hey i have the samsung captivate and i got the code to unlock it with the mac program and i put it in and it says invalid pin i dont know why but can anyone help me
Have u upgraded to another rom? I think i read that it changes it if u switch roms.
its not rooted and i havent done anything but trying to get the sim unlock code from it

I had tried the one click unlock method prior to this one and it showed file not found so i moved to this long method. I did everything properly but basically when i open sgux.exe to read my nv_data.bin that is in c:\ this is what shows up.

So basically it says that it found the code but it does not even display the number. I actually opened the nv_data.bin file using a hex editor and i can see that there is some sort of data in there (this probably means that my code is in there) but i dont know why this sgux.exe can not read it.
Can somebody please help!
One thing i should mention is that this phone i recently bought and it came with firmware "t959uvji6" i tried to use the one step unlock method here and failed then realized i should downgrade to "t959uvjfd" and i followed the instructions of of the xda website doing this using odin with both the pda and the pit file. So everything worked. Then i tried one click method again and it didnt work. so i tried the long method and i have shown the results above!!

Do you think i can roll back to original bell eclair using Odin??? I had eclair on my galaxy before i upgraded to bell froyo using Kies..tried every method to unlock, with no luck. Did this long method too it jus saya searching for codes and the code found but dsnt show anything..

its no use going back now, as the unlock code is lost once you updated to Froyo
To OP: try posting in the Vibrant section you may get more help

there are some ebay sellers that sell the code, or call your sewrvice provider

Hey. I'm new to this forum and I've checked almost entire google for a solution but haven't found one. I just got hold of a SK17i and I'm wondering if anyone knows how I could unlock it. I'm stuck in no service mode. Sometimes I mange to get up the code unlock screen for network use.
Tried using superoneclick to get unlock code but it fails. It also fails and freezes at psneuter when trying to root.

My step sister brought back the Samsung Galaxy J100FN and its region locked.
I just rooted and i am looking for a way to unlock it now. I have looked at methods such as changing the nv_data.bin but it seems i don't have the same data at the offset depicted.
Z3x has integrated support for this phone so i think there must be a way to do it.
