okay its my fault for accidentally deleting it but I need the sdk tools. i redownloaded it but instead of a sdk folder there is just a sdk doc file. i read it and downloaded everything through the sdk manager and the tools are still not there. im lost and i looked through the guides and didnt see anything there. so what do I do now?

[Q] Xap deployer for Mac?

Hi. It possible make any xap deployer for mac?
How do you install the WP7 SDK on Mac ?
I recommend use Parallel Desktop or Bootcamp with Windows 7 that's more easier for your phone.
yeah i been using vmware fusion to load all mods lol to phone....works good
There is a windows phone connector in the mac app store. I'm a mac developer but i need someone who know's how a XAP installer works, what data does it send to the phone, etc? Please contact me
I haven't seen anything, just **** you cant install IOS dev tools on Windows, I doubt you'll be able to get the deployer working on Mac.
Sent from my Kindle Fire using xda premium
Try to run the Windows XAP deployers with http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page

[Resolved] Using livesuit under linux in a virtual machine running WinXP

Hello everybody,
I could not find any other experiences so far so I'd like to confirm that if someone is trying to use livesuit under WinXP running in a virtual machine in Virtualbox it works perfectly.
Just connect the tablet and then enable the new USB device in Virtualbox, and Windows will pick it up.
The only thing to take care of is that when the tablet is connected, a new hardware wizard comes up. At this point you need to MANUALLY install the drivers in the wizard TWICE before livesuit picks up the tablet.
If someone is having trouble I'd be happy to help.
I'm trying to do this a WinXP virtual machine inside of Mac OS X. Managed to install the drivers once but, virtualbox drops it quickly from the list of usb devices before livesuit can ask me if I want to flash the img
Any help would be appreciated. Sorry if this is a MacOSX specific problem but wondering if you ran into the same problem.
XDA is a forum for Android and Windows Phone devices only. Linux, Windows XP, and MacOS are far outside our scope. Try posting in the computer support thread in the Off-topic section.

This may help but I think it wont work with linux :/
You could try this in a virtual machine. After that you can flash a SuperUser/SuperSU zip file to root the stock rom, or install a custom rom from recovery.
good idea but virtual machines might be a bit troublesome but virtualbox will be fine I think.

Yup VirtualBox should do just fine, I'd recommend a Windows 7 installation. There's no need to activate it, since you're only using it to root your device, after that you can just remove the Windows 7 virtual machine.
