I use Battery Indicator FREE (by Darshan Computing), it displays a little battery in the Notification bar and when you swipe it down, it shows battery Health, Temp and Voltage. Also tells you how long its been unplugged from charger.
I don't have any battery drain issues.
If you are eating up your battery, try JuiceDefender FREE version (by Latedroid). I have found even on default settings, my battery life is 1.5x or more than stock.
Both of these apps are in the Market.
Have fun!!

Viz battery. Its free from market has battery status and usage plus toggles for wifi and bluetooth

How long has your extended battery been taking to charge?

Mine has been taking 6.5 hours from when the battery was completely dead. Is this normal? I understand it may take longer than standard battery because of its superior capacity. Battery has been working great though, but should I return it?
My extended battery takes about the same when it is absolutely dead. One thing that I find odd though is that the last one percent (99-100) takes a long time. I wouldn't return it for that reason though.

do you guys have your phones rooted? i have DAS BAMF NTE 1.6.3 with advanced task killer and juice defender and sometimes my extended battery doesn't even last literally 12 hours which really pisses me off because the first day i used my extended battery (non rooted/ROMed) i literally got almost 2 full days of use. thoughts?

Task killer + auto kill = fail
Get rid of the task killer.

The auto kill eats up clock cycles for no reason. Turn it off and kill processes when needed.

Not really I just run bamf and make sure to only sync what I need. Brightness was on lowish most of the day.

I'm stock with ext. battery and have advanced task killer and can easily get 12+ hrs of actual usage before the batt is close to dead. Mine takes a long time to charge between 99 & 100% as well. I've also noticed that if you turn the phone off after getting to 100%, it seems to charge even more according to the led that goes from orange to green when fully charged.
When I charge mine in the car, sometimes it stays at 99% for a long time, (though I'm usually streaming music). But at home it charges pretty fast, never gets stuck at any percentage.
Oh and yes this is with the huge extended battery.
my goodness with these task killers! if google is banning certain apps from the market it should be all task killer apps.

App to monitor individual current use?

Hello,
I have been using a battery monitor to watch the overall current use of the sensation. I have noticed that at times, the phone is using a lot of current )over 600mAh!) I was wondering if there is an app that can show me EACH app's current use?
I am rooted, running setcpu. I have profiles set to supposedly underclock when the battery is low, temperature too high, or screen off. Sometimes I notice only 50mA of use with the screen off. Other times I notice 300mA with the screen off! WTF?
There are no apps running aside from the battery monitor app, and setcpu. I really need to know WHAT is using all that current? I also have live wallpapers. Could they really use that much? Still, id prefer to know which app/process is stealing from me.
Free or PAid, I dont care. Just need to know what is doing it.
Battery monitor widget is not correctly showing drainage usage. There are no programs that I know of that are actually showing the right drainage

Looking for a good battery monitoring app or widget

I used current widget and was told reading wouldn't be accurate so I have switch to battery monitor app. And I came up with the dame readings...
I'm getting anywhere from 180-1100+ma drain on my batteries. Even on standby I'm looking at 100ma+
I have changed kernels, roms, superwiped, wiped bat stats. Tried different batteries. Something is wrong here. So if anyone has any compatible monitoring apps plz post a link. And i u have the same battery issues I have plz post Ur current setup.

Battery Monitor Widget Pro
I use Battery Monitor Pro as well on a LeeDroid ROM, standy uses 100-300, but battery has only dropped 8% in past 5 1/2 hours.
BatteryLife by CurveFish.
It also shows you the mV remaining in the battery which is the *real* indication of how much is left, not the %age the phone thinks it is.

Apparently current widget and battery monitor aren't giving true readings for our sensation. R u for sure battery life is compatible

Since Iam on adroid iam using Battery Monitor Pro, too.
It is doing a great job. But sometimes it gives u too much information
it is running on my dhd too
Try battery monitor pro
Any widgets or apps you run to monitor battery life will reduce your battery life by a small degree because it is using your phones resources.
I'd also recommend BATTERY MONITOR WIDGET (free) you can pay for PRO version.
But Ensure that in Settings->Monitoring->mA retrieval method = HTC Sensation.
It may well default to this, but I haven't got sensation so don't know.

I averaged around your measurement too, but sometimes it drop 2% each time, is it normal to be draining so much even on standby?
I use battery left . It uses your battstats file to guage how long you have left and gives you a percentage left as a widget.
It takes a few charge cycles on a new battstats to get accurate but it does the job great when it's calibrated.

Battery

How much battery do you guys usually get? Recently I've noticed a large drainage of battery and I know phone isn't too good with battery but even this doesn't seem normal. Some of my apps use 1-2% of battery per minute! Is this normal or not?

Oh and my battery never gets to 100%, the phone will tell me it has reached 100% but as soon as I unplug it, the battery is usually at 92-95%, also I use Juice Defender and it seems to help but not much..

generally my phone will last all day, but that is only when i rarely use it. when im using it a lot, for example if im playing games and listening to music, it lasts about half a day. but it all depends on how you use it. if you are using a lot of 3D apps, your battery will drain quickly
Mine lasts all day. I listen to local music and have push email hitting me most of the day. I might have to charge it at night if I use it a lot and I am up past midnight.

I think the Blaze battery is one of the best I've seen. I use my phone lots from 8am till 23:00 and it gets down to about 5%.
That's on Dark Knight ROM.
Sent from my SGH-T769
Odd ive got over a day on my battery with over 4 hours display time on my blaze with erikkm's darkknight rom with moderate use Lithium ion batteries have a memory and when you fully kill the battery it reduces its memory slightly, always always try to charge your phone before 30-20% and dont unplug your phone while its charging that can effect the battery memory as well.
