hey i have the samsung captivate and i got the code to unlock it with the mac program and i put it in and it says invalid pin i dont know why but can anyone help me
Have u upgraded to another rom? I think i read that it changes it if u switch roms.
its not rooted and i havent done anything but trying to get the sim unlock code from it

hey guys...i really need your help ....tried to unlock my samsung captivate running on froyo today and was somewhat happy when it said network unlocked after i checked the *#7465625#.but heres the problem,when i tried to see the actual code it just reads ffffffff without an unfreeze code..sgs unlocker.i used the galaxy s unlocker app to do this and i downloaded the generate unlocker for windows...and all get from them is error cant find the bak file ,can anyone help!
My problem is that i got the unlock code from this phone from t-mob, however this particular phone that i got someone was messing around with it and was able to by pass the unlock code notification which i really need right now to put the code... couple of things that i need help with....
1. How do i manually enter the code if the notification is bypass if there is no way then
2. Is there a way to get the firmware or OS installed again so whatever modification that was done will be taken out and hopefully the Unlock Sim notification will show up again.
3. Is there any flashing tools for this and well connecting to the second question i guess firmware or rom....

I've done Master or Factory Reset still doesn't show up....
What i got is "SIM?" then "?"
I've also tried to the the method for att where you do some sim pin things, the thing there is that the sim pin isn't bein recognize for some reason eventhough i know it.... all attemp fails...
NOT USING ATT SIM ANYWAYS just thought that method might work

phone locked. somebody has entered a new spc code. tried guessing, no good. any suggestions?
I found a way to get the code. I had to download a program to find the SPC code, which unlocked the hidden files page. now I'm on to the next step, what ever it may be.

hi folks...think I posted in the wrong section...so here goes...
Hi folks... im a bit of a noob when it comes to phones...basically my Three contract finished today and I inserted my new GiffGaff sim...only to get the Sim Network Unlock Pin....I searched around on here and found the way to get the code using the terminal emulator and the imie code.
I put the 8 digit code in...and got the message Network Unlock Successful .... but I still have no network signal....I rebooted the phone and I kept getting Sim network unlock pin - screen. put the code in....successful...etc.
My next option was moving from cyanogenmod 10.1 to the latest CyanogenMod 11 - Android 4.4.2 - KitKat .... installed fine...but on boot up I still get the unlock pin screen....enter code...unlock successful....no signal ...and back to square one.
does anybody have a way to unlock this?

well the code aint gonna work....so looking at other options...
ive tried the PG58DIAG.nbh route... but all i get is security fail / reboot my phone is s-on does it need to be s-off for that method?
think its easier to just get another 3 sim and stick with them
