This current version is only intended for the One S z520e (Snapdragon S4).
It is based off the WWE 3.16.401.8 OTA.
This ROM is designed to be as close-to-stock as possible for those who wish to go back to stock, without re-locking their bootloader.
It will get updated when new firmware is available and also when I make changes to it. I will give ETAs sometimes, but possibly not always.

I'm not sure about T-MOB US WiFi issues, but for WWE International phones there shouldn't be any issues with WiFi.

I'm assuming then just like the other various JB Sense 4+ ROM's I'll have wifi connectivity problems? I tried flashing those as well w/my 1.14 and wifi will not connect. I just don't want to downgrade just for the sake of a new ROM.

Yes, S-OFF is mainly the reason why that won't work because to do that you need a custom HBOOT that supports advanced fastboot commands, which is possible to make with the One S, but impossible to flash as the HBOOT needs to be signed by HTC. Alternatively, you can use a custom HBOOT without a signature from HTC, but for that you would need S-OFF.

Aww man it sucks the flashing the boot.IMG is really a pain in the ass , though the flash image GUI has reduced the pain but still s-off would be marvelous , even software s-off would do , we are not messing with hardware , but I see no hope , some ppl have got soff from Russia or China right ?

hi i need some help i flashed the boot img via fastboot but when i try to flash the rom it says failed what am i doing wrong? help please

[SOLVED AND CLOSED] JB 4.2.2 not networking

Heres the problem
Every 4.1.2 Rom I flash works no problem
Every 4.2.2 Rom does not network in as much as it will not find my Operator (O2 UK) nor any apns and I am unable to enter a APN manually and after a reboot I have to manually search for O2 again

Albino updated to 4.2.2 on 0215 version.
Have you tried installing version 0214 or earlier(version 0209 had something different in the firmware department) ,and then,dirty flashing a later 4.2.2 version?
I dirty flashed 0216 over a clean install of 0209.

I have tried all 3 4.2.2 Roms all the same result "no data"
I have tried 3.32 with unlocked bootloader. No joy
I have tried 3.33. No Joy
Getril does nothing
I have super CID 11111111
I have tried dirty flash of albino over jellybam No Joy
some guy on albinoman thread on oO2 has fw that is different to mine and lava and ends M2. He says he got it from O2 as a OTA. I have googled and gooled but cabt find it anywhere

And why is it that Jellybam works brill but not any of the 4.2.2

Hi guys, still no luck.
But I was thinking and came up with a possible cause for this problem. As for as I know that in the UK, O2 is the only operator which shares its service with a bunch of other carriers (e.g. Tesco, GiffGaff)? Therefore requires us to select the correct APN when installing the ROM, I think HTC sense ROMs does this after fresh flash. Anyway, since we need to select APN and it does seem to be working in CM10.1 (can't add new APN settings), could this be the reason why this ROM is getting no signal for us?
I am aware there are still a lot of flaw in this assumption, but it is the best I can come up with. I am just waiting for APN to be fixed to check if this is indeed the problem.
PS: anyone tried SuperXE-Intact-AOSP 4.2.2 ROM? Since it is AOSP maybe APN could be working there. I vaguely remember it wasn't working either when I last flashed it, will test later if no one has already

I cant speak for Lava but I am on 4EXT recovery
I would of thought Tesco and giffgaff share with O2 rather than O2 share with them

Have you tried changing the recovery?
Try TWRP ,and see if that helps.
I know you tried everything else,this is just a different approach.

Is TWRP a straight download and install from google play
I still think its the FW that the guy on albinoman thread has on O2 that is different to mine he has 11.69A.3504.00P_11.23.3504.07_M2 but I cant find it anywhere

Hi,
I used KOHR-AH'S 3.33 UNIVERSAL FIRMWARE

Installed TWRP and strangly enough it said there was a update for my rom of cm10.1 19th. The strange thing was I have been on Jelly Bam for last 2 days ??
Flashed a couple of 4.2.1 roms Cm 19feb and superXE 4.2.1 and another one I cant remember and all work absolutly no problem.
Tried Super XE 4.2.2 and no data and clock FC.
My FW 11.76A.3504.00P_11.24A.3504.31_M. Which is the correct radio but how do I check the 3.33 bit. Going to flash FW 3.33 anyway and try again.

Reflashed FW 3.33 via bootloader screen. No difference. All the 4.2.1 work no problem but none of the 4.2.2 work with data. Just running round in circles now and running out of ideas except for finding that FW 11.69A.3504.00P_11.23.3504.07_M2

Yeah, Tesco and GiffGaff are using O2 to provide their service. I said it because they are using the same hardware, but O2 needs to add in additional ways to detect if someone is their customer or Tesco's customer if that make sense. The additional "check" or "validation" by O2 might conflict with 4.2.x maybe? :laugh:

System apps cant be deleted !! pliss help

So as the title says it,my friend rooted his phone and is still runing stock so he wanted to delete a couple of unecesary apps like Facebook twiter using Titanium backup and when he did that his phone rebooted and even if he does uninstall all these apps,after he reboots his phone none of those apps are gone so please help

No, that is incorrect. You are able to edit the system partition but not radio or rpm, tz, rcdata etc. with an unlocked bootloader but no S-OFF. S-OFF enables you to do anything and edit any partition.

I think everything you need is the relocked bootloader.

Yeah, the ruu will write the recovery back to stock itself. The only thing you need to do to run an ruu is relock the bootloader.
Keep in mind you will lose root if you run the ruu.

Thanks and yes i am very well aware of that and if he tryes to flash custom roms like Viper S,the phone boots just fine but there is no gsm signal,is it because of the kernel and can he use the stock cernel with the Viper rom ?

It sounds like it could be just a modem configuration problem. The first place I would check is: open up the dialer and type *#*#4636#*#* This will open a screen called "testing." Then go to "phone options" and scroll to the "preferred network type" option. Make sure that an option is picked that includes GSM. Be sure not to change any other options unless you know what they are for, this screen alters the core of the phone.
You also get to show off a hidden menu on your friends phone

it happen because the kernel is with write protection i.e. u can change the system partition ones but it be rolled back to stock after reboot
to avoid this you have to install a custom kernel with write protection disabled like Bullet proof kernel by flar( it is shared in forum have a look)

And know i wanna know if his HBOOT 2.15 might be causing this problem,because i see that most people on this forum have a lower HBOOT like 1.15 if im not mistaking ?

If you are using custom ICS rom then first try this kernel xXXPachaXXx and check mac address and if not try this Sebestain overclocked ...
When I am on ICS i had the same problem and don't remember which one solved my problem ...

Did you try to perform a full wipe before you install some rom.Probably a wipe data/factory reset could be some part of the solution (It could help you with wifi crush using your current kernel / Sometimes if your kernel has some bug the issue may reappear).You always should wipe cache and dalvik-cache and flash an other kernel to make sure.As for your MAC address you will be able to see it when your wifi is succesfully turned on.

You are saying its hardware problem and it can be fixed, or you meant to say it can't be fixed.

My phone just had this problem. Fiddling around with the wifi antenna wire and the connector seems to solve the problem.

Yes, please share this oven treatment link. I'm having the same wifi issue, and I've tried the things mentioned in this thread.

You must S-OFF (very important) (because i don't know which CID this rom is meant for)
no bugs for now for me
and the rom came with root available

Hello and thanks man for translating this rom first off all i instal it on my single sim phone and it worked for me and S-on but my bootloader is unlocked .. but there are bugs like nfc service crash i fix it with installing nfc destroyer and mobile data don't work this is the only bug for now and sorry for my bad english

Try this fix at your own responsibility
flash this zip through recovery
this fix is not made by me (credits goes to @Oel )
(i just removed the build.prop from it because its contains tweaks for other rom)

@Kellwa after flashing zip file the wifi does not work and the phone does not detect sim card!!!!!!!!!!

anyone having this probleb or its just me
on every reboot i get the "android is starting" dialog for about 5 seconds
i have been searching a lot for a solution but no luck
already tried wiping cash , dalvik-cash , data nothing changed
even looked in logcat but couldn't locate the problem

sorry but i think you have to flash the rom again (or replace the same files in the zip from the ones in the rom)
i don't know what is the problem , i don't have a single sim phone mine has 2 sims
(try to flash the rom and select 2 sims model maybe it work)

My htc desire 820u has no software update option... It won't connect to network either

does this work on HTC desire 820s dual sim Mediatek MT6752 processor

After install there's only green HTC logo.... and lockscreen. Solution?

First of all I had to install nfc destroyer, because I couldn't do anything because there were multiple nfc crashes all the time. Data connection don't work and I uninstalled the rom after few hours. I have desire 820n BTW
