Does anyone know how the live wallpaper works? I'd like use Tasker to change it automatically (like you can do with regular wallpaper). Any ideas what files are involved and how they are used?

I have an iPhone that I jailbroke when I switched back to a WM device and there are some cool apps for it. One is called Wallpaper, which enables anyone who installs it to see other users of the app's wallpaper. It displays like a full-screen slideshow with the ability to save the image.
Does anyone know of something like this for WM? I've been doing some searching but not finding anything.
hey,
Is it possible to set the wallpaper using tasker w/o cropping and scaling happening? It keeps choosing to crop/scale it in a really bad way. Thoughts?

Is it possible with Xposed or some other root app to schedule automated live wallpaper changes?
(I don't mean swtiching between static images. I mean for example applying one lwp at noon and then another automatically at 3.)
I've searched Google and XDA and so far all I've found is a video detailing how to automate going through the steps of choosing a live wallpaper with Tasker.
I found EasyProfiles which does have and option to change the live wallpaper but apparently it doesn't work on KitKat.
Hi there,
I'm not a developer, so be cool
I would like to know if it's "simple" to create an Android application to set by default the wallpaper "Home" and the wallpaper "screen lock", just with a click for each wallpapers (or why not juste one click for both)
In my compagnie we manage Android under BES10, and unfortunately the wallpaper is not possible on Android (but only on BlackBerry). However I can push application, which is why I need to create this small application
To summarize : my application just needs to embedded 2 images and allow with one click to define the default wallpaper for the home and the lockscreen.
What do you think ?
Is it possible for a non-developer? Thank you !
Kreg
If it's not possible, is there any application that can replace it? Or a launcher that supports a live wallpaper from an app?
