infinity, I know the old version of eclipse runs TW4, but its way outdated.

Yeah that's what imnuts said. He said he cooked his is. It would be nice if someone ported just the launcher without the stuff of tw 4.5

Go launcher themes change how stuff looks, not how the launcher functions.
