Exact thing happened to me. I missed their $20 deal by 1 day, bought it for $399 on Sun, got it a couple of days ago and today it's on for $60 less...
So what did you say to persuade them to give you the refund?

man i shoulda waited for this deal instead of jumping on woot. The shipping at tiger is dirt cheap in contrast to other etailers and I could expect the product to be shipped same day. Now since woot doesn't have a real order history that shows order status, I have to basically watch it like a hawk to see when my order ships because my area is high crime. Most packages get stolen if not immediately intercepted.
Buggah, can't order online for international delivery.
Have to make phone call.....

Many thanks to the OP and all who posted here. I did pick up one from Tiger Direct today using the posted code.
I dithered all day on the Woot deal finally telling myself not to buy version one of anything. Then was at Best Buy and played with the iPad one and two which sold me on the concept.
With Woot charging sales tax and Tiger not I will actually save about $2.

Just to note, it's a few more states than that:
"We only charge tax in FL, IL, NC, TX, GA, SD and ID"
(I knew they'd have to charge tax in IL because they have a warehouse in the Chicago burbs and have a couple stores as well)
Comet now have these in stock for dispatch, i just ordered mine for tomorrow and have received a confirmation of delivery email (if that means anything)

Thanks for the pointer I've ordered one too but I'm not over-confident I will have a TF in my hot hands by Friday somehow. It seems odd that neither Ebuyer or Amazon for example have stocks, and I seem to recall Comet as being optimistic regarding stocks of the (minus dock) TF's too.
Actually reading all the tales of woe re screen bleed, troublesome docks etc, I wonder if I've made a wise decision but life's too short and I've taken a chance

I emailed them yesterday with that same question 'how come you get yours in stock and amazon say june 1st'? They emailed me back this morning saying they were due in today so i've been watching the website all morning waiting for it to be updated, when i saw it i rang them to confirm and gave them my details, they then rang back to confirm delivery tomorrow by parcel force for which i paid an extra £5.60
If they don't turn up a local store is going to get a brick through it's window

I went into my local store Saturday and the guy checked stock at the CDC which said delivery due 10th. I went in after work today and it was right they got them ready to be sent out so ordered one for in-store collection and picking it up Friday if you don't want to order online go in and do what I did. I only paid £399 as I took out the extra care so did me a deal so all in I only actually paid £485 with the service plan as I got 10% off buying vouchers through my work I'm a happy boy lol
Just ordered the bundle as well. I hope the keyboard will come with the US layout like on the pictures and not the UK layout.

I did, i bought one a month ago when they first became available, but no scrollable widgets or browsers worked so i sold it again, (paid £375 sold for £440)
My new one with keyboard arrived today, so no bricks will be thrown, (at least not at comet)

I ordered my bundle on the 4th April and Comet have had my money since then. To hear that someone who ordered YESTERDAY received theirs instantly is just infuriating.
I'm off to Comet after work. F****** ridiculous.

When i had mine a month ago all i had was the slate, they didn't get any stock of keyboards until yesterday and i was straight on the phone.
Just ring up the service centre direct 0844 800 95 95, all a store will do is give you some BS about availability
The keyboard is awesome, increases productivy a 1000 percent, the keys have a really good feel, and the touchpad is very fast, haven't worked out how to adjust speed.
Been using it for about five hours with general use, setting up ADW EX, a bit of youtube, web browsing, emails, and it's only gone down 15 percent!
Well indeed I should have had more faith my order arrived this morning as promised Must admit I was surprised when just one box arrived as I've always seen the pad and dock in two separate boxes but sure enough they were both inside.
No juice at all in the pad though some in the dock just a quick look and no sign of back-light bleed (with the start-up dark background).
Must say I love the look of the TF and dock, feels solid and well made

Took delivery of mine today from Comet, plugged in an power on BAM! Screen bleed!! All edges are corners, pretty bad. Went to my local store to return and refund and they have awful customer service. They treated me as if I was lying "oh I dont see a problem", well its not you who purchased it?
Anyway got a refund in the end. Having now had 2 faulty Asus transformers and 7 faulty iPads I think its time I walk away from tablets.....
I now have my bundle in hand after picking it up from Comet and its amazing can't believe how small the box was with both in I had to ask if both were there lol I also picked up a nice bag for it which I'm happy about.

Are you in the UK at the moment? I'm currently in the US and will have my keyboard delivered next Wednesday (US Layout)...I then return to the UK on Saturday. Would you be interested in a swap? I'm not overly bothered about having a US keyboard but a UK layout would be a bonus.

want to hear from others that were wronged by amazon wireless.... After doing my research on what phone I wanted, I took advantage of the deal going on @Amazon wireless on Thanksgiving, where you got the skyrocket for a penny--- went thru the steps---approved thru AT&T--showed IN STOCK ordered it.... Supposed to ship within one week (2 day free shipping...yeah right) So the next day I return to the site to gain more info---now I see the skyrocket is "not available" backorder... Thought , good thing I bought yesterday (said IN STOCK when I cashed out) so I check my order and find that ship date is JAN. 9 ! Ordered on Nov 24th, I called in and found that they threw me in the backorder pool...That is BS I told them , because it said IN STOCK when I purchased... Had this info been laid in front of me @ time of purchase I may have done something diff. Even now if you go to the site, it will show "backordered, ships in 1 - 2 weeks--really? And my order from Nov 24th goes all the way to Jan 9th? So, looking for others wronged by Amazon..... . I also checked with both at&t and Samsung. ...no shortage of skyrockets........... I get two shipping emails but only one new number email. I figure it is a mistake and that Amazon would catch it before shipping after the Thanksgiving Holiday. A few days later I have two Amazon boxes sitting at my front door. I only opened one line but have this extra Skyrocket sitting on my desk.
I love Amazon.

eh i got a 249$ phone for .01 ... even though it took a week to arrive i am still happy with it.
at least they still honored the .01 price if it was out of stock .. most black friday sales just tell you that you are sol if the item is out of stock.

Tracking says it got delivered today.
I ordered on 25th as well and mine should be delivered tomorrow. Along with SGS II and Captivate Glide (Moving 3 lines from Tmobile)
I ordered 1AM on Tuesday and it arrived 3PM on Wednesday. I was actually impressed because I was expecting it the following Monday after the holiday.
I'm sorry you still have to wait. But for a $.01...I wouldn't mind the wait. Maybe you can get them to send you a white one?

I think my wait was attributed to Captivate Glide because it was suppose to ship in "8 - 10 days".

Amazon's customer service is top notch. They use all their muscle to right any wrongs. My guess is that you will be getting your device much sooner than Jan 9.

It's available a TigerDirect.ca but it's a ripoff, the tablet is on sale for 574 and the dock 172, so in total a good 100$ extra than the regular price. The catch is, they list it as shipping in 3-5 days, i bought one, and after chatting with a agent, he said everything is backordered until at least june 25th. So basically, it's a smart way to try and make an extra 100$ off having the "exclusivity" of the first ones to sell it in canada

Sitting here with my new Acer A700...would have got the TF700T but I need something for my trip in early August.
Despite all the reported issues with the A700, fine with me so far, but I would like to give the TF700T a spin...so tempting to preorder this from NCIX and see if it ships in time for my trip.

Hi, ordered a TF700t from Tigerdirect Tuesday morning. I received my shipping notice Wednesday morning. I should have the table by Friday (or Monday). But.... I've also seen when shipping notices are created but they aren't actually shipped until later. Not sure if this is happening here.

This is just a very stupid way to keep customer exited about their inflated prices.

I have a pet peeve for poor customer service so if that was me, I would have cancelled the order before even getting off the phone...
If it's a 32GB, you might as well order from NCIX and save yourself some $$$.

I think Tiger direct turned out be a scam . They market it as shipped but i noticed that they havent billed my credit card. I c a n see them shipping without billing.

Of course just after I posted my last comment I checked my Tigerdirect / UPS tracker and in fact my order has actually shipped and it's some were in the States.
But I will only half apologize to Tigerdirect because it still is $90.00 more than B&H.

hmm NCIX or Tiger Direct, I'm willing to pay more but if it's going to be delayed anyway I'll just use NCIX....or maybe just wait til memory express starts selling it, but it could be 3 weeks from now...decisions decisions...

This could be a blessing in disguise...at least for me...latest from samsung note 10.1 spec is really looking good, 1.4 quad core, 2 gb ram, s pen, 5mp / 2mp cameras, ir universal remote control, sms capability thru the phone (probably thru blue tooth like the smart watches....only missing is the hd screen..

Infinity arrived from Tigerdirect Monday July 23. All is good . Need to find a case, etc.
I've noticed HTC telling a lot of upset buyers on Twitter the same canned responses that "it will be well worth the wait for the pre-order package they're putting together". Does anybody know what that means?
Also yesterday, 12/2 was the day the red a9's were supposed to begin shipping. Has anybody had confirmation of shipping for theirs yet? I was going to get mine by Friday, but I know now it'll likely be next week or later, realistically.
I canceled my order because of the long wait. Still interested in how the deep garnet looks in person though and maybe just maybe will consider getting it if I dont have to wait any longer.

Got my notification today it shipped. Ordered within a few hours after it was announced.

Ah, nice! I just now got my shipping confirmation too. I had pre-ordered it, but ended up cancelling it cause I was frustrated by the delay. Reordered later when they had 30% off and got 2 for about $700.
You'll have to let me know what's in the pre-order package!

Specifically to people who had complained about the wait for their preordered phones. You're probably right, but it seems like they're insinuating there's a bonus.
How is your a9 though!? Is the red as nice as it looks in the pics?

The red is very nice. I'm trying to figure out what settings I want on and off and how will it impact performance. I'll probably write some sort of informal my usage type review.

They specifically mean the $100+ dollars in HTC credit for accessories they are giving out, I'm sure.
I got my shipping confirmation on 12/4, which is unfortunate b/c I was had juse decided to cancel my order as I picked up a Galaxy Note 5. At least now I can compare them side by side now.

I like the $100 credit better than a surprise gift inside... Cuz, if we get a surprise in the box I may or may not like/use it. $100 credit is like gift voucher, I can buy anything!
