Title was misleading I'm not choosing between them. She just hates my phone. Didn't know if I was the only one who seems to be diagnosed "obsessed" by the girlfriend lol.

For my wife, she's not a geek but writes nearly everything down to stay organized. She had a Pantech Feature phone. So when my upgrade came, I got a Captivate. She wasn't too impressed until I got Netflix on it then told her that she can search all things Google with it and check her email.
So she says that when her upgrade came up, she'll upgrade to an Infuse, give it to me and switch SIMs with the Captivate and she'll take that. Cappy is running Continuum.
Since then I never hear the end of her praises for the phone and me. She loves Evernote and we share stuff all the time. She barely turns on her PC now(which used to be mine but that's another talk show).
Plus I'm running the Infuse....WIN!!!!!
Help your woman love the Super AMOLED goodness and ... you'll get a 'reward'!!!

My wife does not say anything at all,poor girl.Anytime and every time I sit on the sofa or recliner I start using this beast.Always hanging out with my Streak.She says you always find something to do with it,regardless of what you do,I try not to show it to her much so she doesn't get hooked.
And of course the Netflix app just make it super duper much better.
My wife hated it and always complained about my free time I spent with my smartphone habit. She is an iphone user, so her opinion doesn't matter anyway!
My new GF is almost as bad as me and thinks it's hot that I can do all this cool stuff. She is getting a Nexus S this weekend and is so excited. She uses a Nexus One now. I'm getting a SGS2 next month.

I need to get her on here so I don't have to do all the work. Then she may not have much of a use for me lol. She couldn't even tell you what rooting is or why you would do it lol.

Haha I think they guy was a crack head looking for his daily fix, had no money so he sacrificed his phone haha...yeah development for the infuse is kind of dead to be honest....its not largely supported.
Come down to AZ man ...a lot of phones for good price.... or find the local crack head with a good phone and offer him money lol

Even skyrocket Dev is not great...i know its better then infuse but...nothing in comparison to OG SG2 or even ATT note
I might consider the Note but just the size seems huge!! I've never actually held it so until I do play with it I'll make my choice

Nothing a new modem can't fix...
Plus Skyrocket is getting ICS soon so the source will be out and different ICS roms will be out as well ..... and Cyanogen will be working all all devices for CM9 (except the infuse sadly)

They said it and even gave out specs on the phones which was mainly 256ram and 1ghz processor was all that was needed

Worst fear was realized today! My beloved cappy took a fall right into the toilet, clean water thankfully! I had to switch to my hd2 for the time being. My cappy is resting comfortably in a bag of rice. I got the battery out so fast that it didn't get wet nor did anything behind the back cover. It may survive, only time will tell. But now I truly feel for you jayrokk

I had a similar incident with another phone ....not my old cappy lol.....
I was pissing and holding my phone with my shoulder and head....and for some reason i lifted my head and the phone just slid down lmao
But that was the tragedy for that haha

Hopefully it's some time in Q2 or Q3 and not around Xmas time. Either way, I'll be happy that there's hopefully going to be forward progress on CM9 since not having data is a real killer for an everyday phone.

I dropped my HTC Aria off a balcony one night while enjoying some beverages and it broke into half a dozen pieces. I went online and filed a claim through Asurion's website. $50 later... I was sent a Samsung Infuse!
I was very happy... nice little upgrade for me!
Be careful, because if you file another claim within the same year... they will cancel your insurance and you will be SOL if it happens again... So only throw your phone at the wall once every year or so
Hmm.. well no flashing for you for a little while.. :/ Um.. I would recomend the Best Buy Black Tie plan next time.. you could always claim it stolen...

I threw a phone against a wall once (never argue with a woman over the phone). I was ready to pay full price for a new phone (because i was stupid). Since i had insurance on the phone the ATT guy told me to file a claim and report it as lost/stolen.. I did it and paid my $50 deductible and got a replacement phone.
I don't recommend to anyone to do this but if you have the insurance you may as well use it..

My Galaxy Nexus showed up yesterday so I will be moving over there now. It's been great with all of you. I bought this phone off of GOOGLE play website and am very happy with it so far. I'm hoping to find a buyer for my glacier soon cause it's still such a nice phone and would hate for it to just end up in a drawer.

Hey man how much was your Gnexus? $400?
Also, the Galaxy is actually easier to root and stuff, its just the flasghing part that's a bit more annoying... IMHO

Yeah I paid 399 for it. Easy to root and unlock. Flashing rom from cwm recovery just like you can on glacier. Already rooted it and running AOKP rom with franco kernel.

I'm running the exact same setup as you. Franco kernel is bomb isn't it? Sounds are nice and the screen even looks better than it already is. Did you get Franco's kernel app control?

Any idea what price you would set the glacier at for sale? I know this isn't the marketplace but I'm curious because I have family members who paid $190 a month ago... but I paid $175 for mine a year ago.... what's a fair market price assuming normal wear/tear

Yeah, I'm planning to just ride this phone out until the end of the contract (late December). Development is still surprisingly strong, I don't play any graphically intensive games, and the phone never fails me for anything.
My family on my contract wants to switch so I have to keep this phone until two years from June 2011 (someone bought an sgs)

Psh, I can't upgrade for like another 10 months. I want a Gnex, so I might try to get one this summer since I'll be working. I might even try to get a weekend job for that extra $$$.
