battery usage - Thunderbolt General

is there a way root or not, to show how much battery is used per app (by unplug)...spare parts only shows ms of open and open count by app...im trying to determine which of my apps is sucking down the most battery life when even not being used (background battery used)

What about in the "battery use" page? From main screen --> menu --> settings --> about phone --> battery --> battery use

I was going to suggest that ^ or the app system panel

Captivate battery monitor

Hello,
When my battery is dying I get a notification on my screen. There is a button that lets me view what apps are using the battery and how much. Is there a way to access this information at any time without adding another widget? It's pretty useful. I just saw that Beautiful Widgets was using 67% of my battery. I don't even have that widget displaying on any of my home screen any more!
Deleted it. (using the same viewer)
How can I access this info at any time? Preferably from a button on the home screen.
Thanks!
Not sure if there's a widget, but you can find the same info by going to Settings > About phone > Battery use
And I'm not sure how I did it but I was able to put the Battery Use "app" mentioned above on a home screen so I can easily access it
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
Battery Indicator will give you a percent read out in your notification bar, and if you pull down it gives you a short cut to the battery usage screen.

Disable: Turn off Background Data while Phone is Sleeping?

So, I turned on a setting a few days ago, and I can't remember how to turn it back off.
The setting behavior basically disables my phone from updating while the screen is off. I did this to save battery life, but it's becoming a hassle more than a help at this point. I can't seem to remember where I changed this setting, so I was hoping someone could help.
If it helps, I have already checked these locations, and it is NOT one of these settings:
Settings --> WiFi --> Advanced --> Keep WiFi On During Sleep
Settings --> Data Usage --> Restrict Background Data
Settings --> Battery --> Battery Saver
If it helps, this is my software config:
Moto X Pure (2015)
Android Lollipop 5.1.1 (rooted)
XPosed Framework (GravityBox installed)
Apex Launcher
That's about it. I do not have any other "tinkering" apps installed that would mess with system settings. And to be clear, I'm looking to disable this setting that I previously enabled (but can't remember how I did it).

Is there any way to mass background restrict app battery usage?

My Pixel 2 has been experiencing severe standby battery drain (last night it went from 95-30 while I slept), and I'm pretty sure it's one of my apps' faults since it doesn't happen when I reboot the phone in Safe Mode. So now I'm trying to restrict most of my apps from using battery in the background, but it's a huge pain going through 50+ app battery usage pages to toggle their "Background Restriction" property. There's a page to disable app battery restrictions in Settings > Battery > Adaptive Battery > Restricted Apps, but there's no way to add apps to that list. Is there a mass app battery management settings page/developer option I'm missing, or maybe an app that provides this functionality?
Hey did you find any answer to this?

Question Battery Saver Settings

Hey all
I need a little help with the battery saver
I'm using Macrodroid and want to make a macro that enables battery saver, the problem is that it enables it ok but not "Super save" (don't know if that's the name), like if I use the icon in notificationbar or in settings
I can send intent to open the settings page but can't activate the button
UI action doesnt work with screen off and I can't turn that on when the phone is closed
Any suggestions?

Battery percentage

Greets, I hope this is the right department, I've gleaned a lot from this site and have nothing but respect and appreciation, thanks!
I have a CAT S60, 6.0.1 unrooted and I can't get the battery percentage to display (outside of 1 swiping) I do have the stupid battery level icon and it stupidly does display a level that changes as battery drains. Here's what I've tried so far:
System UI activated and shows the switch for "Show embedded battery percentage" but turning it on and reboot, still no percentage.
Tried with and without developer options activated
Installed an app called "Percent Enabler" That puts a number inside the battery level icon that I just noticed is no longer doing so but so what.
Checked battery settings. No option
There us no settings for status bar
Checked display settings. No option
Looked through developer opt... you know what? I did not look through developer options. Can you hang on a second? Thanks!
Nope or at least nothing I recognized as battery percentage display stuff.
Searched here and found some info but none seems to apply. It probably is here somewhere but I can't seem to find it! Any help would be super appreciated and I'm ready to do a factory reset if needed. Thanks!
