[Q] NSCollab/Cyanogen Shazam widget issue

I have a SNS running NSCollab 1.0.12 and for some odd reason my shazam widget doesn't work. I first noticed it didn't work when i upgraded to Cyanogen 7, however in NSCollab I have same issue witch leads me to believe it's a problem with Cyanogen?
Does anybody else have this problem with Cyanogen 7 on SNS or another phone? I did have some problems with all my widgets before (where they kept overlapping), but i took care of it by wiping and reinstalling. Everything runs fine with Modaco Gr14. I've tried wiping several times, reflashing but i keep having issues with this.
Another thing I noticed is some kind of random reboot (especially when i have it plugged in). It happened when I was running stock also and I know there are others who have this issue as well, but this shazam widget not working has me puzzled (what else could be messed up)?

[Q] serendipity 6.4, "no service" when receving a call

I installed serendipity 6.4 w/ hardcore speedmod about 3days ago and everything works very well,but when I get a incoming call the phone rings once and I drop signal "no service" a second or two goes by signal comes back everythings fine no missed call shown, like I never got a call...But I can make outgoing calls...plz help

Same exact problem for me, I even tried restarting fresh and doing the whole flashing process over again and still have the same issue.... I'm about to switch roms if this keeps up but I really liked Serendipity

Same problem here, same ROM, same version.
What have you guys tried?
I've flashed back to stock using ODIN and then flashed back to Serendipity again. Problem appeared to be resolved at first, but then 2 days later the symptoms started to repeat.
That made me suspect the problem was with particular apps or widgets I'd stuck on my home screen, so I tried removing my newer apps & widgets such as Facebook and NYT to no avail.
Anyone else with ideas?
I do rather like Serendipity, but will probably end up flashing back to Cognition or something to get around this. Guess I'll wait for Mikey's 2.3 to stabilize!

Update:
Flashed back to a clean Serendipity 6.4 and did not use Titanium Backup to restore my apps. It's working fine right now. In the next few days I'll restore individual apps as I need them, and see if the problem recurs.
Best theory so far is that the problem is either
a) Caused entirely by a particular app or widget
b) Caused by some sort of strange incompatibility between Serendipity 6.4 and a particular app or widget

[Q] CM7 - No sound from notifications

EDIT: Problem solved! New update was available, flashed it, everything working now!
Hi all,
I've Googled endlessly and haven't been able to find a solution to my problem. I've got a Rogers Infuse running CM7 from the dev thread. The issue is that I don't get any sound coming when I receive an SMS, or any other notification such as new e-mail on Gmail.
I do however have the ringtone working for the Phone and have the alarm working. The vibration for SMS also works.
What I'm wondering is how can I fix this so I can get the SMS notifications working?
I've tweaked with all settings, whether it's deleting all profiles, tweaking them, making sure night mode isn't on, going to the Cyanogenmod settings, etc. and none have helped.

If it was un official one, there was updated cm7 released with it fixed happened on my last cm7 before update.

The issue here is that I'm flashed on the 27 October ROM (my first CM7 ROM).
Should I just reflash the ROM?

Problem with Hellfire ICS build 1.8

HI,
ics was running fine for me for a couple of days (besides the known bugs with all the ICSs). Yesterday I was playing some music from google music through aux in my car when i got a phone call from my friend. The build lagged where i couldnt do anything for liek3 mins. and then from then on all my apps started crashing. music went first then i tried opening ohter stuff and they all also went down. the only thing that semiworked was the browser app but that too crashed after 30 seconds. anyone else have this issue? any fix for it?

If you have done ANY undervolting or overclocking.:nope
If you had this problem before (either on other ROM's or previously on your current ROM):just on this
If you wiped Cache:ya
If you wiped Data:YA
If you tried installing another ROM:been on other ics b4
Any other things you already tried (BE SPECIFIC!):rebooting lol
also sidenote all the ics build seem to be working fine at first but eventually end up slowing down even tho i regularly close apps. any fix for this?

Reboot when using Google's location service

Hi,
I'm having a problem with Google's location service. If it is turned on and an app uses it, my phone reboots after some seconds. Turning it off and using GPS satellites only solves the problem. Although, it seems for the weather widget to work it has to be enabled... :/
I am currently running Android Revolution HD 6.7.2 (latest) with faux kernel, also tried wiping and reflashing it using a different kernel. I can't really tell when this started, some day it just kept rebooting every time I took a picture (geo-tag enabled).
Does anyone know what this could be caused by?

earlier maps update had these issues and a fix was released ..did you updated the maps to the latest (which has fix )?
