[Q] Integrating windows live calendars

Following scenario: I have a Hotmail E-mail address which I have setup as ActiveSync on my Sensation. I obtain the calendar associated with that e-mail address on my phone and changes done on PC or phone sync well so far. Today I discovered that it is possible to create additional Live calendars and sahre them with other people (Didn't really use calendars before). So I went and created a calendar that I am now sharing with my girlfriend. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear on the Sensation, not even the events I create in that calendar on my PC appear. Is there any way to get this thing going? I don't want to use Google calendar...
Hotmail only syncs one calendar over ActiveSync so far as I know.

That's what I discovered - No way to get around this limitation?
Actually, I have already found two possible solutions, which are not perfect but do the job. If anybody knows a better way, please let me know.
1. Get "TouchDown" from the Market. Trial for 30 days, full costs quite a lot. App looks ugly but allows you to sync the calendar somehow. It does not work very good, but I managed to get my events into the app-internal calendar.
2. For my specific scenario, this is a very elegant solution:
Step 1: Get yourself an extra hotmail address.
Step 2: Share the default calendar of that address with yourself (i.e. your normal email address) and your GF.
Step 3: Add the extra hotmail account to your phone, and choose to only sync the calendar.
Now you will see two ActiveSync calendars in your calendar, one for your main email and the other for the new account you created. On your PC, you don't need the other e-mail because you're sharing the calendar with yourself. Almost perfect so far.

MobileMe???

Any way i can use MobileMe on android revolution?

AFAIK you cant use MobileMe with Android at all......since, ya know, its an apple product
You can try to set the email as a POP/IMAP email, but I'm pretty sure that's all you can do.
***Here's what a google search found....
A program called SpanningSync will continually sync MobileMe and Google. Very easy to use and works very well. I can make appointments on my ipad and it updates my android phone just a minute or two later.
I believe the program costs about $50 but you can also do a free 15 day trial.
Hope that helps.

Not really directly, but there it is possible if you are using a Mac (I don't use Windows, so not sure if there is any way to do this on a Windows box).
First, get K9 Mail for your email client. It's free and much better than the stock (non-Gmail) client. K9 works great with MobileMe including push email once it's properly set up.
For Calendar and Contacts, set iCal and Address Book to sync with Google Calendar and Google Contacts on your Mac. You have to do it on your Mac because as far as I know there's no way to set the web client to sync with Google services. Once you've done that, you can modify for calendar and contacts on either your phone or your Mac and they should stay in sync.
I don't use tasks or notes in either MobileMe or Google, so can't offer any wisdom on their use.
HTH.

It depends on what type of email server your .edu email use.
Ex. incoming: imap.mail.ucla.com port 443
Outgoing: smtp.mail.ucla.com port 25
You need to know the mail server details not just it is a .edu email.

Try Microsoft exchange, that's what mine have always used.

Yeah, try the Microsoft Exchange and the Google ones. Those are going to be your only 2 options. At my old college, we ran on Google's servers.
If you use the dedicated email app, you can just choose "others" and all ya have to do is enter your email and password.
If still no luck with those options you could possibly log into your school email from a computer and set it up to forward to another email that you do have working on the phone..
Good luck hope it helps..

[Q] Managing email

I am trying to set up the best handling of email-on PC and remotely on Android devices.
I am a long time user of Comcast for my email address, so I am hesitant about giving that address up. I primarily access my email from a PC and like to download and back it up (using Carbonite). I also like to set up folders to store and sort my email.
However, I would also like to be able to access my email from the Android devices, deleting, replying, sorting as I do on my PC and have the work done on one device sync with the other 2.
I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy S3 and just got the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014.
So, my question is: What is the best means of doing this, from the standpoint of best PC email client and best Android app? Is this possible with Comcast or would I be better off just transferring over to using my Gmail account?
Am I being to overly simple by suggesting that IMAP is exactly what you are looking for?
Maybe I'm missing something too, but Gmail (and most other web based e-mail services) allow you to retrieve e-mail from your preferred e-mail account and also let you use that account as your "sent from" e-mail address. As noted in the previous response, you should be able to accomplish this via IMAP. Just sign up for a web based e-mail service and follow the instructions for retrieving e-mail from other servers,

This is true. I have 3 different accounts mapped through Gmail. I can respond to each account as if it were coming from its native email.
