[APP] Tasker - Set Wallpaper w/o Scaling? - Android Apps and Games

hey,
Is it possible to set the wallpaper using tasker w/o cropping and scaling happening? It keeps choosing to crop/scale it in a really bad way. Thoughts?

[Q] REQ: Automate changing of "live" wallpaper.

Does anyone know how the live wallpaper works? I'd like use Tasker to change it automatically (like you can do with regular wallpaper). Any ideas what files are involved and how they are used?

[Q] How to make wallpaper to scroll slower than desktop?

I was wondering if it is possible to make the wallpaper to scroll slower than desktop? I know this is done in some of the live wallpapers but can i do this using just the static image?
I am currently using launcherproplus.
i don't know what you actually mean but,
go to launcherpro settings>Appearence settings remove the check from "disable wallpaper scrolling if you have it.
hope this helps,

[Q] How to maximize wallpaper on android

Hi!
I want to set maximized picture as a wallpaper, but now i must cut it before i set it.
What should I do?
How to maximize wallpaper on android
Hello ,
to maximise wallpaper on android actually it totally depend o n which type
device you use, your screen can be a huge battery consumer. Looking under your settings at ‘battery use’ gives you a breakdown of the biggest battery consumers. On my phone, the display is always number one, so I set it to automatic brightness, which works much better than using manual brightness settings via the Android Power Control widget .
Thank you,
try app "wallpaper plus"
OP, your Wallpaper needs to be 960x800, (providing your device is the usual resolution), to avoid the issues you are having.
I'm assuming up to now you've been trying to set one that is 480x800? The extra width is to take into account the Homescreens scrolling from side to side.
Hope that helps.
"Superwall Lite" will set any wallpaper without cropping, and scroll accordingly if needed. It is a live wallpaper, but it won't eat your battery the way most do because it's just showing an image.
I know that the original post was a while back, but just in case anyone else is curious. The app is especially good for using a vertical image, but you can also use really long images and the screens will move as such.

Download andWobble2 as well as the live wallpaper add on for said program. You can use any picture with it, just select the one you want to use, load it, save it and use the live wallpaper to use that picture as your wallpaper. The weird android resizing won't take effect.
I'm using Wallpaper SlideShow, doesn't need to crop or resize image.

[Q] Wallpaper Cropping

I can't seem to find a way to set a custom image as the wallpaper without having to crop it to the point that the resolution is incredibly low and it looks terrible. I don't want to make it scrollable, I want a simple 1920x1080 image set as my background just like the default Asus ones. I have seen some users mention PicSpeed HD wallpapers but this is not a viable solution because if the image you want is not in their galleries it won't work. Also I've downloaded the Wallbase app and setting a picture as the wallpaper results in the same cropping as trying to do it manually.
Anyone know how to fix this?
You can install MultiPicture Live Wallpaper. It's what I use and it's excellent. I'd also recommend messing around with the settings in it.

Nice
Reading this thread and dowloading this app may be what prevents me from returning my TF700. Thanks for the tips!

[Q] Is there a live wallpaper scheduler for KitKat?

Is it possible with Xposed or some other root app to schedule automated live wallpaper changes?
(I don't mean swtiching between static images. I mean for example applying one lwp at noon and then another automatically at 3.)
I've searched Google and XDA and so far all I've found is a video detailing how to automate going through the steps of choosing a live wallpaper with Tasker.
I found EasyProfiles which does have and option to change the live wallpaper but apparently it doesn't work on KitKat.
