It's located in what looks like /movie/ on your SDCARD.
It's in a .pyv format, which is probably why you can't watch it or see it on your TV.
You can look for a .PYV converter on the internet, but on a quick google search I saw nothing.
Good luck.

Anyone have a download for it? I got my SGS4G refurbished and it wasn't on there correctly. Actually it wasn't even on there at all!

Sorry can't post any movies on here. It's against forum rules even though it was originally on the phone. You'll have to get it from someone who has the phone or go to the store and get it there. I was in the same boat. Luckily my cousin has the same phone. So now I have my whole sd card backed up to my external drive.

Lol what? I didnt want the movie to be posted here but I am within legal means but whatever.

great time killer now after get tired of games
Looks like this site just started up. They only have 9 tv episodes so far to watch. The movie section ends up taking you to another site where you have to sign up to see them, plus it only looks like a free trial for the movies, not sure, didnt want to take the time. I doubt this would work on HDMI since it is browser based using flash. I would say the site has potential if they can get some more content going.

Are you talking about iphonemoviez or some other site? From what I can tell the only reason that site plays thru HDMI is because it loads the movie into the HTC streaming video player which has HDMI out support. If anyone else know of sites that can stream using the HTC steaming video player that would be great knowledge to have...
Thanks for sharing, I have hulu on the phone but you can never have enough..
anyone filled out the credit card section thought?
I don't get it. It just looks like a bunch of links to pirated videos on megavideo. Nothing special really. There are a million questionable video hosts like that and with a Flash enabled browser you should be able to watch any of them.

Xoom Wifi Vs G Tablet (I Have both)

It's a new post because the Wifi is a new tablet ... So Na! he he
Well I'm one of those type of people who loves to buy bleeding edge and watch the development, but wanna touch on a few things.
Xoom - Screen - Wow I never knew what I was missing The Xoom's screen looks great from any angle.
Shows up as a media player - *Once again let down by a non zune pass compatable device comeon motorola your droid x and droid 2 can do it.
And that's pretty much it. Had google body FC on me quite a few times, and is pretty much just a tech demo at this time...
The G-Tablet runs circles around the Xoom. Flash is more developed, Stock browser is better, Dolphin runs smoother, Text does weird bouncy effects that never seem to fill out correctly.
So yeah, Unless you need zune pass, It's my personal opinion just to pass on this tablet for now. It's just not worth it yet.

Please confirm. You can sync the Xoom with the Zune software?
I love my Zune pass and would love to be able sync directly to a tablet
How can you sync your zune pass music? This would be a great advantage for me as well.

Ok lets qualify this. You can sync the droid 2 and droid x with mediaplayer 11. since they shows up as a Media player - Not directly to the zune software.
Also the stock motorolla player does not handle WMA, you will have to use a market download for that . *nope this don't work either*....
But you can then use media player (like you can with the droid x) to move them over.
http://androidforums.com/droid-x-tips-tricks/130945-sync-zune-pass-songs-droid-x.html
Just so you know this works for any device that shows up as a media device.. My old old samsung yep handles DRM zune pass songs like a champ as well
Xoom Wifi supports WMA? If so, your firmware is better than what the 3G owners have (no WMA support on ours, at least not yet)
Btw, glad to see a few Zune owners on here! Great player, nice sound. Had a 30GB one for awhile, but moved onto a Cowon - also have a legacy Yahoo! Music account which migrated to Rhapsody.

I've never really used Windows Media to play my Zune Content. I know it *can* do it, but you still have to use the Zune software to 'buy' music. Also, plays in WMP don't count in Zune (why do I care? I don't know... I just do )
Also, if you do a large bulk download in Zune, you can't actually play it in WMP until you Play it once in Zune (At least that's they way it used to be). For me, it made switching back and forth too much trouble. I just stay in Zune.

Sorry, this is OT I know, but I flippin loved my Cowon I used to have (still have it actually). I had an A2, and used that beast every single day for at least three years. Great players .
Zune doesn't use playforsure technology. WMA may see it and even sync music to it that was from your zune pass, but it won't play. WMA syncs with my EVO but the EVO can only play music that isn't part of the Zune Pass. I can play any song the songs that I used my 10 free credits a month for though.

Yeah price was not a factor. As I said screen is gorgeous on the xoom. Just feels so unfinished.
Get the vibe that android and Motorola have locked it down so devs don't realise how sloppy the code might be.

I don't have an Evo, but I would definitely recommend VitalPlayer... however I keep Vitalplayer rockplayer and moboplayer (not sure which ones are two words) around so that I can play pretty much anything. If you're just playing local files on the phone, should be able to handle anything you throw at it.
I use it along with cifsmanager to stream video from my network, and it's pretty much perfect unless you want to play 1080P. It can do 720P but I hope you have a good wireless signal with low latency and good bandwidth.
I have a Samsung Captivate
Mvideo player. It plays mkv's among the multitudes of other types it plays... looks great, nice controls/organization....
Yup. Use it all the time
Hmm, haven't heard of mvideo, I'll give it a try
I use handbrake on my pc to encode videos and then put them on my sd card. If you start with ipod setting then increase the resolution to match your phone and maybe increase the bitrate quality a bit higer. Looks great on my epic, I followed a guide written for the evo so should be good to go.

Any particular reason you do that? The Epic has plenty of internal storage space right? So why go through the conversion step?
Unless I'm mistaken I thought the Epic had 16gb.

when you can take a 4gb file down to 700 to 900mb without losing much (if any) quality I'd venture to say that that would be more of said files in same amount of space that one file would've resided in

similar issue when the droid x came out, you can play your own content and even avi but you cant play DRM content. i think droid x had an app that got around this restriction but it required root.
sounds good. if anyone could find that app and/or find me a way around it that would be great. when i did some searching i found similar problems but i didn't find any good solutions. thanks for your help everyone.

If you have any movies converted from DVD they play fine. So far the only movie I could not get to display through the HDMI out was the movie I purchased from the Media Hub.. Thankfully I used my credit and not my real money. I usually rip my DVDs to my comp so that I can have backups when my discs gets damaged and those play just fine through the HDMI output.
Same reason as if I buy cod for the xbox I can't demand the ps3 version free

Mediahub sucks. I rented a movie and the first phone was a dud, it wouldn't play any video. I took it back and the 2nd phone rocks. Went to play the movie (I still had 25 days to view it) and it still wouldn't play. I contacted Mediahub and the guy said it was because their license to use that movie had expired. They are refunding the money, but I lost the verizon number I was supposed to call. Oh well, it wan't my money, and when I took the other phone back they gave me another $25 card. So I ended up coming out ahead anyways.

What an odd and old bump, but yeah, if you legally bought it on MediaHub, may as well download it on your PC and place it on SD card and enjoy. I hate DRM, it only screws the paying customer, not the thief.

problem is that there is not a program that can convert or play pyv files on anywhere except for Samsung Media Hub.
I did read from someone that had Gummy Charge ROM for the Charge that he was able to bypass this block (same block exits for blockbuster, netflix, and NFL app). however, it works just fine on crackle, the watchESPN app, and youtube.
so clearly, it is something within the app itself, and I'm not sure if the gummy team was able to bypass (whether it be intentional or by accident) via build.prop edits or whatnot.
I would really like to know though...

You are right it is their fault, . They could put it in with the Odin restore file because you OWN the phone meaning you OWN the movie. I bought a few movies from the play store and I can format the device all I want and still download the movie because I OWN it. Amazing concept I guess right
Since this thread is on the Inception topic, does anyone know a player that can play the movie, or a way to convert it to a watchable format on PC/Android? Ever since flashing to a custom ROM (first Octane, now AOKP), I haven't been able to find a player that will play it, so I just removed it from my SD card. If there's a way to pull, I'll copy it off my sister's phone.

No its your fault for not making a backup. You never owned the movie you had a free copy that was part of your phone. T-Mo and Samsung are not required to supply the movie that came on the sdcard not the rom itself. Everything they include in a rom is available within a tarball. If it is not included then its not something they are responsible for. When I bought my phone the shortcut for the movie was on my homescreen but no where on the sdcard.
The company responsible for providing the movie is the movie studio. So they are who you should be bugging and complaining to.
So has my phone I bough already unlocked and the sdcard didn't have the inception movie ......the funny part its that I was newbie in android stuff and the xperia play was already available and I just bough the phone because I was thinking "oh yeah free movie and it looks cool" then when I charged the phone first thing I did is click the movie icon but then it said file not found my first reaction was "FUUUUUUUUUUUU" lol
