I am having some problems.
There is screen bleed. Not the worst but its not unoticable. Its some clear screen bleed.
My backlight buttons press automatically and touch screen presses automatically. Like someones using mY g2x when its plugged when the battery's full.
I thought the last problem was related to cm7 but I tried eagle blood and the same.
I phoned LG uk and the guy said send it back to the states to get it fixed under warranty otherwise we will rip you with charges. Should I call them again argue about LG is a international company and this is wrong? Help me!

nein, i've been lucky with both the phones that i've bot, 0 issues, and a minimal light bleed
both were from costco

Has anyone else run into this issue? Once in a while when I wake my phone, my homescreen appears for like half a second and then it will go to the lockscreen. It doesn't do this all the time but certainly more than half. It also happens using either stock or adw ex launcher. Can't think of why it would be doing this. Anyone got a fix or a reason as to why its even doing this?

Yup same. Slightly annoying. I think they will need to push out a software update soon to remedy some, if not all of the issues brought up by us early adopters. =)

yeah it does it here too but not quite sure why it bothers anyone it goes to lock screen faster than i can react after waking anyways. probably just a quicker freeze oif state when it goes to sleep than it should and doesnt have time to cahnge it over.
Its happen to mine as well. Funny thing is that I got my gf the sidekick 4g and it does the same thing

Happened on mine a couple times. Hasn't done it since the first couple hours I used it.
I have no problem like that. My wife doesn't.

My Vibrant running stock Froyo does exactly the same thing. Flashes the home screen for about 1 second then goes to the lock screen. Odd but not really a problem.
My phone does this as well.
Mine does the same but not every time which I think is even weirder. Its not a big deal at all though just surprising.

I dont know if im high or just going insane waiting for g2x roms to progress but ive noticed that the menu touch keys have 2 different shades.
The menu and back key are the same shade as eachother while the home and search buttons are the same as eachother. As a result, it forms an alternating pattern.
This isnt an issue report or anything, just a random observation that i just noticed out of the blue.

Im not rly looking for things i just suddenly noticed when i went to the hidden menu and chamged the menu key led brightness, thats when i noticed the difference. Could this be due to only 2 led's being used shared between 2 menu keys? Pretty weird

My fault. To you. I have the two shades as well. This is the replacement that Tmo sent me though. I don't believe it's the same on the first unit I had. I still have it and will check it out.

This has been happening since before I rooted my phone, but my phone literally vibrates when I'm talking to someone. It is as if the internal volume is too loud for the phone even while turned down...is this an infuse issue our just my phone? How would you even fix something like that?

Yes, this phone is fantastic!!! when it's working... Most of the complaints on this forum are stability issues, with the addition of some units have screen bleed.
My 2 phones have some instability that require battery removal. I don't get any "force close"; it's fast, it seamlessly handles many aps, the camera is great, it makes wifi calls and does wifi tethers (never done that myself). The list of greatness goes on. And then my wife pulls it out of her purse when she's on call and it is locked up (no screen, no key response) and has been locked up for how long? My 2 phones do this, and a guy at work here has a G2x that does this occasionally. I have began over a week ago restarting my 2 phones once a day, and haven't had a lock up since. A couple of reboots, but I can live with that.

I actually love my phone as well. Never have had the phone do any of the issues that people have spoken about. I do miss the camera app that was on the software before the OTA update, but that is minuscule.

Yep, I see that same issue, I think it may be the touch driver crashing, but haven't had the time/motivation to test and find out if that's the actual issue.
I have that problem constantly. Go to answer a call and discover that the touch screen is dead despite the screen being on.

I've had the same issue, and I reserched it and did a few test it is the touch drivers crashing due to a lack of memory the 2.2.1 default leaks memory like a sive so use a task manager or memory booster or flash a new rom lol you'll see it stop

Oh okay I just downloaded memory booster full from black market, I only had 15% memory free and just got this rom, it free up a lot of memory from leaks I'm gonna see if I have his problem now

Any amount of sweat/moisture and it didn't work properly, had phantom movements, etc. I put a screen protector on it and it's not so fidgity now, but my old G1 worked like a charm compared to this thing. I don't know why it's so bad... is this a different/cheaper/crappier touchscreen technology than the G1???

Did you turn the optical trackpad off? On mine it would always be going crazy when I took the phone outside on a bright sunny day.

I agree its not apple or microsoft, but do keep in mind that paid apps you don't have to buy and not buying an app and pirating it is like stealing from your locan mini mart it is open sorce not take what you want when you want an crook is a crook. Just like it isn't fair to charge you for "something to make your phone work" its not fair you take money out of a developers pockt, and no personal attacks just speaking truth.

Sorry to revive an old thread, thought I was going mental for a bit cause I just got this as a beater phone till my upgrade. But do I really need to use a TM to make this problem stop?
Yeah I've also seen its a driver problem. This happens a lot, unfortunately there is nothing we can do. Lock/unlock works but is very annoying.
