Hey everyone, I am using the SuperAOSP rom at the moment and I am using the notification bar toggle with the sound toggle. The options for the sound toggle are vibrate, sound, sound+vibrate and completely silent. Vibrate, sound+vibrate and completely silent works properly but sound does not. When I choose the just sound toggle the phone still ends up vibrating. This happened with me when I was using CM7 too and I have tried various settings but cannot find a solution. Can anyone help me fixing this problem?
Thanks.

I have disabled all type of vibratory settings in my sensation but somehow whenever my data connection gets disconnected the notification comes with vibration and sometimes it happens in quick succession which is very annoying.
can anybody help in disabling this vibratory notification. this is the only notification that vibrates all others are fine. by the way i have a rooted device but with stock rom.
In settings/sound you can disable the vibration. Have you tried that?
i have unchecked all vibrate options like in sound settings, feedback and even in settings of received and sent message options
hi people, when i unlink the ringer and notification sounds as soon as i leave the menu and go back the notification volume slider has gone so i cant adjust it....does anybody no of a fix for this or is it just a jellybean bug? Thanks.
Running rooted stock ICS on this one. Notifications from the stock SMS messenger worked fine - phone will vibrate.
When I get a notification from either Textra or Kik, it won't vibrate. If I have sound on, I will get the notification sound (and vibration, since I have "sound and vibration" checked), and get the notification icon in the tray, so clearly it's *getting* the notification, it's just not vibrating when in "Vibrate" mode. Have already checked the Sound settings - vibration intensity for notification is all the way up. I'm stumped.
My notification sounds won't work
My phone will not notify me if i get a text. This started happening when I changed themes. Now I can't get the notification sound back. Please help.
Anybody has an idea? I use Cyanogen mod 12.0.1
Check Settings>Sounds & Notifications.
Notification Volume might be 0 or Notification Tone is None
Checked. It was good.
Does the notification sound work for any other application?
I have an OPO 3 and I was wondering if there's a possibility to turn off the notification sound for all app, but I would like to retain ringtone sound as well as vibration.
Normally on Samsung S6, there's a possibility to do this when you press the volume rocker key.
I am rooted and have Xposed installed. I tried Ringer & Notification Volume unlink xposed module but that doesn't seem to work.
This is something that I am missing very badly, its tragic that google didn't encompass this feature by default.
Is there an alternate solution? I do not want to disable it per app basis but rather on the system level.

Put notification slider in priority mode and configure only calls in slider priority mode menu. They will shut up all notifications except calls.

Well that does the work but it also switches off the vibration. I want vibration for notification and calls to be enabled.
I don't know how then. Try custom slider mod from @weaton. It's very useful but i don't know if there's present this feature.
The way I do it is, to set notification tone to "none"
at a system level.
