Has anyone tried applying a Sapphire theme to Ruby 1.4? I have it on 1.1 but I can't seem to get it to load on 1.4.

Ruby 1.1.4 was not built by the official people who built Ruby. 1.1.1 was the last official version made by them. Unfortunately, there are most likely changes that the community made in 1.1.4 that won't allow the themes to work properly.
There are themes for 1.1.4. The best place to look is droidforums.net under the cvpcs section in droid custom roms. I would put up a link but am on the phone.
Cvpcs put out test builds with sapphire a lot between 1.0 and 1.1.1, and like ruby 1.1.4 were not official, however they are functional. Think of them as nightlies, but more stable

Worked like a charm (get it?) Thanks!

Since the current break thru on Fr3vo and soon Fre3dom.
My excitement level is getting higher and higher everyday.
Don't get me wrong I am enjoying what I have at the moment.
I have had no issues at all with my Sensation.
But XDA and being an owner of the HD2 I have become a flashaholic.
I am wondering what roms everyone is waiting on?
I personally can't wait for a Cyanogen or MIUI Rom to flash.
And you?

I'm looking forward to CM and an optimized Sense 3.0 rom

AOSP 2.3.4 ROM of some sort, CM and a deodexed bloatfree version of 3.0.

we have a winner!
same thing for me, the optimizations in 2.3.4 would be quite the boon for the S4G
Anything Ice cream sandwich based.
OP said it already... CM7 (!!) and MIUI. I'm switching over from a G1, so I'm looking forward to MIUI just to play with, but CM7 as a daily driver. Can't wait!

same here, cm7 will probably be epic
Villainrom!
Would love to try miui sometime.
Else, just a very very clean rom like CleanDhd was for the Desire Hd.
All bloatware removed, as clean as it could possibly get
One of these days pretty soon I'm going to do a deodexed bloatfree Sense 3.0. First HTC phone for me, but I've gotten to quite like Sense. Just needs some optimization though.
Maybe a quicker kernel too.
CM7 will do for me... Or any rom that does not use allot of battery to run
Bring em on...all the great cooked dinners by our chefs! Happy Flashing
I am looking forward to CM7

me too.
Looking for a Sense-based rom that is optimized.
Might install CM7 on it to play around.
But right now, I am pretty much used to Sense.
MiUi = Best ROM for performance + functionality + eyecandy. (those Chinese know their ****)
If no MiUi then CM for sure!
I like Sense, but it's not the most practical.
I agree. I have always had CM7 on ny HD2.
Then I got the Sensation I tried out a MIUI Rom and love it.
I'm wondering why I never with MIUI as a daily runner before.

I've got a two-day old Nexus S and I'm loving it. I've already had NSCollab and the ICS ROM on it and I loved the ICS feel but it isn't stable enough for my daily use right now. Can anyone suggest a CM-based ROM that has support for the Theme Chooser so I can put an ICS theme over Gingerbread? (Alternately, can I install the Theme Chooser on my current NexusMV ROM?)
Look for the deck 1.3 rom. It supports theme chooser and its based of gingerbead 2.3.7. I've been using it for the past few weeks and its awesome.

Looks like deck is for the NS4G and I've got the Tmobile version. Sorry I didn't mention that.

I've been running the Ultimate Crespo 2.0 for a few days now. It's based off CM 7 and incorporates theme chooser.
Been very stable and fast so far.
hey guys, is there a "most stable MiUI" rom to date? i've read many users have had issues with galnets latest release..
I doesn't matter if it is an old MiUI release.. like 1.10.XX ?? anyone please?
The recent galnet release is pretty stable for me.

Miui
Miui v1.11.25. Works hood for me.
Hi,
I guess this question has been asked in the past but there has been alot of development since so asking what is the best ICS or JB ROM for stability (most important) and speed (less important but still needed)?
There has been very little development since two days ago, so why ask the same question again?
Try the ROMs yourself or read the threads please.
Try it yourself btw there is a New ICE DS update to 6.5 feels lot smoother.
Roms constantly gets updated... so all i can tell you is to TRY IT

Check it yourself. And it's in the wrong section
Tapatalked from Desire S running Andromadus
i use the desire XS beta 1.6 , very fast and stable
In my opinion, Paranoid Android 2.x kicks butt. I'm using it for a few months and it's just marvelous! It's very smooth stable and fast...

If you want a jellybean ROM, speed doesn't matter cuz its 'project butter'.
But if you want a custom ROM;
1. CyanogenMod is the most stable. But has the least tweaks.
2. ParanoidAndroid is based on CyanogenMod and it has a little more tweaks compared to CyanogenMod + it has tablet mode. If you have a big device I'd suggest you go for this ROM.
3. AOKP. Best community ever. Amazing guys in the team. If you're on twitter, look for aokp_ROM and follow whatever he follows. Most number of tweaks EVER. Super fast.
