[Q] Processor for Sensation

I just want to ask a simple question, which is the processor for the Z710e:
MSM 8260 1.2GHz dual core
or
MSM 8660 1.5GHz dual core???
I'm a bit confused because the Android Revolution ROM changed the processor data in the about phone into 86660...

MSM 8260 underclocked to 1.2GHz

So, the processor is MSM 8260 which is supposed to be clocked at 1.5GHz??

1.5GHz is the nativ speed but HTC underclocked it for the Sensation - probably knowing they could use the same chip in another model in the future

So if i got this right, the sensation XE and the sensation have the exact same processesor?

[Q] Xperia Arc or Optimus Black P970?

Hi guys,
I'm looking to buy an Android phone and have narrowed it down to these two phones. There doesn't seem to be much between them in the specs. Are there any good/bad points worth knowing about either phone that might help me decide?
I intend to root and probably install CFW, both seem quite well supported in that regard. Is there much difference between the processors?..
Optimus Black - 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor, PowerVR SGX530 GPU, TI OMAP 3630 chipset
Xperia Arc - 1GHz Scorpion processor, Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon

i just wanna ask how would i know which 1 is sensation and sensation 4G..because sensation 4G 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, Adreno 220 GPU...sensation din have Adreno 220 GPU.....can anyone help me where to check through the phone?

Both the Sensations have the same CPU and GPU, the Adreno 220, but one has a 4G radio. I guess it depends on where you live as to which one you would need to buy...

What is The Best 4" Android Phone?

Hi..
What is the best 4" Android phone in the market? I used to use Galaxy Nexus but that phone is HUGE!
So I am looking for a beast performance phone with 4" or 3.7" screen and ICS on it.

Lava XOLO X900 but it is available in India Only

Don't know the best on the market now, but my friend has a HTC Incredible S and that on is 4". The processor is 1 Ghz, but instead of standard 512 mb ram, this one has 768 mb ram instead.
If you were willing to go a bit bigger, like 4.3" display, then the HTC One S. 1 gb ram and 1.5 Ghz dual core processor.
These are the only ones I can think about, and both has got official ICS.

Go for a 4.3" and I'll recommend the HTC One S.

If you really need it to be exactly 4", then I would suggest the LG Optimus 2X (or G2X).

+1. I'm in search for the best 4" (exactly) as well. 8mp, dual core and the cheapest in its class.

[Q] Flashing tabs with different roms

hello guys
I have a tablet (Wammy Desire from wickedleaks) with
Chipset : Rockchip 3066
Processor : CortexA9 1.6GHz (displays 1.4)
Ram : 1GB DDR3
GPU : Mali400 MP4
and there's a other device (Archos 70 Titanium ) with the same specifications
(you can view their specs on their respective sites)
Both are the same
but the position of the camera ,speaker and buttons are different
can i use the Archos 70 firmware on the wammy desire ???

Just Because the Specs are the same Doesent Mean anything. there are many probles with trying to flash another Tabs roms to Yours, you will brick your Tablet if you flash the rom. if it was the same company who maid it that might be a little different. every so and so people make converts. HTC Desire HD and the HTC inspire 4g are the same phone the only difference is the desire is from europe and the inspire from america, theres a file you are able to flash that lets you flash htc desire roms on the inspire (backwards compatable). unless you have a friend who has both tablets and will take the time to make a converter. Good luck
