Can someone please help me with the right steps on how to change or load a new bootscreen/animation on my eris. I have followed the steps for bootsound and it works great. I deleted my cm7 bootanimation and placed the unstable core bootanimation in the data/local folder using root explorer and i get nothing except the word android? please help...nothing

Hello! I'm currently theming my HTC Desire to look a bit like a Samsung Galaxy S (because I love some of the UI elements). I've successfully changed every icon which differs in the framework-res.apk, successfully. But I never found any image for this "header" above popup dialogs:
Does anyone know in what file it's located?

EDIT: Mr. Megi found it in the framework-res.apk, it was named: popup_top_dark.9.png and popup_top_bright.9.png
I just want to say, that i've made a bootanimation installer, seems to works on all Xperia family, and in my Concept, should work on all devices with bootanimation on /system/media, so give it a look, original post:

Bootanimation preview, should work with any bootanimation with PART0/PART1 (all devices?). Also it automatically resizes to bootanimation Size
This is my first boot animation and i want to share with you.
It works on my Overcome Jupiter Rom.
Rename the file from "bootanimation_rockon.zip" to "bootanimation.zip" and with Root Explorer copy it into "/system/media" and replace the one that's already there. (make a backup of the original one before) and change the permissions of that file to "rw-r--r--".
And reboot.
You know the blah blah, do it at your own risk, if makes your Tab explode is not my fault, just to let you know, on my Tab is working perfectly.

Hello, I am new to xda forum and I know this is not where I should post but don't know where else to.
So I was messing with build.prop file in /system directory to enable features in some apps. After reboot I don't see it changed anything and now there's a black line under keyboard when I type.
