[Q] Wifi Help Htc inspire Desire

Hello I'm new here and had a question about my htc inspire or desire. somebody installed a custom rom I guess to unlock the phone for me everything works but the wifi seems to be not working. Its connected to the router and it shows gr8 signal also shows its connected but some how I dont have any data or access to the internet it says web page cannot display? and I cant use android apps or market or gmail. Plz help thanks

My problem solved. It was caused by the custom rom. So what you can do is try to go back with the stock rom or install a new rom and flash it. Make sure you have backed up all your stock rom so incase if something goes wrong you can get back to your old rom.

[Q] Wifi:error when switching on and no Bluetooth

After using one click root I was unable to connect to WIFI ?( not sure that I could connect as I had just received the Phone) I tried downgrading to stock rooted ROM but still no LUCK anybody have an idea on how I can fix the WIFI issue?
Also noticed that I could not turn on the Bluetooth either

I am having the same error, just bought the inspire for my wife off eBay and wifi says error when trying to connect and bluetooth also doesn't work. Dont know if it was previously rooted or not..I am new to the droid scene. Did you have any luck?

[Q] HTC Sensation XE wifi problem!

Hey guys, I've flashed the UltiMIUIcs http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1550689 after flashing, I can't seem to turn on the wi-fi. I've flashed other ROMs too, wiped the cache, factory reset...so I can't seem to find a solution. Can anyone help me?

First of all, check if the mac adress on wifi works. Secondly, i had the same issue on my HTC HD2 and therefor i used a small programm called 'Task 29'. It erases all your phone memory and after that i began to flash a new rom. And than Wifi worked again! I don't know if Task 29 is available on your phone. Otherwise, if i were you i'd flashed the rom again or otherwise try to flash a different kernel (maybe it is kernel related, i suggest to search in the thread if others users have the same problem)

well i got a problem at i install Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) + Sense UI 3.6 + Beats Audio and my wifi calling is no working i need to unchek the the location marks and when i go the wifi calling it say enabling but it never come on top im been searching but i dont know whats the cause if theres a solution to that or someone knows please send message here or private really will like the help

i updated to 4.0.3 and after update, my wifi has began not to work.
abnormal resets have been occuring.
is anyone who solved this problem?

[Q] WiFi&BT is not working

Hi,
Yesterday sudelly my wifi and BT isn't working, Wifi giving me "error" when I am tring to enable it.
Today I flashed a new kernel with a new ROM and it is still not working.
I tried to use Wifix manager and it didn't help either.
Anyone one got any idea what to do?
I am currently running CM10 by Kang rom and his kernel.

I'm not to familiar with that rom but have you tried to do a clean install with full wipe? I'm running jelly bean too but different rom and was having Wi-Fi problems it just would not connect. So I did a full wipe and another clean install then it started working perfectly for me. It' couldn't hurt to try. Hope this helps. It worked for me. Best wishes

I wiped everything from the recovery and installed new rom.
Did you have the problem with the masseage "error" on wifi?

Mine kept saying "connecting" but never connected. It just kept connecting over and over. But would not actually connect. After I wiped again and did another install it connected without a problem however I never got a message actually saying "error".by chance have you tired another rom to see if it connects ? Could be rom related? Maybe try another rom and see if the error continues to appear?
Or is this happening on all roms you install?

First I tried to reinstall my old rom and still didn't worked but now I tested with different rom and still having that issue.
I hope its not an hardware problem.

Have you tried wifix? I believe you can download from here it might help.

Im having same problem! But in JB roms my BT IS working so I think its not hardware problem coz BT and WIFI are on same chip. And more and more ppl are getting this problem and looks like no one can help us. So pls DEVS help us somehow .

Could be a hardware issue. It's happening on my phone too, and i've flashed several roms.
This occured right after I dropped by my phone, and since it's both BT and Wifi, which the antenna's are located in the same relative area on the phone - i'd assume that's the issue.

[Q] XT925 wifi issue EVERY CUSTOM ROM

Well guys, i'm new here, but i'm lost i can't find a solve for it, i have razr HD xt925 and every Custom ROM i flash come with WiFi issue (ReVolt,CyanogenMod,PacMan,Carbon) and when i come back to Stock ROM it works perfectly what can it be? And can you guys help me? I don't know where to ask anymore. The WiFi issue is that in the Custom Roms it keeps showing that it is connected but many times the WiFi don't have signal but it keeps showing that it's connected and normal and when i back for Stock ROM, no problems, works perfectly
