I've seen some Kindle Fire's going for right at $100 for blackfriday/ cybermonday. Check it out fast... Even at $200 normal price, they are being sold at a loss by Amazon, they are hopping to make up the difference by selling you content. These are great and pretty powerful devices, and best of all you can flash on a clean Android operating system and have an awesome tablet for cheap.
Where did u see that at?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA App
the kindle fire is the cheapest one i know, but its like 199 dollars.. I havent heard of anything cheaper.. i saw one china imitation of an ipad, i was not quite sure of its price, but its definitely not below 100.. maybe like 150 dollars maybe..
Ok.so I just got the phone. I noticed I only have 9.93 gigs of free space. I know u never have a full 16 gigs. But is the os and bloatware really taking up 4+ gigs of space? I have not installed anything
On it.of my own

For some reason they have internal stranger and then phone storage. I don't really know why
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
I believe the storage can be repartitioned with a custom ROM.
I saw people talking about free 25 gig drop box with this phone. Is that true with the att ones? Is there a special code or something?

Download Dropbox, sign in, refresh the account while you're inside the app a couple times, and it will show up

No code just get dropbox from the market, signup and you have to complete like 5 things to do, signup on your pc, download some pics etc. Its easy!

Yeah, I am curious about the device, but wondering how people are managing with the storage? I love the design, but just worried about running low with pics and video.

I'm sure we'll have USB OTG support soonish
9.93GB USB
2.21GB APPS
3.86GB System
Not all that bad if you ask me.
25GB Dropbox Account
50GB Box Account
20,000 songs allowed in Google Music
5GB Amazon Cloud
5GB Google Drive
I figure we'll all be fine.

Yea. Data definitely becomes crucial, but I'm on WiFi most of the time and I have the 5GB plan since I get a good discount.

Were you able to get the 25GB from Dropbox with an AT&T HOX? Last I read they'd opted out of the promotion, at least according to Dropbox's website.
Edit: Sorry, just realized this is a very old thread (came up in a search result).

From what I have read, they had discontinued it, some people got it some did not. You could always try flashing Mongolia Rom, when you log into dropbox during set up it says something about 25gb.

Before I get flamed I purchased ipad 2 because at the time no android tablets supported Netflix. That was a deciding factor.
Looking at buying the 7" tablet btw.
So I have been debating on selling my ipad 2 and getting the new ipad, but I think I finally decided I am going to get an android tablet and would like to go a tad smaller. Then I might actually use it for its intended purpose. This tablet looks really nice, the only concern I have is if hulu plus and Netflix work on the tablet.
My tablet is used more for watching those two apps than anything else. Also anyone else go from an ipad to this and what are your thoughts?
Feedback would be appreciated as I will probably buy one Friday if it will work for me.
Thanks for the reply guys!

I was far more worried about Netflix than hulu. I watch 10 times the amount of Netflix than hulu.
Thanks for the fast response!

OP not to deter your original purpose but I was somewhat on the same boat as you. I had a TF101 and didn't really use it as it was too big to carry around with me and anytime I sat down to use it, it was easier just to pull out my laptop. Well I can say that changed with this tablet. It's easy enough to hold in one hand and is far easier to use than my laptop even when just sitting around the house making it my new go to gadget. If you want something smaller that is built well I would go with this tablet.

Both apps work fine but I don't think the Hulu Plus app from the market will install or run due to lack of hulu support. You can download a cracked Hulu app on XDA. ..just search for Landscape Mod Hulu Plus.

I don't know if this is helpful to your decision, but even tethered to my Droid X hotspot, Netflix runs flawlessly. I was stunned by the picture quality.

After reading your post I tried downloading the app and it installed fine and opened without any problems. I browsed around but didn't watch anything since i did not want to start my free trial yet.
As for netflix? Love it! i have the Tab2 10.1 and my wife has the Tab 2 7.0 and netflix came preinstalled on both.

I've been using Netflix and Hulu on my tablet. I also stream videos from HBO.com and Amazon's streaming movies as well... I am using the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, I used an ipad for a while but found that it just didn't offer me the customization that I loved with android.
What do you think of it so far?

How to fix this problem is there a site to download data for madden 12 for att HTC one x ??
I already tried google but I didn't find it
Maybe you don't have enough space on your device? Or you picked download using WiFi only?
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda premium
I'm having the same problem. I haven't figured it out yet.
I have the exact same problem, and I've tried it on two different devices.
Just find a warez site with the application on it. They tend to have the data as a downloadable file and will tell you where to put it.
Sent from my One XL
Doesn't work with my 7 either. EA has been pretty bad with this. I still can't download most wanted data pack. Yet other EA games work perfectly fine like mass effect and FIFA.
Just find it on sharing sites. What choice do you have? Ask EA for technical support?
Sent from my One X using Tapatalk 2
Was finally able to download the data for Madden earlier today - only been waiting around 5 days or since I purchased it... Lol
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda premium
Only way I was able to get it working on both my Honeycomb tablet and HOX was to download the extra file to my Inspire, running Gingerbread, and then transfer the file over to my other devices. I had that issue with several of the games from EA.

Thanks for that. I have an Inspire sitting in the closet as we speak. I bought Madden during the .25 cent sale weekend and haven't been able to play it since.
EA is notorious for this. I can rarely download any of their files.
He'll I'm running viper and it says it's not compatible with my device?? I could never get it to download extra file before bit it would at least download the game itself lol any ideas?

You're missing the Gigabytes, there....
I have 2GB 3/4G, with speed limit to 64kbps unlimited after that. I'll manage If you don't stream films (yay for microSD) and you don't use Google Maps (yay for mapswithme), then you don't easily get over 1GB
oops, don't know why it multiplied like that in my head. also, though, i looked again, that's only 1 day's worth of data, so still....
my peak seems to have been in February with 14GB
What the hell did you do, watch the entire Youtube database?
Last time I had a peak like that, My TF700 updated to Jelly Bean over my SGS3's 3G network; I had set it up as a router, so my tablet thought it was WiFi.. Oops!
That's one reason I love sprint too. Very easy to go over 2GB a month, so nice to not have that worry!!
Sent from my Nexus 7 2013 using xda app-developers App
I never reach the max data per month on my phone (2GB / 10$)
But on a tablet - it's a mess because I tether it to my iPad every day, so I often reach the cap (6GB / 20$)

I don't even remember. BUT, I'm thinking this is missing tethering data, as I do run torrents through my connection by WiFi Tether on my laptop. there's just no way my actual data usage is that low for the last few months
edit: nope, definitely not right. see image
I find it hard to use data usage while in the city. Love wifi coverage!
And this is why I love Verizon unlimited 4g Lte that actually works.
