[ROM]Damaged_BURST.v3.FINAL

hello everyone. heres another one of those crazy things i do here. this time i built on damage so i could use dconfig again. I had the idea to put this together when i saw koni's transparent mod,then the aosp zip and burst's theme. This is mish mash of all of that work+ some of what i do. since its built on damage and the biggest add on to theme was burst's theme. But while i was ripping them apart i realized that the aosp theme was basically using the same framework as burst with a few tweaks. Then got it to boot. I did have some serious issues with the kbs and the notifier but i learned what i was doing and fixed it then decided to post...Didnt take as long to finish this(about a day), because i didnt do ALL the themeing. I just found it and mixed it all together with some of my own tweaks added in both visually and performance wise.
HERES WHY YOU SHOULD FLASH:

dconfig for tweaking(thank treve)

battery widget (to monitor battery%)

left the sprint apps for once....
sorry all, i forgot to toss the nextel tikl in(ill toss up an update.zip with it)
i didnt throw in all the extra crap this time so this rom is a normal size(170mb)

I'm pretty sure it does, it slides corresponding to the screen you swipe to.

That's unfortunate. I love the look of the ROM otherwise.

Sorry to be the debbie downer but I think it looks garbage. :/ A bunch of poorly done photoshop filters slapped into a single rom. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

i must say this looks better than the previous RED theme.

so do I flash this by itself? or do I flash it over DamageControl's ROM??

i flashed this and the screen does not look like those pictures on post one. the taskbar is white with white fonts so the time is invisible.

if anything you should be downloading the rom and then ripping it apart and learning how to do what i do. Then MAYBE ill have a little respect for your opinion and what you have to say about me or my work.I am not a dev nor to i claim to be.it is your choice to choose this rom. so what was your reason?
your right; those 1000+photos did take me some time to filter EACH INDIVIDUAL FILE,then integrate the two themes and add konis transparent taskbar(took me a bit) then make it all boot. ive not had bootloop with neither of my mods so far on evo.had it all the time on cdma hero

I hope not cus thats version 1 or 2 and i didnt ul either of those betas. ill double check the link and upload my personal that i just flashed 8hrs ago. So far it performs well w/o configuring dconfig. im on 70% battery after heavy use.not sure if thats good or bad. Its acceptable to me, but not remarkable like damager.FYI​

Had a lot of problems, lots pf FCs and random system restarts.....

i havent had any fc's yet. please list your procedure so i can see what the problem is. i test everything extensively before i put it up for others. that would be very bad if i put up roms before i got them working then told pps i support them...

By any chance have you had luck with flash in the browsers? I'm currently using your finisher rom but would love to switch to this one, however if the flash issues still stand I'll try a different one for the mean time. Looks great BTW.

wasnt sure if i was just crazy, but i posted this in my finisher thread as a bug i found 3days after running it. When i went use a site that needed full flash(shockwave) adobe test said my sware was 10.blablabla and that it installed correctly. well i used my site and tried to use a java music player and when it goes to play, browser dissappears (no fc just gone) It worked fine before, but i thought maybe i was mistaken. no one responded so i figured it was just a problem for me. I NEVER edited anything with the wlan-ko, the browser or anything internet releated, so i cant narrow down the problem. Also, this is a damage based so not sure whats going on with this issue. if i find anything ill definately pm you. if you hear anything ill ask you do the same. thanks.

did you flash the rom? if not please refer to ops. i am not a dev,instructor,or teacher. i am a tinkerer that ul's his roms so that anyone else like himself can have the same. I personally dont care if you ever read another word i type. cant really understand why you think your voice or opinion is SO valuable, or why you are any different from any of the other 20million haters out there. I cant see the "mod" title under your user name, so im pretty sure im completely safe in completely ignoring any outlandish,whiny requests you may have. Whops, only supports CM7 and normal battery indication with added percentage, not segmented. I was hopeful when I saw some of the other styles, but they don't apply to SNS/MoDaCo.

Did MoDaCo deodex the ROM?
If so, you could probably edit in the battery mod you're looking for. It involves editing the frameworks file. It's not a trivial task, but not overly complicated either. I had trouble my first few tries on the i9000, but got it down eventually. There's plenty of guides here in other forum sections on how to make your own mod.

I've edited battery images for MoDaCo battery icons. You just have to be sure you're exchanging images one for one.

That won't help then. For the segmented circle ones you need over a hundred images. If MoDaCo's using the stock battery indicators, there's not that many.

[Q] Why is my battery logo on the background of my searchbar in the android market?

Well since i'm new and i can't post reply's in the ROM-thread yet, i'll post it here
Yesterday i flashed my Sensation to the InsertCoin 2.2.2 (Android 2.3.4) from Baadnewz. (off-topic: Awesome ROM mate, really smooth, incredibly fast and allot of options!!! i would recommend it to anyone planning to flash and root their Sensation.)
There is, however, one little problem i've encountered:
On top of the ROM i flashed an alternative battery logo wich shows percentage indication of the battery in the upper screen bar. Downloaded it from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1201255
The Honeycomb Style Battery with percentage while charging that is.
Now this also works fine, but after flashing it the Android Market Searchbar doesn't look like a searchbar anymore. It looks like a stretched version of my battery indicator logo... (i attached the screenshots below, sry for the poor quality.. don't have a creditcard so couldn't buy the full version)
Anyone familiar with this problem, or does someone know a solution???

in android-sdk/tools there is ddms.bat, run it with phone connected, then under Device->Scren capture menu there's a tool to take Screenshots for free

The battery mod you flashed is not made for 2.3.4 roms. I had the same problem yesterday. You will have to either deal with it or do without the battery mod you flashed.

yes it has to b like that mate...coz with sensation roms many changes have taken place even from 2.3.3 to 2.3.4....Batt mods are changed by playing with framework-res file...which is mostly rom specific for looks and feel... so u need ur rom framework and batt image files to make it work correctlt...or visit my thread

Offtopic: I see you're using a task killer. You're only hurting your battery life and making the phone slower.

Yeah, you're probably using my mod, which until today, was not available or working for 2.3.4 roms. I have posted the one you're using in a 2.3.4 version, so if you go HERE then you'll be able to download the Honeycomb version for a 2.3.4 ROM, and it should work fine. Let me know if it doesn't.

tnx for offering to make me a mod! i'll try out the 2.3.4 version of the Honeycomb mod first, but i will keep your method in mind if it doesn't work!

Ok Im relativly new to Droid and so far I really like it I have put a few roms on my phone and have flashed a few themes and all... I know there is a thread on battery icons and all for the stock xe, I like it cause it shows the battery percent in the stock icons so no need for an app or widget... The one that I can download and flash on here I have done that but I HATE the way it looks it looks way off to me compared the the ROM that I had it on... Can anyone tell me generally how to extract the Battery Icons from a custom ROM or if you can do it for me I would greatly appreciate it... Its the CoreDroid rom I love the battery indacator from just the display to the way it charges and still displays the percentage... Thanks in advance... This is strictly for personal use also It will not show up in any theme as I have yet to make my own

How do you remove the battery percentage mod from roms? I don't understand why they would always put this awful thing in custom roms without the option of removing it? Not everyone wants this thing.

Ok, I get it, wrong place.... but, I sooo fully agree with you! I LOATH the "circle battery" ... why isn't there on/off buttons for things like these? There are GREAT roms ill never try because it has big purple flashing stars for the notification area... when I just want something classy and simple.. I'm a business man for goodness sake, not a teenager.

Whoops! Read it wrong! Nope... I need a percentage ...

Circle battery status sucks, classic battery with % is the best option.
