This is a modified version of the TouchWiz launcher.
Features:
-5 column app drawer
-Transparent app drawer background
-No colored icon backdrops in the app drawer
-No icon label backgrounds (Galaxy S II style)
Instructions:
Warning: you should install another launcher prior to installing this in case something goes wrong.
1. I recommend using Root Explorer for this process, but if you're an experienced user then you can probably think of several other methods.
2. In /system/app, rename TouchWiz30Launcher.apk and TouchWiz30Launcher.odex to TouchWiz30Launcher.apk.bak and TouchWiz30Launcher.odex.bak. (IF DEODEXED... GUESS WHAT!? )
3. Copy this new TouchWiz30Launcher.apk into /system/app.
4. Set permissions of the new TouchWiz30Launcher.apk to rw-r--r--.
5. You may need to reboot, but probably not.
6. Enjoy!
*TIP* move the drawer launcher by: opening your drawer > menu > view type > customizable grid > menu again > edit > then you can tap and hold to drag around the app icons, including those on the launcher tray.

I like the mod I'm using the only thing I dont like is the auto landscape. I like the fact that I can set a default home on it. Basically what I'm interested in is a touchwiz with a set default home, transparent app drawer background and No colored icon backdrops in the app drawer. If you can make possible I would greatly appreciate it.

Is this working on latest wolfbreak rom? Xtm v007. Looking very nice indeed! Im on baseband 52 (second modded one by jerpelea) and using freexperia recovery.
Edit.
Working on above mentioned rom
Edit 2
I really don't get how your supposed to chose projectx in cyanogenmod settings/tweaks/themes etc.
The choices I get are an invisible text with a button which has been selected and then stock and stock black.
I put the projectx.XML in the sdcard/cmtheme and I can't see it.
Flashing the 11mb zip worked fine.

OK so I've put the projectX.XML in both sd root cm theme folder and also in projects/sdcard/theme folder and same results as before.
1 invisible theme title first then stock and stock black after.

Rename cmtheme folder on sdcard to cmtheme2, next go into cyanogenmod settings and save current theme, this will create a new cmtheme folder on sd. Now just move the themes from cmtheme2 into the new cmtheme folder.
Excellent theme btw.
Brilliant worked great.
A request for future if not sounding too checky but I think increasing the transparency in the pull down would look better and perhaps having a footer at the bottom of the pull down. Thanks from the theme

It all depends what you're actually trying to do?
Just change a color? Change the pull down background? Add quickpanel toggles?
I flashed my phone back to stock rom and I just wanted the taskbar to look like the octane rom that I was running on before.

You can try pulling the framework-res.apk and systemui.apk from octane and replacing them in the appropriate spots in your current ROM as long as the rom you are on is deodexed. But it may,not work. Or, you can replace the .png files using 7zip and then replace those files with your new themed ones (less chance of fc or bootloop). But the second method is a bit more detailed.

ABOUT
------------------
This is a collection of CWM flashable zip packages that can be used to modify any deodexed UCLB3 base. Any deodexed UCLB3 base can be used, but a suggested base is Option D found HERE.
(These mods have also been reported to work fine on deodexed UCLB1.)
PACKAGES
------------------
lidroid's 14 Toggles
UCLB3-CWM-lidroid_toggle_mod.zip
This mod was created by lidroid and adds a customizable panel of 14 toggles to the pulldown statusbar menu. Settings for the toggles can be found in QuickPanel Settings under applications. Swipe left or right to move through all 14 toggles. More information on the mod can be found HERE in lidroid's thread.
File modified: SystemUI.apk
Files added: QuickPanelSettings.apk, lidroid-res.apk
Expanded Tone Pack
UCLB3-CWM-expanded_tone_pack.zip
This mod adds 18 additional alarm tones, 70 additional notification tones, and 122 additional ring tones. Included in the pack are tones from the SGS3. This is intended to add sound files to unmodified /system/media/audio folders. If you've already added some of these tones, you may see duplicates in your menus.
Files added: Sound files to /system/media/audio folders
Extended Power Menu
UCLB3-CWM-extended_power_menu.zip
This mod adds reboot, reboot to recovery, and reboot to download options to the power menu.
Files modified: framework-res.apk, framework.jar, android.policy.jar
Extended Power Menu + CRT-off Animation
UCLB3-CWM-EPM_CRT_off.zip

Files modified: framework-res.apk, framework.jar, android.policy.jar
Scrolling Wallpaper Fix
UCLB3-CWM-scrolling_wallpaper_fix.zip
Wallpaper scrolling was disabled in the AT&T UCLB3 Gingerbread release. This mod restores wallpaper scrolling.
File modified: TouchWiz30Launcher.apk
NOTE
------------------
If you have previously modified any of the files found in these CWM flashable zip archives, you will need to redo your edits. Check the list of modified files before flashing, as these will undo any previous modifications that involve the same files.
INSTALL
------------------
1.) Download the desired zip archive and place it on your internal sd card.
2.) Reboot to CWM recovery.
3.) Choose "Install zip from sdcard".
4.) Select "choose zip from sdcard".
5.) Use the volume keys to scroll to UCLB3-CWM-lidroid_toggle_mod.zip.
6.) Press the power button to select.
7.) Use the volume keys to scroll to "Yes - Install ...".

The "fix" is the tw launcher from the last leak where scrolling wallpaper still worked. I like the fact that the UCLB3 launcher doesn't have background tiles for apps in the app drawer, though. So, I make the tiles completely transparent so they don't show. This is what is in Option C in the rooted Odin packages also, since this is what I've run on my phone since UCLB3 came out. It ends up looking and working exactly like the LB3 launcher, with the exception that the wallpaper scrolls.
The only real difference between the earlier launcher and the UCLB3 launcher is that Samsung removed wallpaper scrolling and app background tiles.

Good deal. I'm using the older launcher now because of the scrolling wallpaper but i can't stand the tiles. I will be downloading once posted. Thanks again for putting these mods out for us.

My best solution for the scrolling wall paper was to use a complete black wallpaper.
Try checking out the scrolling effect on that!
Talk about being good on battery.

I do this sometimes also.
EDIT: I've updated the OP to include options for the extended power menu mod (EPM), EPM plus CRT-off, and the scrolling wallpaper fix. The extended power menu mods took some time. I was just going to pull from NunHugger's files that I used in the Odin to rooted UCLB3 thread, but I ended up having to learn to build the EPM myself. Nun's files were used to learn how to do it, though, and I also used his icons (with his permission of course). Thanks to those who helped, and enjoy!
Will this work on uxkg3 or only uclb3?

Not to be a smartass, but read the thread title. Try it on KG3 at your own peril. It probably will not work though.

bigfau is right. These mods were done on UCLB3 system files, so I can't recommend using them on anything other than a deodexed UCLB3 base. Like he says, try it on anything else at your own peril.

Which mod are you wanting? If you're wanting the lidroid toggles, I might be willing to try to mod the SystemUI.apk in UXKG3 to make the toggles work. You would have to be willing to test it, though, as I most likely won't be flashing UXKG3 on my phone to be sure it works.
I wouldn't use the files in this thread, though, because they are different than what is on your phone.
These files should work on lb1 as well. That would be the only other rom it would work on. I'm not 100% positive on this but i will be testing this on my phone this week when i get a few minutes free. I'll post my results when im done.

I read it and saw it was for lb3 I just wondered if by chance I could.make some work on uxkg3... the one I wanted was extended power menu and crt off... not a big deal if I can't make it work but figured if by chance it would I'd give it a shot... I have a nandroid backup and my original Odin to stock firmware which has gotten me out of a soft brick before so I'm not too worried

Updated the OP to add an Expanded Tone Pack for UCLB3. This mod adds 18 additional alarm tones, 70 additional notification tones, and 122 additional ring tones. Included in the pack are tones from the SGS3. Enjoy!
Just tested both EPM mods, TWLauncher and the Toggle mod on LB1 and it works just fine.
