Anyone having any luck with Netflix? I think I've tried all the various versions of the app out there, but at best I get the 1005 error trying to play anything. But I saw a list of devices that supposedly had it working and Infuse was on the list. So I thought I'd see if anyone could verify. Thanks.
I get the same error . Have tried all versions as well no luck here

Same here, i get the 1005.

Aw I see, thanks dude (I'd press the button but I hit my thanks for the day already).
Nope new update still doesnt work for us yet.
its not available in our market and when you search at Android Market you can find it and try to install it it says its not compatible with our device.
Infuse shouldnt be left behind... the got the old Motorola droid working Infuse is a newer device.
I can't get it the mod-2 apk to work. The modded apk closes after logging in. the mod-2 apk throws the 1005 error. The Market apk, of course does the device check. so we are still in the cold until the Market is updated.

The new beta that they released is supposedly 60% smaller than the last release and 25% faster than the stock browser. Check out the article about it: http://phandroid.com/2010/11/04/firefox-4-beta-updated-speed-boosts-push-it-ahead-of-stock-browser/

Ah, that sucks. The thing that keeps me from trying Firefox Mobile (besides it taking up around 17 MB), is that the UI hasn't been optimized for MDPI yet.

This might be a stupid question but I'm going to ask it anyway My girlfriend just picked up a Samsung mesmerize. What I was wondering is if it's possible to log into my own google account to download apps that I've purchased on my phone, say, SetCPU?

It's not the firewall because I have lots of ways past that. And not Chrome exactly, I've tried with Chromium tho. I'm on Ubuntu.

2 questions:
1. Does anyone know if there's something new on this (GB? SENSE 2?)
2. Is it the same exact hardware? (does it need to ported?)
Yeah, can this be flashed to our version of the Evo as-is?

I haven't been able to download it yet. You will not want to just flash this to our Evo. Let a developer play with it before you flash.
the video on the link shows Android 2.2 and our old SENSE (1.0 or 1.5)... So nothing new there...

Has anyone tried putting the genie news and weather app on the HTC Thunderbolt? I keep getting a force close each time I try to run the app. I have been able to install it with no problems, I have also grabbed the filed from a few different locations just to be sure the file is not bad. However, I used the same file on my X and it worked fine. Both are running 2.2 the only difference is HTC and the damn sense.
Can anyone offer any advice as to how to get this widget working on the HTC Thunderbolt. I love this widget and I have become use to checking it daily. It is great to have news and weather together.
Thanks,
I got it working just had to find the right ver. Had to be 2.21 compatable

Installed and nada, zip, zilch. Then again, I'm not running an ICS ROM right now which I believe is a requirement. Will try again after I find a stable ROM.

it says nothing on the post about needing ICS for this to work, maybe double check your permissions using the ES file explorer. did you read the ENTIRE thread? also how did you try to get it to work? did you try to launch the widget? i would try to install it myself but i'm at work for another 3 hours and have a business meeting afterwords. re-read the thread maybe something was missed

Well when it's installing it clearly states Google Now for ICS, altho the thread itself doesn't necessarily mention it... followed all the instructions to the T, no Google Now in my apps, and certainly no widget to add either.
This thread appears to confirm requirement of ICS as well: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ve...528-google-now-thunderbolt-flashable-zip.html
