[Q] Audio output problem with the new firmware - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I updated to the new .13 firmware yesterday. Everything seems fine except one little problem. The audio output sometimes just don't obey the headphone jack status. There was one time audio was playing through both the speakers and the headphone. Also, after a long sleep, there is no audio output.
Sometimes the music app plays music on it own, or stop music on it own. Really annoying bug.
Does anyone experience similar hick up?
Thanks

I just updated my dock firmware and also don't have any audio coming out if the speakers. I've yet to try a reboot because I'm about to pass out lol...but hopefully Asus knows and will put a fix out soon

[Q] Horrible audio input after update?

Is anybody else getting horrible audio quality with headphones after the update? Even at low volumes, my music is distorted and very tinny.
Before the update, the audio quality was excellent with headphones in, but it's unbearable now
I tested this with Pandora, Google Music, and Doubletwist, so it's not a software issue.
Music et sound through my headphones are just as good as it was before the update. The speakers themselves were never good, but I see no change in output on my headphones or external speakers
I cant comment on that but I did notice that my speaker output levels are different now. They are about 65/35 right dominant. I don't think it was like that before.
No changes for me: external speakers are the same (not the best, but evenly distributed) and headphone sound is good enough.
I had the same problem after the update. Offline update for a second time without any success.
Resetting the device to factory defaults solved the sound problem.

[Q] Bluetooth cutting out

Hey guys,
I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this problem, but when I am listening to music on my phone using bluetooth headphones I occasionally have the sound cut out, transfer to my phones speaker for a second, and then either pause the music or resume playing the music on my headphones. Every now and then when I am listening to music, the music cuts out but my music player (either stock HTC Music app, Doubletwist, or Winamp) will still show that it is trying to play the music, but no audio will be coming from my headphones. When i try to pause/play the the music again, the music player freezes and eventually everything on my phone locks up and the "HTC quietly brilliant" splash screen will pop up as the phone spontaneously reboots itself.
After the reboot finishes, my Bluetooth connection will show as "Turning on..." but it never officially does, and music still doesn't play through my headphones. My headphones will still beep at me, indicating that they have established a connection at some point.
Anyone else experience this problem? It only seemed to pop up after the ICS update. If it comes up. I am running the stock Sense ROM, non rooted.
you are only the 3rd person I have seen with this problem myself included, thing is mine only happens when I listen to Pandora.I was told it was more than likely the bluetooth module is bad,not so sure about that
Bluetooth problems
Yeah I'm getting the same problem. It's got sooo bad now, bluetooth isn't even loading after a reboot - getting 'stuck' at "bluetooth is turning on". Pain in the wotsit as I can't use the phone across bluetooth in the car. Occasionally loads then crashes a few minutes later. Several reboots and it MIGHT work for a short period,, but nearly always crashes. Anyone know of a way to reset the pairings - maybe that's the problem?

Same problem
I also have same problem. Unpredictable Bluetooth headset function off-and-on and short period (a few minutes) working.
Some day it works well and some bad day it's gone. What happen to my phone !!!
I'm not sure, it's hardware or software problem. I flashed to a few ROMs (Vipers, Virtous Inquisition, Megadroid), this same problem still occurs.

[Q] Bluetooth audio too quiet with GoogleNow, all other bluetooth audio is good

I have been using the Nexus 5 for a day now, and have encountered the most annoying problem... When the phone is connected to my car bluetooth (toyota Rav4), any audio spoken back from the GoogleNow tool is way too soft/quiet. All other bluetooth audio however is great, loud and clear. For example, if I use GoogleNow to say Navigate to HomeDepot, it will respond back "navigating to HomeDepot" at a volume level way too low to even barely hear, but once the maps application opens and starts speaking directions, the audio is great. It is only the GoogleNow voice that is down too low... all other BT audio and apps are just fine. This happens for any audio from GoogleNow played back in BT.
Can anyone else repeat the same problem? It can't be hardware related, right, since all other BT audio works fine?
Any ideas to resolve are appreciated.

Audio issues on stock Oreo.

Hi everyone,
I seem to be having issues on the stock ROM sometimes where the audio quality drops and sounds like call audio, that's the best way I can describe it. This happens on the speaker on the phone, Bluetooth headphones, wired headset, everything. I managed to find a temporary work around in Poweramp which sometimes doesn't even work at all.

No audio output - only on standard phone calls

Hello all,
I have a very weird issue on my Mi4. There is no audio output from any app (Media player, Whats-app, Skype, Youtube, etc. )regardless if it's the phone's speaker or if there are headphones. There is simply no audio. But here is the crazy thing - the microphone works so i can send audio messages on whatsapp for example or record my voice but can't hear them back. Also the only audio output i get both from the loudspeaker and headset is from a standard phonecall. Anything else is simply mute. No sound at all.
I've tried scouring the internet for a problem like this but haven't found anything. I've tried a lot of things short of reflashing the rom. But if someone can come up with a better solution i'd be more than happy to try it.
Thanks
Update: I flashed another ROM and the problem persists.
