Hey Guys.
Im gonna buy a Optimus 3D and my girlfriend a Galaxy S2.
My question is. Can i play (lets say dungeon hunter 2) in 3D while my girlfriend plays the normal HD Version(together in multiplyer) on her S2?
Or do i have to download the HD version?
Or can she install the 3D version(of course without using 3D)
Thanks in advance
Since its GameLoft, sorry to say, you need to get the Optimus3D version for your Optimus3D and she'll have to get the GalaxyS2 version for her GalaxyS2.
You can get the HD or 3D version, won't matter. I believe the converter can convert the HD to 3D, but don't hold me to that because I haven't tried it.
Anyway, even if you bought the 3D version, it wouldn't work if you install it onto the S2.
Its just some stuff Gameloft does to "ensure" compatibility.
So, we cannot play together?
Im wondering how many people are there to play online with? If there are different verions for different mobiles?
If its a mmo then you two can play together without any problems. The different versions shouldn't affect any of that.
I was only saying that you two can't install the same version on two different devices.

That really sucks. I dont think that there is a same version of any game for the S2 and the 3D(without 3D)
What I meant is, if its an mmo then that usually means the game is played on their servers. If that's the case, then you and your gf can play together without any problems. Differnet versions of the game still leads to the same game on that server.
If you are playing a one player game meant to be played on the phone only, then its impossible to play with her together. Closest thing is to sit next to her and play at the same time and... pretend you're going through everything together.
I don't know what game you two have in mind since I don't touch Gameloft games, but you can do a quick google to see if multiplayer is available for that game.
Im talking about dungeon hunter 2. asphalt 6 and so on and so on. There are many wifi/bt games from gameloft.
You already got an answer to this @ www.android-hilfe.de. Why do you ask here again? The answer is clear.

you can play asphalt 6 on both devices but you have to buy them seperately thats because both use different CPU and GPU so both phones have different apk's of the game.
Its not about running both devices. I want to play multiplayer with my GF. As many peope say, you have to have the same version to play together.
So, lets say version 1.0 of Dungeon Hunter 2 supports the Galaxy S2 and the version 1.2 Supports the Optimus 3D. That means we cannot play together?
Havent tried but as long as the versions are the same I dont see why not. By versions I dont mean 3D and HD. I mean the game in general.
So the question is, has anyone played and noticed other players in multiplayer who dont have the 3D version?

Why don't you play other games (without phones) with your girlfriend ;-)
Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for some fun games I can either play on a single tablet ( my TF101) or possibly between a random friends phone (on my wifi) and said tablet.
I've found some air hockey variants and "2 player reactor" and would like to extend this small offering. I'm interested in pass and play and realtime games (although I understand the latter might be a bit more rare).
Can people share fun games they've played? Including, if unavoidable, games so fun as to justify buying a second tablet!
Thanks
Fruit Ninja THD
Multiponk (1 to 4 players)
Paper War
I specially enjoy the first 2, and Player Reactor!
I bought X plane ages ago and have just loaded it up on both my phone and tab. Found out that you can multi play. Gave my phone to my wife to fly around whilst I found her in my tab and shot her out the sky. Boom! Brilliant!
I think Muffin Knight has MP.

I liked GalaxIR, already the free version supports multiplayer via bluetooth with two players and I imagine how much more fun it would be with more than just two. But at least the free version only supports one player, which is still fun though...
Ragdoll Samurai and Hardcore Fighter
Ragdoll Samurai and Hardcore Fighter (FULL versions) have single device multiplayer.
I wrote these games and thanks to that thread I'm hoping to get more downloads .
Have fun - these games ROCK!

Some of you might know that currently there are a couple of high quality games on sale in the Play Store:
Because We May!
Some games are listed as incompatible for my device (P920, stock Froyo):
- Sprinkle
- Whale Trail
- Babylonian Twins
While I don't care for the latter two, I'd really like to buy "Sprinkle".
I'm a little puzzled as to why the Store denies me the purchase of these games.
Are you able to purchase these games or do you know how to trick the Play Store into letting me buy Sprinkle?
I just tried to buy Babylonian twins in the google play. I can buy it, it doesn't say that is incompatible. I'm from Bulgaria.
I'm playing sprinkle right now!
And so I have spoken it.. and so it shall be.
Yeah ... I saw that the above mentioned games require 2.3 or up. I just didn't notice last night.
add sonic the hedgehog episode 2 to the list
I was browsing this forum and was surprised that there are almost no topics around having on our amazing note! So I've decided to create a topic at which we can all share our beautiful gaming experience with games that are both compatible and updated enough for our devices.

Virtual pool is pretty good but I don't know about pocket frogs
Stick cricket and tennis are spot on!
Granny Smith is rather good. Im also playing Virtua Tennis which is decent
Although this is a great note, I am really pissed that some of the games are really pixelated and unclear I wish there was a way we could make display or resolution smaller
for games
To name about 1/2 of the games I have installed...
Angry Birds - love it on 10" of screen
aTilt 3D Labyrinth - Reminds of the real ones I had as a kid. lol, I never could make it to the end though back then!
3D Bowling - better bowling on a tablet than I am IRL If I only had an S-Pen to guide my aim in real bowling.
Crystal Defenders - life long Final Fantasy fan...
Dark Meadow - THIS perhaps is the most fun I've had on a game for a tablet.
Dead Trigger - Really is amazing what a tablet can do and I play with a PS3 controller
Eve of The Genesis - Had gotten this originally for my Epic4G but never played it. Started playing it on my tablet!
Fruit Ninja - Slicing fruit with an stylus sword! :victory:
NFS Hot Pursuit - not as good as the real game on my computer, but still looks good on the tablet.
Mass Effect Infiltrator - it was 25 cents, how could I say no? Looks good, plays well.
Monopoly - forget setting up the real board, this is the future right here!
Pac Man Championship - Sort of reminds me of the pac man arcade tables from my childhood. S-Pac-Man!
Peggle - S-Peggle!
Pinball Pro - not much to say here. it's pinball.
Pool Master - with realistic s-cue!
Quell Reflect - was free on Amazon. Puzzle game that's easy to play with the s-pen
Scrabble - had it since my Epic4G. Still works.
Shadowgun - It was free, compliments of my Galaxy SIII so I loaded it on to my tablet. Much better than playing it on the phone!
Sonic 4 Ep2 - It was free on the Samsung store. Retro gaming... Not my favorite, but it looks good graphically!
Symphony of Eternity - old school RPG that like EotG, looks good and plays decently.
Temple Run - I've heard of other devices getting lag playing this. It's lagless on the note. Decent repetitve time burner.
TurboFly - Had a pay for version for 2 years still works. There's a full free version on the Samsung store. Wipeout/FZero clone. Worth getting.
Virtua Tennis - It was free on the Samsung store. Not really a tennis fan, but still worth grabbing imo.
WIsh my gameloft games worked on the tablet, but they don't, and they refuse to assist me, so I don't buy from them anymore. Would be another 13 games I'd have to list.
some of mine:
bad piggie
angry birds space
agent dash
age of zombies
air attack hd
cytus (best music game ever!)
dead space
mass effect
eternity warriors 2
cut the rope experiments
fantasy defend
fifa12
Frontline commando
GTA3
hot persuit
judge dredd (best free 3rd person shooting game for me)
max payne
minecraft
niva
riptide
seven stars 3d
to-fu hd
Nova 3, n64oid, asphalt because it was .25c, then the basic chess, checkers, glow hockey, ping pong...
The first two are awesome and asphalt was kinda disappointing

I have many games on my tablet and most of them work well. Zapix, you have my style so you have many of the games I have; except dark meadow... It's free so I got it,
If I had to select 5 of my favourite games:
Granny Smith: It was on sale the other day
Spirit HD: Neat game, real addictive and works better with the pen than with the finger
World of Goo
ME Infiltrator
Tile Storm HD
JetPack Joyride: This requires special mention so I'll create a separate thread for this

lol, I've probably used my Note 10.1 (that I got in late August) for gaming more than I used my PSP that I got in 2007. Since I paired up PS3 controller, it's so much more fun to play games like Dead Trigger. Come to think of it, with the controller, and the adapter for HDMI out... Hmm. Nah, I'll leave my tablet gaming for tablet gaming, and consoles for the TV. Phosphor should make a Kinect version of Dark Meadow though. >.> Although I guess it would be best done on the Wii/WiiU
and now realizing I never put my NES/SNES roms on the tablet. >.>
Just in case I feel like laying around and playing Genghis Khan all day! xD

I may do that one of these days, especially if I were to pick up a 64gb card for it.
Then again, I would technically be better off playing PS1/PS2 games on my PS3 (80gb fat) on my tv...

Omg dude I love the choices, can you please add some more options .
Just got a ps3 controller, currently playing N.O.V.A. 3, GTA3, Dead Trigger,Dark Knight, Bards Tale, SNes, Fpse, etc.. also smaller games like angry birds, cut the rope, granny smith, Drawable, and so on. I wish I could play MC3 and O&C but nooo.
Sixaxis kicks ass! Although I have issues with Dead Trigger and GTA. If someone have a flawless touch profile for DT I'd appreciate it, the only thing wrong with GTA is that if I press L2 or R2 the controller no longer works, could be bug but other than that Everything works flawlessly.

Dead Trigger supports controllers natively, I have no problems with it. Just enable controllers under the settings in the game.

What are everyones favorite games for emulators such as N64oid, SNESoid, fpse, etc?
I have been loving mario kart and super smash brothers as well as star fox on N64oid.
Joe and Mac is a classic on SNES.

lol, yep it all works, Not something one expects since we're all so used to games having only touch controls. Seeing they can make native controls... Doesn't that make you wish they did that more often? xD
I just recently got Shadowgun, but really haven't played it, and I never did check if there are native controls... It's also by Madfinger though, so I'm guessing there probably are. Need more games with native controller settings!
Not sure how much if a difference it makes (I've run it on both and haven't seen any) , but if you're rooted, you can also run a little tweak to up the graphic settings from HIGH to ULTRA. I don't think I've seen any difference, but figured I'd mention it.
Here's a site explaining it.

Oh I already set graphics to ultra but thanks. But yes definitely need more games that support controllers nova would be great, I learned how to set it with the SNES emulator just a few mins ago, next I'll search to do that with fpse if its possible. I don't have shadow gun if it supports controller I may buy it. I'm running out of memory though.

I really want the n64 emulator but its ad invested, that's a petpeeve of mine. I may get some type of ad block but I'll say my fav games so far is tekken 3 (fpse), super Mario allstars (SNES) and that's it really just started out lol.

So I'm just getting into emulators, and want to download some classic PSP games to play. It's been so long since I've had my PSP, I don't remember all the good games. So far I got Socom: Fireteam Bravo, Ratchet and Clank : Size Matters, Killzone Liberation, and Resistance Retribution. What are some of your favorites?
And just a heads up- I'm using the Moga Pro Power controller and it works unbelievably well with emulators, especially PPSSPP which is what I'm using for PSP emulation. Having your phone snapped into the controller turns it into a portable game console that is super convenient to use. I highly recommend that controller.
Also, please don't discuss or ask where to download the game ROMs from. Let's keep this convo specifically about the games themselves.

Crisis Core! I forgot about that! Some of these games are pretty glitchy. Socom worked fine at first but when I played it again it was all choppy. Dantes Inferno is unplayable, so is Killzone. So far the only game that works close to perfect is Freekscape. Are you guys having issues too?
