Has anyone tried this found it on dream forums
have installed and works but need genius to set it as defauls etc

sorry was more meaning to set it into the Heron rom.
The other forum for Dream someone has stripped rosie and standard launcher out and added this in.
I was thinking that as this would likely allow a real Rosie feel and indeed some more benefits, is it not possible that the hero rom could run a lot faster.
we would then have all the benefits of hero plus the feel of rosie plus the gestures.
Hope that explains my need for a genius

What seems to be happening for you.
I am using back hero rom and just used the adb install command to put both the widget and the open gesture.
is that what you did.
I have a feeling that you might not be able to do it with other launcher in as this isnt on the rom I am using
hope that helps because this wroks a charm real fast.
Just need the help of a Dev

actually i tried to install the open gesture twice as i thought i had the widget installed. its all on now and looks great. transform the french 2.4 rom which is by far the most stable here. looks like hero with android base. i am happy now. just wish it would let me install weather widget so i get the weather too. obviously the clock is all for looks as it dont update time but hey it looks good but the clock has to go

Time updates for me.
I was thinking that someone has made a HTC widget to work in the clock so surely they can do the same with Weather etc.
Time might update for me and not you as I am running Hero rom by jepeara
I agree is weather could be done and maybe calender then who need rosie I think this might be better .
I have no lag and flash player and sense ui for multi touch.
Problem solved just need a dev to help pt it all together becuse this is fast absolutely no lag on a hero rom and looks like rosie
Come on Devs help me out here I cant do what you guys can but it has to be worth a look

ah i wuill flash hero v1.4 and disable touchflo and add this app......... nice replacement mate you are right. hero v1.4 is much quicker when home is enabled and not touchflo. now i can use hero rom without losing the looks and speed!

Can you report back how it performs I am using the stripped down version of hero not fatalitys version 1.4 so would be really keen to fine out how it performs.
Just thought I would run it on one rom for a period of time due to degreding performance issues seen on hero roms in the past.

i love that fatal1ty hero rom but 1.4 is just too slow and battery hungry. 1.2 is still better than 1.4 in my opinion as more time was spent getting it right. will try it on 1.2 now

right i installed this over fatal1ty hero v1.4 and disabled touchflo to get google base which works rather well. i enable the open gesture home replacement and widget and i now have all i asked for............ a hero rom with speed and stability not compromised! been using for hours now and its swank! hope some of the chefs can incorporate this into one of their builds. google home with hero look this defo is! very good find friend!
edit: looks like the powers that be have done it again. closed access to the page where the downloads were. says no access! don't know why? hate it when that happens.

Does this work on a standard Rom? What does this do exactly? Multi touch in browser?

it allows you to makes gestures on screen to launch programs or contacts by the pattern you draw on screen.
No Idea why download stopped by this in a rom would be fine.....

right i woke up this morning to find my battery totally flat after fully charging prior to settling in for the night bout 12. i did diasble geotag in widget setup after install. something ate my battery throughout the night so i think the base that is used for this is of out most importance. i am now charging my phone after the initial panic of thinking it was dead.......... back on spfrance and will stay there from as he is incoporated the clock without using this app!

i am getting no issues at all battery still half full no charge since installing yesterday morning.

so i guess it must be something in rom
oh and I have a colleague who has it installed over NK02's ion rom and he has no issues either

ya i agree. i installed it over fatal1ty v1.4 which is a battery hog anyway. anyway it works so thats the main thing. clocks starts updating after boot

That depends,
I was commenting on how it works with Roms and the developement of, and how a program like this could be used as home in a hero rom to try and improve it.
so in my opinion No but each to their own

Still running really smooth have now tried on 2 hero versions if only I could strip rosie out think this would be a good alternative

Theme Ported to 2.1 Request

Hello,
I am running PureHero with android 2.1 and I came across this gChrome theme that is only compatible with 1.5 and I was wondering if there is any chance of getting it ported over to 2.1?
I am a new user so I cannot post the link to the theme but it can be easily found by searching Google for "Download gChrome (Beta version 0.2) Theme for Android Phone".
If not, if you know of a similar theme or even something AOSP-ish with the grey and green notification bar icons that I could flash I would appreciate any help.

PureHero is Sense based and gChrome is AOSP. Its not worth the effort to port it to PureHero with all the wonderful AOSP-ness we have here for our Heros.

Ah ok, I didn't realize Purehero was sense-based. I am sorry, I'm new at this. I just rooted a few days ago. I wanted AOSP but I heard that Purehero was really great on battery life and it was fast.
I also looked for an AOSP for 2.1 that had everything working but couldn't find one. If any of you know of a better ROM for what I am looking for any help would be appreciated but otherwise thank you for your help!

If you want AOSP 2.1 then you need/want/should already be using DarchDroid 2.7. Its the only true 2.1 AOSP ROM we have, and is complete and badass.

I personally get 12hrs of heavy usage every day. which is pretty good. I've heard people get like 30hrs with light usage.

ya battery life on any rom depends on alot of factors.. but have to say DD gives me the best batt life around... even on the stock batt.. when using my siedio 3500 mAh this thing never dies.lol..
I cant seem to go back to a sense rom after using DD for a few weeks.. awesome fast..do miss a few htc widgets and such but plenty of other programs to replace them i dont even think bout anymore.. cant wait for froyo to be complete..

That's more then likely the reason Paul hasn't posted it here yet.

I am running this Rom for few hours. This is the first and only 2.2 sense Rom I have tried. Been using defrost for close to month now.
I have pretty sensitive ears. Is it only me who is noticing definite change in the audio output with this compared to other vanilla froyo roms. The output is louder, bass is tighter and has more punch with my nuforce ne6 than vanilla roms. I can swear there is noticeable difference here.

So I had the application 20minutes.fr
Since I am in ROM MoDaCo I can't find the application in the Market.
Is it removed from market? Or is it the ROM MoDaCo prohibiting the download of some applications on the Market?

I really like the theme for the most part but wish you could get rid of all the green and replace with the neon blue. Also while I'm making demands could you add some transparency to all of the widgets, now. Just kidding, great work and will be keeping an eye on this to see where you take it.

I haven't tried to flash it over the nightly builds. You may be able to flash it over the nightly builds but, I doubt you'll have all the same features working. Backup and give it a try.

Sorry, I will not be updating this theme at all. You can try looking for a 3rd party app that does that.

Figured out how to add the percentage in the battery, nice add. Question though: How can Adrynalyn's Second Wave ROM with Sense use LESS battery than this one without Sense? Generally after a work day's usage with the Second Wave ROM my battery was between 80%-84% now after using this ROM it is between 60% and 65%? Just curious if it needs a different kernel or something.

I dig this theme. I'm having one issue though: every time I try to change volumes in settings, it FCs. Anyone else have this problem?

im really diggin this theme its really colorful lol. i did notice that when your getting an incoming call the slider for answering calls is a little off the screen on the left. is that normal? or is it a bug?

oh and i have adw on with the droid x theme do you think thats affecting it?

Ok Im relativly new to Droid and so far I really like it I have put a few roms on my phone and have flashed a few themes and all... I know there is a thread on battery icons and all for the stock xe, I like it cause it shows the battery percent in the stock icons so no need for an app or widget... The one that I can download and flash on here I have done that but I HATE the way it looks it looks way off to me compared the the ROM that I had it on... Can anyone tell me generally how to extract the Battery Icons from a custom ROM or if you can do it for me I would greatly appreciate it... Its the CoreDroid rom I love the battery indacator from just the display to the way it charges and still displays the percentage... Thanks in advance... This is strictly for personal use also It will not show up in any theme as I have yet to make my own
