Depending on where you bought your phone, they'll sometimes price match if the price fluctuates greatly within X days.
I think at Best Buy it is within 14 days. I went back with receipt and received $60 back on some blu-ray player once.

Well worth it imo. Dual core phones I fear will kill a battery. I loved my fascinate but was disappointed by the lack of a front facing camera and 4g. Of course with the rumors of capped data... I'll bite the bullet on this one.

Definitely true. Unlimited 4G data is awesome. I cant imagine capped. I used more than 20gb of data already this month.

Insane. I finally made my decision to commit to AT&T over Verizon and they do something like this. It doesn't help that I'm incredibly unimpressed with AT&T's slow as molasses LTE roll out and that I live in-between two LTE cities and that it's confirmed you can switch LTE SIM's in and out. Way to make it hard for me again.

Yea, AT&T is definitely slow. Their service is terrible around my house, which is why I switched to Verizon.

Well, I had the TB originally. And comparing the Charge with the TB, they really are two different things. Yes, TB hardware is better on paper, but its heavy, I found battery life much wors (compared to Charge), and it also felt sluggish. Now, mind you I didn't mod it much beyond rooting it; no roms or anything.
I like my Charge a lot more than the TB. Battery life, imho, is better by 2-5 hours depending on use. Its light, and I find the LTE more stable.
Overall, Verizon is great at my home. I still carry an AT&T number on my SGS2, but recption is horrendous.

Lol. I dunno, no predictive text, no spell check, and you have to press each button deliberately. Kinda slows down the texting. Not to mention the 305 incoming text capacity. lol.

Just checked them. The 8100 wont charge. It might be my charger, it might be the port. So, that ones out. Besides poor battery life from the other two, nothing. The BB is probably the most functional of them besides my enV3 which works as it did when it was brand new. lol.

I can usually get from 8-16 hours from the thunderbolt on the standard battery, depending on use of course. I am sitting in wifi mostly, running das Bamf 1.8.6 right now. Over the weekend, I got 28 hours on a single charge on 3G, but I didn't use it much at all - just emails, a few websites but there was about an hour of pandora in there.
If you're interested in rooting/ROMing, I think the TB is definitely the best choice
I thought the Samsung phone was pretty good. Ofcourse I am not sure if it is worth the extra money, it probably sells for more than TB.

I was wondering the same thing. Hardware wise the charge is superior but developer wise the thunderbolt has more support. I bought my tbolt used in like new condition for $350. The price jacked up once the tiered data plans were leaked. At $175 check to make sure the esn is clean and then go for it!

I am getting it just in case they say u can't be grandfathered in for the 4g. I don't even have 4g here but 4g is the future and I only pay 10 for unlimited ( I got this crazy promotional deal last November) n I don't wanna lose it when I do get 4g around here.
I have to say I'm impressed with the Thunderbolt, and I'm not an Android guy. Well Im totally an Android guy, now. If I had gotten any other phone available currently, I would have passed it off in a week.
The thunderbolt's quality combined with developer support and the online community just form a smartphone-holy trinity.
I have an iPad 2, iPad, iPhone 4, and Thunderbolt. The short battery life the first three days was a con. Then I started customizing my settings, and about 3 hours after ordering an extended battery I realized "Oh ****, I've been pushing this dude pretty hard for 10 hours."
Needless to say, I only use it when I'm going to be out all night and she's pretty enough that I may not charge it first thing in the morning.
Rooted Thunderbolt on BAMF Sense 3.0 RC 4 with MR2 radio and latest dreamKernel.
By the way, I see you're in Queens. I work in Long Island City and get great 4g speeds. About 25 down and 5 up.

you keep unlimited as long as you keep your plan (3g/4g doesn't make a difference), they have said that as long as you are unlimited with smartphone data, you are good (according to engadget). If you change your base plan in any way, then you will lose the unlimited data.
Thunderbolt is a great phone with minor hiccups stock. Charge has better battery life and a better screen. Thunderbolt has a lot better dev support as do most htc products. Thunderbolt comes with 40gb total memory, not sure about the Charge.
Every Charge I've played with has just dragged. I attribute it to the way Samsung distributed the ram. Their battery life sucks too. I can get 2 days out of my TB. I've used a Charge that regularly loses 40% in 3 hours.

I love my thunderbolt. I bought it used for $350 went to verizon to activate told him it was used and he asked if I wanted insurance. I said sure. Had an issue that was within 14 days of purchase and they gave me a new in box. Yeah I know people will ***** I screwed verizon but people have a job and should be trained. Since I have had no problems, love the Roms put out and 4g is great.
I can't believe that nobody had mentioned that the.TB is the only verizon phone with voice and simultaneous data thanks to its dual antennas.

Here are a couple of potential cons. #1 is the phone sound quality. I personally don't find it that great, and to me Verizon iPhone (my wife has one) sounds better. I thought the phone amp was such a basic part that it should never be an issue, but surprisingly it is an issue for me. #2 is the 4g battery drain bug. The good thing is that not everyone has it, and I hope MR2 radio finally fixes it (testing that right now). Other than that it has been a great phone for me, and I am definitely enjoying the dev support, thanks to the devs and people offering help on this forum!

Yeah, you just missed the unlimited data Agreed, Verizon is a great network, but I think all large companies' customer service is useless. We have our fair share of good phones, like the DX, and the soon to be Bionic. And there's nothing we can do about the bloatware... Let's Golf 2 is taking up ~100mb of my internal memory

Doubt it, wouldn't hurt to try though. Make sure to download watchdog or use some data managing app so you make sure you don't go over!

I hate sprint, slow internet, not the best service, but if your someone that uses alot of data, you might as well go with them now. One thing I do give sprint is that they have the best phones.

I got mine at the end of June from Costco(to get locked in the unlimited data) for $179.99. Came with the 2 year warranty, a couple of crappy screen protectors & a leather case belt clip that covered my headphone jack so I couldn't listen to music while using it. I feel kind of ripped off lol.

same here... I missed out on a job opportunity because of that damn missed call problem on the Fascinate so I took the option to switch out

Paid about $250 once all said and done. ($200 for Droid X2 when signed contract, paid 500 for Charge on eBay, and sold X2 for $450) Was cheaper than taking the X2 back, paying the restocking, and then paying 300 for the Charge.

I never had a Fascinate(stuck with my enV Touch for the full 2 years, lord I hated that phone), how exactly would you replace it? Do you just mail your phone in to Sammy and they send you a Charge? Not sure how that would work.

No there were major hardware/software issues with the Fascinate like missed calls/voicemails with no notification, horrible GPS, spotty reception and the like that weren't being fixed or at least there was no ETA on a fix or update... I guess the uproar from the Fascinate community made VZ adopt a temporary policy to trade in the Fascinate for a 'similar' different phone, choices being the Inc2, DX2, and Charge

They stopped that after a recent OTA "fixed" all the issues. My friend says her Fassy still sucks though.

They said at Costco that it was no problem because they return phones for up to 90 days and something better should be out by then. I only have about one month left before the return period is over... And nothing is out -_-;

Bionic is expected to come out in about 2 weeks. Aside from the Prime that's the best it's gonna get. Thing is, it's a Motorola phone so chances are it's going to have a locked bootloader meaning development isn't going to be great.

Can be ok to VERY good in my testing, definitely the best battery for the money (even more so at that price!) I still want to talk to them about calling them 3500mAh batteries but they still offer ALOT for the money

They wouldn't care i'm sure their just like everything else there pro rated.
Just like HDD's, SD's, Batteries, Etc...

I don't mind if they're off a little, I'd just call them maybe 2000-2200mAh to be closer to what they *often* are and still sell them at the same price. The same people are going to buy them either way and in my experience they've accomplished about that average of capacity. (I'd love if they all achieved 2600mAh like my dad's golden Generic does)

thats more of a soso, because they see a big battery and see "3500", if it said 2000 they stop and stare to the fact that "hey maybe the 1800 would do just as good" as it is an OEM and slimmer.

I guess so... but it still offers a far better value, it's just twice as thick for slightly better to noticeably better capacity at almost 1/3 the price
