There are a couple threads in the Sensation forums which talk about the incompatibilty of certain games, but I figured I'd put this new in a new thread so that others may see it instead of going to each thread and scouring the pages for that hopeful post.
Just as the title says, Unity came out with a new engine (Unity 3D 3.4) that is now compatible with the Qualcomm MSM8260 (Sensation and Evo 3D). I came across this while admiring the new market and noticed that both Cordy and Samurai II: vengeance listed in their what's new that they're now compatible. I haven't tested the latter, but Cordy definitely works. It's like Christmas for my sensation........except that we don't have to give a gift...........and we still have to pay for the gifts we receive.
Links to both.

I'm still wating for Order & Chaos to work with Sensation.
I see today that Battleheart and Zombieville USA were pulled off the Market for the Sensation after being the dev found further issues. Did anyone here get them before that happened? Wondering if the problems were tolerable...
Battleheart has no problems. But zombieville.crashes a lot.
Battleheart is still in the market. Just zombieville that was pulled.

cordy and samurai 2 working fine... will test battleheart later
I'm coming from Windows Mobile and the two games I miss the most are xtract and experiment 13 that both came from Sony ericson phones, I was wondering if these games have been ported to android or not.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA App
highly unlikely, i couldnt find them on the market either...the only 2 options are to port it yourself, or find an EXTREMELY kind dev to do it for you, im sure a donation would be a must
I played those games as well, but I quickly lost interest when I found the Android market games section. I suggest you do the same
Asphalt 6 if you liked the racing game. Although I haven't found an alternative for experiment 13.

Ok thanks, also I couldn't find asphalt 6, I found asphalt 5 HD Is that the game you meant?

Reviving the thread... Experiment 13 is out for Android. Search and you will find (a .apk) :victory:
So I installed Backstab from Gameloft on my phone and it looks amazing!! If you use your phone to download it their site will say it's not made for your phone, but if you go to their site on a computer and say you have an Incredible S they will send you a text message to download it and it works flawlessly! Enjoy.
Yeah I was interested in Starfront: Collision HD, but I didn't buy it because I was scared it might not work. I might give it a shot now.
Thx will try

Is anyone playing games like modern combat 3 or GTA 3 on there HTC one s I'm curious because I'm coming from g2x and I don't think my purchased games will work here, any solutions?
Both run well and smooth on my 1S. If you purchased them in googleplaystore they are downloadable for free in your "my apps" section.
(I'm on a dutch tmo 1S (international version?) but I highly doubt there is any difference regarding this)
Though there are quite some games it wont run on my device (for now). Like certain Gameloft games and the Sims.
The only reason it won't run some Gameloft games is because they won't make them download compatible. GTA3 works fine, much better than on the g2x and n64oid is smooth as butter for me.

The t mobile version doesn't have a lot of gameloft games like modern combat 3 or asphalt 6,I bought them when i had an amaze and now i cant play them
GTA 3 runs fine, but the audio is a bit crackly for.me.

You know I was wondering the same thing because a phone as powerful as this really should be able to run any game on the market, yet here we are. Kind of mad I can't play any Modern Combat game online. And yea the audio on GTA is a little off for me as we when I don't use a headset.
I wanted to play let's golf 3 bit it is incompatible with my device. Love that game.
Sent from my One S.
I'm guessing it because of the snapdragon S4 chip... I was happy i could download real racing 2 on my One S because i couldn't on the Amaze and now I get an error... (the one game I thought I could kill time with playing until they made more games compatible with it)Need some good games ASAP, anyone know a Link where we can download the apk, or great games that can pass the time?
I've been playing the PlayStation 1 emulator while I wait for games to be compatible. Sucks to have an awesome device for gaming but you can't play the high end stuff.

GTA3 worked without a single lag on mine, i don't know about Modern Combat but GTA is great
So does anyone got any gameloft games working on one s t mobile version, id really like to sum six guns or modern combat

I wonder if gameloft games would work if I was on cm9 or aokp would anyone know that?
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using XDA
I'd say most likely it would.

Hopefully they will work, I know without sense and bloatware this device can definetly handle the best

I can't play games that use the accelerometer.. The direction is wrong. Anyone else with this problem?
Edit: sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't . Not all games have the option to calibrate the accelerometer

Just played real racing 2 with accelerometer. Worked perfect...

Same Question
It's something up with EA's servers not recognizing the device if you're on stock ROM.
If you install a custom rom, it may work. I was able to download Dead Space and Real Racing 2 running the TrickDroid rom, but couldn't on stock. Got that same error.
Dead Space crashes to homescreen when the 3D inits though, Real Racing 2 seems to work just fine, however.
edit: Using my purchased installer .apk from Gameloft when I had the G2, Modern Combat 2 installs, downloads, and at least gets into the main menu (which uses the engine for background). I assume the game itself works.
This is just gettin a little too ridiculous... I can understand some of the games like the tegra 3 ones, but come on games and apps that used to run on my fkn evo 4g arent available/compatible with the all mighty one x??? Oovoo such a simple app, not compatible according to google play.
