Sugarsync
iSyncr / iSyncr Wifi
These are two apps I'm running under Gingerbread. If they run under Honeycomb, then I've got a great cable-free solution for music, photos and docs back stored on my Mac or in the Cloud.
confirmed both are working!

I know this has been answered, but anyone have the latest and greatest opinion? Doubletwist the best or are there others better? I have a mac so needs to be compat.
Thanks!
DoubleTwist works pretty great for me. The airsync is a plus too!

Cool, syncing and trying out now, it looks great! ThankYou!
Question about the app: does it only allow wireless sync through Wifi? Anyone know of an app that allows it to wirelessly sync with 3G? I'd like all of my music on the go.

Why would you need to sync over 3G? If you're not home, your music collection isn't being updated at home. I suggest an alternative like Amazon's Cloud Player Storage, which is free 5GB, or pay 69cents for a song and get 20 GB for a year free.
Actually, I should have worded it better. I don't actually want my music to wireless sync. I just want it to be able to wirelessly stream the music from my iTunes to my device. I don't want any actual mp3s stored on the SD card. Saw a video of this working at a Google IO event, I believe, and was just wondering if any apps were out there that has this ability.

Yeah, that's what doubletwist does. The problem is Apple doesn't play nice with other devices, so DoubleTwist fills the void. It takes your iTunes playlists and puts them onto your Android device. I don't use their streaming or wireless sync, I just plug in using a cable and connect that way.
Many like the Doubletwist program, but the issue I have with it is it doesn't have an equalizer built in so the audio is poor, but fortunately it even adds the playlists to the built in Music player in Android, so that Equalizer works great!
Give it a shot, I think it's what you're looking for.

Been reading up on the app and from my understanding, the wireless sync option saves a copy of your music on the SD card and then creates the same playlist you have on your iTunes. Going to give it a shot, but I'm still searching for an app that wirelessly streams all the music on your computer without saving hard copies on the SD card.

It does that too, you just have to enable that feature, which costs a couple bux

How are you getting it to do that? I have doubleTwist AirSync and I don't see any sort of option to achieve this.

AudioGalaxy. It's free on the Market, make an account on their website, then download their app for your PC and let is scan all your music. The streaming directly from your PC is completely free.

PERFECT! Exactly what I was looking for. Process was simple and streaming has been absolutely seamless so far. VZW's going to regret their unlimited data plan soon.
How do I stream movies picture or music to my pc or stream my pc's movie music or pics to my Inspire is there a app I need to download like a DLNA app
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA App
there should already be a app on there for media streaming... to stream movies /pics/music go into your gallery and click media servers and your pc should come up if you have it set to media share
I did something similar using wifi tether mode on my inspire.
I started wifi tether then connected my laptop to it. after chainging my computers media servers settings, ( I use windows media player and a free software called vuze) I was able to acess any music, video, or picture that was on my laptop from my inspire using HTC app Connect media. It mite allso help, I was on a RcMix Kingdom rom. on my inspire.
It dint work perfectally, but it worked after some tweaking.
I woudnt kno iff it would work for "pushing" media.

I use iMediaShare from the market. It works great. I can stream to my pc or my blu-ray player. I'm running Ninja. Cm7 based Roms don't have a dnla app installed by default.

I use TwonkyServer (no longer free, but the older free versions are still out on the web) to stream to my xbox 360. I've never tried my pc, but I'm sure it should work. Twonky shares video, music, and pictures.

easyer way using Sense
Ok. I found am easyer way using Sence. I created an open Adhoc network on my laptop then modded my phone to see and connect to adhoc networks. For some reason it doesn't see them automatically. Set up yrr computer with media servers turned on and u should have access. It works great even as a remote for windows media player!
I allso did some WiFi bridging mods on my laptop for faster adhoc but PM me for that info iff u need help

Rooted with bali kernel stock kd1. Did not have any other problems, Netflix is streaming, music player plays fine local files but won't stream from Google music.
It does sync alboms info but when I hit play it is trying to stream and cannot do it, just hanging...
Does anybody have an idea of what is going on?
Edit: well, the reason was that Google Music is limiting number of devices per account to 8 (including PC). So, my SGS4G was 9th and out of luck for streaming. Solution is obvious - get into GM account and delete devices you don't use anymore.
Sounds like a connection issue. Fix permissions and try flashing a different modem. Also make sure you are signed in properly in the app

Hey all,
I am trying to sync music that I downloaded on my nexus 7 to my s3 via Google play music. I know it sounds like an an easy thing to do but I can't figure it out. The music was not downloaded from Google music though and I think that might be part of the issue. Any thoughts?

It needs to be put into the Google music cloud through the computer. Once your music is in the cloud you can get it on any device with your account on it.

How long have you waited? Often when I install Play Music it seems like nothing is there then I go back and an hour later all my music has thumbnails.

So basically if I have music on one device it has to go onto the PC then into the cloud? There isn't a way to just upload it from any device?

I think Google is trying to help prevent piracy by adding another layer here. But they require you to use a PC. I would strip metadata from the songs ie:downloaded from.... You never know what they will be monitoring. Many cloud services get a bit nosy with your files. Not saying Google has, but you do agree to only upload music you have legally purchased. Also you may have problems with legally owned music due to DRM, I highly recommend Wondershare media converter to strip DRM, and media monkey to manage libraries.
I can't even find my music with google music manager

I go to an album click to select it and it says folder empty. I googled around and finally found this post which hit on my problem. I also see where you gave advice to strip the data from music or something if you didn't legally buy it
(110% of my music is dl from internet for free) and I'm thinking that may be my problem. If so can someone give a detailed explanation as to how I can fix this prob? Thanx in advance man!

Hey everyone,
i could of sworn that i read somewhere that the gallary app had integrated file storage sites, such as box.net into the app. so basically, i could see my albums from box.net in the gallary. This would be similar to how windows phone lets you see your skydrive albyms in their photos app.
I didnt see anything in the gallary settings, nor did anything chane when i installed the official box.net app. anyone know if this is possible?
i used to keep all my photos (years of cell photos from all smartphones i ever owened) on my sd card on my S3, but since this doesnt have it, i uploaded everything to box.net.
Any help would be appreciated.
Anyone?
