A friend suggested Pulse as a good tablet news reader. He uses it for Google Reader on his Nook. I have it installed and when I go to link it to my Reader account I just get the message in the screen grab below. I am connected to wifi when this happens, no VPN required, just a direct shot to the internet and all other web consuming things are working....
Anyone else seeing this behavior?
Thanks

Can't tell you how to fix it since I haven't experienced it, but there's also another good google reader app if you want to try it out, called Newsr. I like it better than Pulse because it feels less cluttered to me.
I kept getting that too and never found a solution. Now I'm using Feedly.

Just found this on the market and it is amazing. If, like me, you are suffering with the Wifi reconnect issues with your Nexus or seemingly any other phone, even rooted ones, this little App installs as a system tool that just sits memory resident, waiting to identify an issue and repair it. It uses about 8mb of RAM, so isn't a memory hog either. Check the reviews. All 5*. Never seen that before, so it has to be good.
I am not the dev. It's just a great find.
Sorry, new user so can't post link, but search market for "Blade Wifi Fix".

I've always found Wifi comes back on for me, but it doesn't stay on in standby, at some point it disconnects.
hello!
as you can see on the screenshot, there's something on my phone that posts this notification occasionally - i mean this is the second time in several days.

i checked with mcafee, AVG, Norton and nothing was found.
any ideas, what should I check or has anyone met with similar situation before?
Please fix the pictures, I can't see them. Use a photo sharing site, or attach it as a part of attachments.
there, sorry, i still haven't figured out dropbox yet
sorry to bother you with this, i figured out it was an app that pushed ads. uninstalled, problem solved.
And the app was? Always handy for if other users have similar issue......

I haven't used them a whole lot to be honest, but just today I was going to purchase the Adobe Kuler app. Useful for creating color schemes and such and was unable to find it. The link on Adobe's site took you to an empty Play Store link with nothing to be found. The link for Proto was still working, but doing a search you cannot find it. So If you happen to have any of these apps on a tablet, or purchased but not downloaded, I recommend doing that now in case they all disappear.
The *ONLY* Touch app continuing to be developed for Android will be Photoshop Touch.
I had a very short twitter conversation with them and as of today they said, only Photoshop touch will continue for Android.
Here's a screenie of the convo...

Can't seem to get tablet apps in the market. Seems like the market thinks the tablet is a phone. Anyone have luck otherwise?
Probably best to be specific about which applications you're looking for.
Sometimes a build.prop edit can help to get a particular application to show up in play (you can google this approach). Otherwise an alternative is to find the APK for the specific application and install it manually.
No it doesn't....

If there's an app you can't get, it's more likely the tablet's resolution is too high for the app. It's one of the first 2K tabs, that nonsense happened with 1080 for the Asus TF700T, too.
Thanks. I got it.
I thought I was going crazy for the longest time lol... there's a parrot image when I ask Google assistant to "repeat after me". It only shows up for a micro second but I finally captured it. Here's the weird thing - I can't find any posts or even reverse image search for this.
The reason I'm bringing this up is because I swear I saw a NEW hidden image of like a guy with glasses on, that again only appears for a micro second, usually after I've been charging my phone and swipe to access my apps. What is this? Can anyone shed some light on why there's hidden images?
For reference, I'm using a Oneplus7t. TIA
