Infuse 4g forum?

Im a bit confused why there isnt an infuse 4g section? Can someone explain this to me?

Ive asked this also. Picked mine up this morning and man is it a real beauty, the screen is awesome, so far stock perfermance is verry good.

The newest version is 1.9.1 thats what I used to root mine.

Picked up my Infuse today, holy crap is it nasty!
So far compared to Inspire:
Sound - Much clearer and louder
Screen - ... WOW, not even comparable. The extra size is nice but nothing compared to the beauty of this screen
Signal - Better everywhere so far. My real test is at work tomorrow
Size - While the screen is big, it is SO thin, and Amazingly light!
This phone is fantastic so far, I couldn't be happier.
Can't wait for XDA Section
P.s. where do you get drivers for the phone?

Where or what drives did you use?

I can't believe that a phone that is of this caliber doesn't have blutooth voice dial.
My ancient bb curve 8310 has voice dial. Thats very sad.

Well i took the battery and sim outvfor 30 seconds and it worked. Devs should start posting stuff in here.

I bought the Atrix the day it came out. I also just bought the Infuse yesterday. The Atrix went on ebay and sold. And its better that way. Even though the specs on the Atrix are better, in my opinion its not better then the Infuse. And I dont have to even discuss why lol

just bought a g2x

must say im very impressed with this phone, coming from an epic 4g this phone is 10x better. love the variety of roms and all of the features.rooting was a breeze. Thanks devs for making this phone that much more awesome.

Welcome! It's nice still seeing people having an interest in this phone. I'd recommended flashing the latest CM7 nightly, and a kernel with Voodoo sound.

Welcome aboard man. The G2x is a worlds better than any of the first generation Galaxy S's. And I'm sure you've already learned that.

cm9 infuse?

will the infuse get the cm9?
i know cm9 is released on galaxy s. so are we able to port cm9 ?

Seeing as how we would be lucky to even get a stock, AOSP type ICS rom, I highly doubt a souped-up version A.K.A CM9 would be available on our infuses.
With that said, LinuxBozo is a genius..

I hope it comes to our infuse, cm is really all I use now. Performance is above all others without overclocking.

I don't see a reason why it won't be on the Infuse. Sure, it might be a port and not an official build, but does that really matter in the end?

I get great battery life on CM7. And ICS shouldnt take that long.

I know a Guy that's already got it to boot up SMS phone touchscreen and wifi works it will be soon guys

CM7 or maybe even CM9, MIUI.

I wish for mine to be replaced with a more-less phone. That is a more advanced and a less troublesome. Nuff said.

BLN working with GB. I hate NoLed. If your feenin for CM7 just install ADW.

T-Mobile G2x & MIUI first try

Thanks man! Also, I keep having to manually connect to my carrier and receive an invalid sim errorerror. I noticed its after I disconnect from wifi or after I lose service. That's enough for me to switch back!
UPDATE: NVM, the invalid sim error I was receiving was just because I lost service. The sim is read after I regain service. Though the network must be manually configured the first time around. After that, everything is fine.
I do miss some of the CM7 perks though. Like speech to text, or when I get a notification, I can slide individual noties away.
MIUI has a GB feel with a ICS look. So, I'm sold. I'm switching over and leaving CM7 in the dust.

When I take a screen shot, it says the file is corrupted. That's so crappy. The UI still outwieghts the bugs!!
UPDATE: I fixed the screenshot issue by installing the CM7 screen shot apk. I have it if anyone needs it.

Which version of MIUI? What pros are there over CM7.2?
I've always felt that MIUI looks like an iPhone knock off.

Haha couldn't be more true! Everytine I try and switch... I always end up back with CM7 lol IDK this though MT3G. This ROM is sick(until I run into a problem)! It hhas the Gingerbread feel but the ICS look! I don't want to out my phone down!
I flashed the GB Miui.us from rootwiki by team kang. Which is the same guys who build CM7 & 9.
I really think this is the answer to all the users who want the ICS look and the stability and feel of GB!
I reccomend this to anyone who hasnt tried it but loves CM7!
Battery life is really good too!

I have had the IPhone 4 and gave it up for the G2x. No regrets btw! And I feel that it looks nothing like a IPhone knock off. Although it does reminds me of CM9 somewhat.
The look and feel of it is just perfect! Like an integration of CM7 & CM9. This version was ported by Kang anyway. The battery life is better than CM7 too. CM7 does have quite a few things I miss though! Like speech to text, being able to slide individual notifications off/out, just small things that CM7 gives you but the look and feel this has makes me forget about those little perks CM7 provides.
Just try it out for yourself and you will see what I mean. Its better that you experience it yourself. We are 2 entirely different people and what I might find interesting or awesome is most likely going to be awesome lol just kidding but you should try it out for yourself!

I tried miui, g2x Singh, today too. I like it but no Google talk means I won't be using it.
Not sure why talk is not included in miui.

Well for one, calls over wifi does not work, data connectivity issues, apps/processes crash all to frequently, the list goes on! Its just not as stable and reliable as CM7!

Have you tried the LewaOS port in the development section? I think it's worth a shot as I was using it earlier and it's overall really good.
