I have trouble charging my S7 edge, It simply refuses to charge shows me that I have plugged in my USB charger by giving me a white lightning symbol but then disappears after 3 seconds or so and does not charge..
Here is a what happens after experimenting.
extremely Slow charge and fast drain - My phone stays on in "Download Mode" whilst plugged in - 4/5 hours later I had 26% after 30 mins mild use took it down to 13%
No USB Connection detected? - Whilst I had some battery life I have no USB connection in either ODIN / FIle transfer at all with my computer
No Wireless Dock Charge - I Attempted to charge my device by wireless , it also refuses this.
I'm confused , surely just a battery issue would still allow file transfer? If it was just a USB issue - why does it charge in download mode? why no wireless charge?

Hi, I'm having this issue with my Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F):
One day fast charging stopped working, but standard charge was working perfectly, OTG was working, Odin too. MTP wasn't working!
One day I plugged my phone at the wall, and it didn't show that it's charging, after some reboots it started charging well (not fast charging). Sometimes I have to wait 0% for charge it again, but if I use a PC instead of the wall adapter it works (sometimes not, but I just need to reboot it)! So I'm able to charge the phone only from a PC if the battery is not at 0%.
I checked if OTG and Odin are still working... MTP is not working, I can't event hear the USB plug-in sound from Windows, if I go in Odin mode, Windows says: "unknown USB device" and it won't work, I tried to reinstall drivers, but nothing.
So right now:
- Charging from the wall won't work well.
- Charging from a PC works better.
- Fast charging won't work.
- OTG is working.
- Odin is not working anymore.
- MTP is not working, PC doesn't find the mobile, I also can't hear the USB plug-in sound from Windows.
I tried different things: re-calibrate the battery, restore the stock firmware via Smart Switch, flash some ROMs... But nothing.
I can't understand why some days ago Odin and wall charging (not fast) were working but MTP wasn't, now none of thease are working.
The only thing that works well is OTG.
Right now I'm using OdexLite ROM with stock kernel, but I tried different ROMs, Samsung's stock included.

I tried unsuccessfully to make my Fedora 24 and Fedora 25 detect the device, also tried on a MacOSX. It just charges, not only doesn't detect on download mode, as it doesn't even detect normally for file transfer etc.
Could it be an automatic update that killed MTP and fast charging? I've been searching the web for three days already searching for an alternative to flash/root or whatever to try to downgrade it and see if works with older version, but I couldn't. The device is 2yo, but is as new, I changed the battery and the connecting board on authorized service also with no good results. I hope I can make it work again! I appreciate any insight the community could have on this issue.

Yes is turn on MTP

There are two problems
1. Pc does not recognize phone. It only charges
Till now tried.
Changing cable ports computers not worked
Enabling usb debugging. Not worked
Factory reset. Not worked
Connected in odin mode. Not worked
No option to change usb connection type.
Tried from dialer(after some code ) (mtp+adp something like this option did not remember now)
2. Fast charging issue
Charging takes 6 hrs approx. Notifaction drawer shows cable charging.
Till now tried.
Changed adaptive fast charger. No success
Changed cables no success
Turned on/off fast charging option in battery settings. No success
Used different chargers. No sucess
Fast charger but wirks on other phone i tested note4 it works fine.
After searching on internet for both the problems i did not get any working solution.
Dont know why this is happening.

because i wanted to use the dex mode with a nice screen etc with my s10.
Only unfortunately i did not get the monitor activated, it installed some dex software after the first time
I connected my s10 with the hub but I don't get any output to my hdmi monitor.
I tried this with the hub powered and without the hub powered ..
Anybody has any idea how to fix this problem?

update: Ok I have DEX working now on the 3rd monitor it works smooth. Why it did not work on the other 2 monitors ( 1 tv and 1 pc monitor) I do not know
but I will keep you posted

Ok i have the galaxy A32 5G and yes they will allow you to watch your fav movies and anything that is on your phones screen,without having to use your hotspot data.if you have unlimited high speed data like i do then you can really use this,i do know it works on youtube tried already,you will have to buy this cable Renkchip 2-in-1 USB C/Micro USB to HDMI Cable you can also charge phone at same time with usb end pluged into usb on tv.working on my old lg27 inch tv .its cheapest on ebay that is where i purchased mine.it works flawlessly.I payed 22 us dollars at ebay others want 30 bucks.you dont have to turn on bluetooth for sound it works auto,with this adapter cable. you will download ezcast from google play for the device you gonna use it on,for me it was android the A32 5g.hope this helps any of you wanting to know a real life working product for free mirror to tv without using your wifi/hotspot data
I scripted the entire process for these with tasker to automatically do everything after plug in (connect bluetooth audio, change res to 16x9 (1280x720) for full screen on tv, set refresh to 60hz (adaptive gets to 90hz and its too much bandwidth), minimize app) and leave you at the home screen.
Another one for unplug that reverts everything without having to touch anything as well. Leaving you at homesceen, cleared notifications.
The only downside is that it uses state power usb, which means it will activate\deactivate when plugged into a PC too which really isnt a big deal imo. AC wall adapters dont trigger it.
Lmk if you want them they are quite handy. I dont think you need to be rooted, and you will have to change your cables mac address in tasker (easy) for BT audio.
*You dont need to touch anything for this. It even automatically presses the Mirror dialog button.
