Nexus S was stolen...

So my nexus got stolen... don't really want to get into the details. Now I was planning to not get a new phone for at least several months but now I'm stuck with a dilemma:
Should I get another Nexus S? I love the phone but man it's hard to pay a lofty sum of money to get the same phone that's a year old.
Galaxy Nexus? I wasn't too impressed by it and I'm not sure if I'm willing to pay for such a pricey device.
Another droid?
What would you guys do?
Try looking on Craigslist for a Nexus I just looked in my area and found some between 120-200 depending on your budget.
Sorry to hear that dude.
To me i find the Galaxy Nexus a great phone. You should look at it. The speed boost would definitely be nice to have. Just no matter what stick to the Nexus line!

You would have to buy a replacement screen for it. And do it yourself. I went to samsung once, i recommend you go there as well.
I remember it being super expensive like $180 in the US just for the repair... Sometimes it just better to get another one...
Invest in a good case... I use Ballistic and never had a problem.

[Q]Help in Buying Skyrocket

Hey guys, finnaly i decided to buy the new s2 skyrocket insted of the galaxy nexus phone.
I understand its alredy much more stronger and with the ics update its gonna rock.[am i wrong untill now?]
Im also gonna move from the US soon so i need an unlocked version, i have found only this one due to the fact AT&T/Verison and all thos dont sell the phone without a contract, so i found this one :
https://negrielectronics.com/samsung-galaxy-s-ii-skyrocket-i727-white-unlocked.html
Is this site reliable? is it new from the manufactore or pre-used? should i trust them? its only says unlocked but does that means sim-free?
Thx guys!
Best thing to do is see if you can get to a Walmart and try to find someone who will sell you a phone without a contract this has worked for several people I know

What do you mean "someone" ? just ask people around or is it on sale there?
I bought my Skyrocket from them because I couldn't find anywhere else that sold the white SR unlocked. It was actually cheaper for me to get the SR from them compared to getting the original S2 outright in Sydney, Australia.
The phone is new but they need to open the box to unlock the phone. The plastic film (which says don't text and drive or something like that) is still on the phone when you get it.
I read a couple of reviews about the site online and they seem reliable.

nexus s sources

Hey there, I'm looking to buy a nexus s for my Mum cos she needs to upgrade from her old brick, but I'm having trouble sourcing one.
I've been researching for a while to find something that has around a 1ghz core, something with more internal memory than my old desire and which is under the $300 mark and I've been able to find a few sources for ones on US networks, but I'm looking for an unlocked model for use in Aus.
Any ideas? Or alternatively, can anyone suggest a similar, more available phone?
Thanks in advance!
