I have downloaded an app from the market that i uninstalled. Now i want to reinstall it, is there a directory folder that still has the file in i? I have file explorer.
No...what I do is after every app I download I back it up in titanium backup so I never lose it.

That's fine for those with root, but I have a feeling our OP does not.
OP, why not just go back on market and re-download the app?

Just download it from the market again........ that is presuming you have actually paid for it. If not use astro or root explorer to make a backup of the .apk that's how I make backups of all my apps, saves downloading them everytime I mess up my phone or decide to change ROM.

Yes i did pay for it haha What folder do the market apps download to?
Edit: nevermind i found it
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997R using XDA Premium App
Download astro file manager open it, press menu choose tools and then app backup........ backup the apps you want to keep and they will appear in a backup folder on your SD card, install the new ROM then reinstall all the backed up apps. Or you could use titanium backup to save your data too.

If you want the old market just install this normal and you have to be rooted. Everybody thank rdubyah

Apps belong in the app section. But anyways, won't your phone auto update to the new market again?

One can freeze Market Updater with Titanium Backup and it will never auto update the market version. This does not affect downloaded apps updating.

Does anyone know of a backup app which will backup then restore all of my apps without having the install window popup for each one. I currently have titanium backup installed, but it is very tedious having to hit install for my 100+ apps.

Buy the pro version of titanium backup. Notice how the free version doesnt have hypershell enabled? Thats what you want, right there.

I was never prompted to create an account when I downloaded titanium backup. How does it work when I wipe and flash a new a rom? Or get a new device?
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda app-developers app
It saves the apk & data on a file on your sd. Just put the backup in your new phone sd and tb will recognize it.
Cool thanks for the reply.

I just flashed a rom today. Went to the store downloaded titanium backup and it instantly started loading and restoring my apps. As long as you have titanium backup restored of course

It probably restored the data on the SD. Use a file explorer and try to paste and replace it in root.
You would have to find the file in the phone data I think. Can't rmb.

Well I did move it to SD card. Then I got a new SD card. Tried to see the files from my old card on my computer and was going to transfer them but there didn't seem to be anything on it important?? If that makes sense. And in titanium backup I had all my user apps on SD card buut nothing showed on my computer.

Hi.
Can I make a backup of WiFi settings - passwords from one Rom and restore them to another?
I used to have problems backing system data up from different ROMs. But you can try it, should be under backup system data in TiBu. WiFi settings maybe?

OP/Pics link here -- http://phandroid.com/2013/06/27/and...leaked-new-camera-app-available-for-download/
If you needed any further proof that Android 4.3 was, in fact, real and headed to Android devices in the very near future, look no further than the leaked screenshots nabbed by SamMobile. What you’re looking at is test build of Android 4.3 (JWR66N) for the Galaxy S4 Google Play edition, running on a regular ‘ol Galaxy S4.
While we don’t know specifics involving the exact changes from 4.2.2. to 4.3, it’s said we could finally see Bluetooth improvements, as well as that new fangled camera application currently found on the Google Play edition HTC One and GS4 running 4.2.2. When it comes to the camera, that can already be downloaded/sideloaded onto your device like any other app. Works without a hitch on most devices.
Download here-- http://www.mediafire.com/download/8tu1o85d21a61i7/camera.google.play.edition.apk
Instructions to install:
1. Download the camera.apk
2. Use a file explorer using root(example root explorer)
3. Copy and paste or move this apk in ur system/app
4. Reboot
5. Walla!
