Hi everyone!
I use FPSE 0.10.45 to play Final Fantasy IX (PAL - Italian) on my X10 (Android 2.1) and work very good!
Over 50 FPS everytime, except when there are the fights with the monsters!!!
FPSE work around 30 FPS, very slow...
If I setup the frame "up to 50", work around 50/60 FPS, perfect! But the statistic and the menu for fight (attack, magic, object, ...) disappear (become invisible)...
There is a solution?

Same problem here. And my framelimiter always seems to unset itself sometimes without reason. I think fpse works fine without frameskip in custom kernel.

I prefer it much better than psxe
im not playing FFIX
but FFVIII (the best one )
I'm getting constant 60fps even with the transition effects from world map to battles or anything like that
supeerrr smooth
I don't have sound though, because with 32fps cap, its jumpy

Easiest workaround is to bind square to your snapshot hardware button and keep it down during battles whenever not using the menus, this will hide the menu and bring your fps back to 50+
Otherwise the custom kernel or build prop line removing fps cap may do the trick, tell us how it goes if you try that!

You can edit your build.prop to remove the 32fps cap on your x10 (use root explorer)

this will greatly enhance FPse's performances - tried this this afternoon, works great on FF7, 8 ( about as close to the original game as you'll get with an emulator ), on FF9 with no sharp overlay drawings, no frameskip nor slowdown emulation or enhanced 3D rendering, you'll get about 53~ fps in battle with menu displayed, not perfect but still very playable.
I have yet to try with the new kernel but not being an expert on the subject I am not ready to do that just yet.

just wanted to add, ive been messing with gcontroller and the other popular one to no end. They just dont work right. (all the time) This one right out of the box was excellent. Will try to report anything i find as far as settings - etc.
If you set 'center' on any game to '90' that's the angle at which you hold the phone naturally when the phone is in your hand...like a 30 degree angle. It sounds like it will work better that way but I think it's harder to recall he plane the phone is on between the angles...maybe if I stretch the thresholds to larger numbers (so it goes very far down to be down, etc) it would help - otherwise small angles lead to tilting and you really need to remember what 'flat' is.

Ine installed NFS:U after the splash screen the phone screen goes black and the only way to get it to respnd is to switch it off and on again. What could be causing this?

How did you get pokemon stadium working? PS1 goes to a black screen,and PS2 the analog controls don't work, so you can't select any options.

As for this topic, all roms are working as long as your device meets the standards needed...Nexus-One, Droid, Samsung Galaxy, and most other high-end devices.
If your games are running slow or choppy, Go in to settings > audio and video setting > max frame drop > set it to 4. This should help!

Make backup of your original gta3.set file then put modded file to sdcard/Android/data/com.rockstar.gta3/files/GTA3

Which version do you use? PowerVR, Qualcomm or Tegra? Have install Chainfire or not? Using Chainfire to play or not? What ROM is your O3D? With or without this tweak is it still stable?
Just an Update GTA 3 v 1.2 at android market also support our device even galaxy nexus same chip as ours so hopefully most of you guys don't get crashing now For me it has been stable since v 1,1

Awesome it worked thanks! Although it makes the buttons a lott smaller on the nexus, how weird!
So I can't use the p920 files right? Because I wanted to use the last file with the brakes...

Gta3.setr is the same on all devices . You can use it on your nexus.
If you use gta3.set with high resolution enabled then the button are smaller.
You can edit size of buttons in settings. My buttons are smaller too after reset to default.

Hello! I've installed the latest release of crombikk and it's wonderful! I've only a problem, some 2d games (don't touch the white tile an ball beating) runs very very fast (i guess about 3 time faster than normal, they're unplayable!) while others (flappy bird, geometry dash) runs normally. They appear just like movies in fast forward mode! What cause this and what should i do to solve this? thanks in advance!
This is my configuration: Crombikk current, that kernel v10, f2fs internal partitions, no rom2sd.

I can't find an app called ball beating, and there about 10 different versions it seems of don't tap the white tile. I tested a 2D one and it seems to play just fine. Perhaps you could be a little more specific as to what games are causing you problems?

Sorry for vagueness (and errors )! One game is "super ball batting" by hu wen zeng, the other is "don't tap the white tile" by the same autor. Thank you so much for your support!
I removed the fps limit from balanced and performance modes. If the games determine their speed from the fps that is a poor programming decision.
What happens if you run them in power saving mode?

Yep, i've been thinking that it would have been a kind of poor programming issue, because all other games works just fine! And the ones that has given me problems are made by the same author! Running them in power saving mode did the trick, thank you so much! However, i was wandering, Is there any way to turn on fps limit on balanced mode?

Not without editing the the ramdisk in the kernel But the point is you should be asking the author of the games to fix his crappy coding. Why should I limit the fps of my rom for some poorly programmed games which will then make other games run slowly....? :angel: :cyclops:
I never touched the fps of power saving mode so just use that for now

Thank you so much for your feedback . I am happy to see someone play it. I will try to make some changes with the background and make it lighter. I was more worried about the speed actually and I had some huge stuttering problems, glad to hear it's "only" background for now

Thank you, I will. I have usually darkness in my room so it looked ok, when people said it is too dark I went out of my cave and yes, it is awful background.

After some feedback added Camera Lock option in the menu (You can lock camera on Y axis if you want to.)
Added STAR SYSTEM. You will light star everytime you add 20 to your score (20, 40,60 etc.), Biggest STAR is for 150.

- When the character jump i want to see the graund. Maybe it can be cool with this.
- Buildings can swipe with the character on running.
- You can add powers or power points etc. (up 20 meters run = speed up, up 50 meters run = super jump etc. )
- You can add different environments (forest, city, beach etc.)

-You can see the ground if you lock camera. (Version 1.3 . Checkbox in the menu, at least I hope it's working )
-I think something like this would ruin your gameplay and you would crash immediately, but I agree it needs something more.
